The truck had no gas when I got it, it was dirty inside the bed when I got it and they charged me for a cleaning fee. The wiper blades we broken and I notified someone before I left. After I left with the truck I noticed the brakes were absolutely horrible, I rented the 26 foot box truck so it definitely needs good brakes and this one did not. I called and said I need a different truck and they told me “this is the only one we have available. After I got to my destination with the truck and loaded it, when the weight in the back the brakes were even worse. I called and said I don’t feel safe driving the truck like this (a truck with brakes this bad shouldn’t even be on the road) and they told me “okay bring it back and we will change it” after they told me this is the only one we had available. Terrible experience and I have videos to prove how pour the maintenance is on this truck. I’m still waiting for a manager to call me back because something need to be done about this. Absolutely unacceptable

When I picked up my truck, I was told that the fuel level was at 1/4 of a tank, which was accurate. It was a little inconvenient to have to stop and get fuel before I drove into Toronto, which was my destination. Other than that service was great staff was friendly.

When I came to pick up the truck, there were three people on computers behind the desk. The lady was checking in a customer, but there were two guys standing there on a computer and didn't even acknowledge me for over 5 minutes. When the lady was done with the customer, she helped me. At least acknowledge someone standing there. The truck seemed to have a seized caliper, as when I was coming to a complete stop, the brakes would seize up. I didn't bother to tell them as they should know that.

no need to change anything. store is clean, parts for towing and moving supplies are neatly displayed, store staff is friendly and quite efficient. when we came to rent a van there was a line up of 6 or 7 people which they handled in stress free way.

There was only one person on the counter who showed empathy to my long wait time just to rent $5 blankets. It is ridiculous that there is the same process to rent $5 blankets as there is to rent a uhaul. There should be a separate area to scan products, pay and go with no necessity to show drivers license or go through a lot of paperwork - it deters people from purchasing any items from uhaul.

My drop off location was changed without my permission in the final few hours, making me drive an extra 10km and wasting gas. Is this even legal? "Per our conversation, I have included a link to the agreed upon drop off location to assist you in locating it." I had a missed call while moving, there was no conversation. Never again with uhaul.

One of the employee named Kai Selva insults me and didn't handle the situation professionally in the presence of the manger Rajba Thakur because the manger is from the same back ground culture she didn't do anything about nor apologizing to me about what he did in her presence. The service is very bad never again.

The two employees that I dealt with both over the phone and in person were excellent. When I got to the location to pick up the truck, I actually decided to change the size of the truck at the last minute. They handled my request with ease. The equipment was clean and easy to drive.

I set my reservation to pick up at 10am, when I received my keys it was almost 1020am because there was only one person at the front desk. Upon receiving my key for the truck, the truck was blocked off by another van. Only one worker was outside, running around doing his best to help customers. When I told the agent, he gave me another set of keys for another truck. That truck was stuck in snow and had hard time taking out of it. I almost spent 1hr to get my keys to get out of the lot. If you could please have a system where you have customers vehicles ready before hand for a smoother experience

My experience with U-Haul Storage was terrible. There was a clear disconnect between the accounting department and the front office staff. The manager, I believe her name is Glory, was very helpful, but the rest of the staff were not. One of the male employees told me he had to leave and that I should come back the next day—granted, it was 7:30 p.m., but his tone was unnecessarily rude. To make matters worse, I was bombarded with calls, texts, and emails claiming I hadn’t made a payment, even though I had already explained that the payment was mistakenly applied to the wrong unit. I had two storage units—one fully paid up—but I was locked out of both. My experience with the U-haul truck rental has been excellent but I will not be recommending U-Haul storage to anyone.

It was a busy Saturday morning, yet staff were available and helpful! As I was moving out of my storage unit, they were showing it to another prospective client who agreed on the spot to take it (unit 141, a prime ground floor space). The representative said they would check me out of the unit, there was no further action required from me. I followed up for a confirmation when I returned my rental truck, but was told there is no print/email that they can provide, and assured me that I had been checked out and no further payments would be processed. I would certainly appreciate a prorated refund on my rent paid: payment was on the 12th of each month and you rented the unit to someone on the 24th. From the consumer point of view it looks like double dipping on rental fees.

The services I received was excellent. The cart I used to transport my things was a big help for me as a woman moving things by myself. The lady working in the unit was very polite and helpful. Lesser waiting time in line would be nice, however I would recommend this U-Haul facility to a friend.

I was promised a free month and was charged anyways after having to go to the location multiple times and being told that the next month would be free eventually my card was taken off auto pay by staff and once the free month was promised they claimed I did not make payment I received multiple emails, denied access to my unit and charged a late fee. Eventually I finally spoke with the manager who was the only one that helped me but besides him this whole facility is a joke.

Poor customer service. Harassing emails and phone calls every month. They knew my situation personally, and still didn’t understand. My move out was awful. Apparently my locker was the only locker they had on the ground level. So there was 4 people who were smoking marijuana in the parking lot stood outside and watched us load. They Kept getting in the way. Annoying and uncalled for. I was paid up for the locker until the 21st and would not be given a rebate for the time paid. Meanwhile there are these people standing there just itching for me to get out. Worst experience with U-Haul. This location should be reported to head office. On a side note: No I did not contact them. I’ve had enough failed conversations with this facility.

Again, the staff was always helpful and attentive. I even forgot to take pictures of the empty unit and a staff member said that she would do that for me. I forgot to put in the symbol before the code numbers and after the code was input the symbol # then The only challenge was when calling the location no one answered the phone. I had to chat online letting a representative know that I need to speak with a live person right away. It did happen because as noted above..I forgot to take pictures of the empty unit. Other than that the kind mannerism and professional service were always displayed. Thank you for, the storage service right from the start to ending of the contract.

UHaul vehicles blocking all the customer parking areas, no place to park. Bay door was not accessible in the evening early morning. Reservations not being fulfilled, hutch installs cancelled with no notice are just a few of the issues. GM of this location does not care about good customer service

I've had my storage unit there for over 20 yrs. There was water leaking from the roof at one point, so my storage contents were moved with help of 2 UHaul employees. Always clean and well lit. Desk employees really friendly and young men outside knowledgeable and friendly. Just moved and used UHAUL 20' truck. No problems at all. The 3 seats were comfortable. I would recommend UHAUL to my family and friends. Thank you. Belinda

There was a wonderful older lady to cleans the unit, she was great & friendly ( i wish I could remember her nams). As this storage unit has 2 levels, they should have a lift or an elevator for 2nd floor units. It is very difficult to move in & out of without the lift or elevator.

I have never used a storage facility before but based on: 1. Location (Winston Churchill and Royal Windsor; 2. The security of the facility; 3. Heated facility; 4. Cleanliness 5. Availability of large or small access door; and 6. The availability of free use dollies; all mean that I would recommend these storage facilities with confidence.

My credit card was charged for an entire extra month for two storage units, despite having moved out. I am now having to spend hours going back and forth with head office by phone, email and chat to get my refund. This location *never* picks up their phone, the call always bounces to the main customer service line. Moving in was smooth, moving out has been an absolute pain. Would not recommend.

I have no complaints about the cleanliness or customer service at UHaul Royal Windsor Storage or staff. A recommendation is for a Kiosk where you are able to check in UHaul vans and/or trucks by scanning and placing into drop box.
