We picked the trailer up and it was clean and in apparent good condition. However, after loading and hauling through the rain the trailer leaked water and there was damage to some of the contents, some of which were not on the floor. The contents under the cap of my pickup truck that I used to haul the trailer were dry and in better conditions than some of the boxes in the trailer. Temperatures dropped after we arrived at our destination and some items were frozen to the floor of the trailer the next morning when we unloaded it. This is by no mean a reflection on the U-Haul store but more on U-Haul corporate for failing to maintain their equipment as this trailer was designated for one way travel.J Michael R.

I booked a two way trip with a 26' truck three months ago for a move. On Tuesday(two days before my move) I was told they got me a one way 20' truck. I couldn't find another truck such last minute. I finally was told I could get a 26' truck but at a location 40 minutes from my house but it had to be returned to the location. I was assured they would refund any additional miles and they would extend my rental for three days so that it would be the same cost as a two way but I had to pay for gas. I just got back and was told I had to pay an additional 780$ and a late fee of 40$. I had to call head office and jump through hoops to have them honour the compromise I had to accept. I'm so disappointed and appalled with the service and experience. Plus the truck had a lurch and shook.Nathan M.

There was only one person managing the customers. We stood for 20 minutes before approaching the desk to finalize the rental details (we had already completed the online check in) and obtain the keys. We rented a 10' truck. When we got in, we found a container of food and a fork and a cardboard sign in the truck, that we had to remove. Perhaps on the return inspections, no one bothered to clean out the truck for the next renter.Suzanne R.

The parking lot tends to get crowded and tough to navigate due to do actual dedicated customer parking. But the mobile pickup went smooth overall, other than the fact that someone had smoked in the truck at some point. But it was a good vehicle and got the job done.JOHN B.

The rental we reserved weeks wasn't available when we got there and were told we had to wait 15 minutes and to 'come back later'. When we got to the van, we realized that the km out on the paper we were given wasn't accurate and was 23km off, meaning that they would have charged us for an extra 23km of we didn't notice. We had to wait in line again, further delaying us, to get it fixed while we waited. This added an extra 25 minutes to our pickup, further delaying us. I still haven't gotten a final receipt from UHaul after dropping it off and will have to waste more time calling customer support to be put on hold for 20 minutes. This issue with the rental not being available on time and the discrepancy in mileage delayed us as we had a time slot for a pickup of furniture elsewhere as well as our elevator booked. It made the experience very frustrating. I won't be renting from U-Haul again.Arthur B.
I ordered and got confirmation at Mavis/dundas for a 26' truck and i was told only 20' available a day before pickup. When arriving i was told there is no truck and i have drive extra 40km to another location. I was looking for the smallest utility trailer that has a ramp, and ended up renting online a much larger trailer than I wanted, because smaller ones that do have a ramp are not shown on your webpage. It only became obvious you have the smaller ones with ramp once I visited this U-HAUL location. You need to update your website to reflect this.Shaheen G.

My credit card was charged for an entire extra month for two storage units, despite having moved out. I am now having to spend hours going back and forth with head office by phone, email and chat to get my refund. This location *never* picks up their phone, the call always bounces to the main customer service line. Moving in was smooth, moving out has been an absolute pain.
