Had my pick up location and time changed 3 times within a 24 hour period because the truck I had rented suddenly became unavailable. Got a call just before I was leaving to pickup for the second location that they wouldn't have a truck available. At the third and final location when I arrived for the pick up time they said they gave the previous renter more time so the truck wouldn't be available for at least another two hours. All this on the day I was to be moving. What a horrible experience. I had to settle for what they had on site.

The questions are about location not service which was the very bad experience cost me delay and money . Pick up was supposed to be 1 at Matheson 5 minutes before pick up and while my mover was at the location I got a call for a change as the truck was not ready????? This was stressful ,costly and bad to me it cost $100 extra as that was inconvenient for the mover . If there is a delay client needs to get enough time not 5 minutes. My first option was Brampton location ???? Then Royal Windsor drive came up as I was very upset !!!! Make it easier will clients not stressful

Horrible customer service. Josh and Tammy were exceptional considering Laura was belligerent, disrespectful, terrible attitude and yelling at both of them. I dealt with this location twice this week and was verbally attacked by Laura both times for asking about the discrepancy on a deposit. The general manager stood by and allowed it. Get rid of Laura get additional training for Julie and make sure the manager is supportive and not standing by ignoring this disgusting behaviour. I would rather carry my furniture on my back than every use this location again! !

Do not leave the trucks engine running after it is brought around for customers. Waste of gas, unnecessary air pollution and breaks Mississauga by-laws.

We were given someone else rental. We booked a cargo van, we were given a 10' truck. The paper work for a rental didn't match the key, our rental form was in miles and the truck was in kilometres. The person who got our truck took 15 min's trying to figure out why, before just telling us it's OK and leave. Then when we came back it took over 30 Min's before they figured out we had someone else's rental and had to sort out the paper work. Not a great experience. Would not recommend this location.

staff new and not trained, in spite of a number of staff lingering around and having a good time no one was helping her. On line/telephone process is awful awful!! Nothing good to say about that telephone experience.

I booked an open top 12' trailer for use on 27th May 2016 for 7am. I arrived at the location on royal Windsor road Oakville only to discover that the trailer I was promised was STILL OUT with a previous customer. The person who was dealing with me rang this customer to request the trailers return only to find that the trailer would be needed for another day. I mentioned to the person behind the counter that there was another trailer in the yard ( with a ramp ) and that I didn't mind using that one. The person then told me that it was booked out to THREE families and that I wouldn't be able to use it. I told the same person that I booked my trailer over three days back and that I was promised the trailer I required on the day. She then told me there was another location 7 km away and that I could get one there ,I told her that the other families could go to that location as I had booked the trailer so far back in the week. She then told me " what can I do if customers lie to me?" ( regarding the customer who held onto the trailer a second day ) I told her that this outlet "is a **** show" and left as this wasn't my first problem with this location. I went online and found another location that was MORE THAN helpful with my trailer requirements for the day. I arrived at the other location ONLY to discover that the trailer hitch wiring that the royal Windsor location had performed along with a trailer hitch was faulty. I then had to drive back to the royal Windsor location to have the wiring checked ( as this was the first time I had used the hitch / wiring ) turns out it was a faulty unit that was installed and I had to wait almost one hour for this to be resolved. While waiting in the hitch install area a young member of staff told I wasn't able to wait in the garage area as it was a against U Haul policy ( even though there is NO signage to make the public aware of this policy ) I asked the young member of staff " what's U Hauls policy on doing a professesional job in the first place?" And walked away. The frustration of the morning came to a head when my new wiring had been done I was checking under the hood to see if the connection on the positive terminal of the battery was good as U Haul had done previous work in a poor way and the same young member of staff decided to explain that the terminal I was touching was the negative side and that they hadn't done anything with it, I told the young member of staff "that I knew which terminal U Haul had ****** up he then chose to be less than professional towards a paying member of the public by telling me to " just get out of here " I WILL NOT USE THIS LOCATION AGAIN AND STRONGLY ADVISE ANYONE DOUBLE CHECK AVAILABILITY OR BETTER STILL USE ENTERPRISE OR PENSKE "

Moving from a condo downtown to a new home in the suburbs, I booked my elevator for my move more than one month beforehand. I also reserved a 17' truck through U-Haul at a location convenient for my family to pick up the truck to meet me. My elevator was booked only for a few hours and I needed to be able to complete my move in a short time frame. The day before my move, I received a notification that my reservation was being changed. The pick-up location was now more than 15km away from the original pick-up location in the opposite direction of my condo. In addition, I was given a 20' truck instead of a 17' truck and I was told I would need to return it three hours earlier than planned. This was extremely frustrating considering I had spent the last month planning my move which involved multiple people in various cities. I spoke to an associate over the phone and explained my frustrations with all of the changes. Not only would I be losing time with my move having to pick up the truck from a farther location, I was also responsible for the additional mileage incurred due to the change. The representative informed me that I was forced to accept the changes and he would not be compensating me for the additional mileage. He was not helpful or sympathetic to the situation. I will never recommend U-Haul again to any friends or family. This was the most frustrating experience and caused a high amount of stress for everyone involved less than 24 hours from the move. Terrible customer service and corporate policies.

The truck was in very poor condition. Very old and some systems like the AC did not work. The truck also would not start the second day. I would have been very nervous taking this truck anywhere longer distance. Also I was told the gas,was full. If wasn't. I had to put in 69 litres to go 100 miles. I told the clerk when I returned it and they said they would,look into it. I'm still waiting.. really poor
