The truck had no gas when I got it, it was dirty inside the bed when I got it and they charged me for a cleaning fee. The wiper blades we broken and I notified someone before I left. After I left with the truck I noticed the brakes were absolutely horrible, I rented the 26 foot box truck so it definitely needs good brakes and this one did not. I called and said I need a different truck and they told me “this is the only one we have available. After I got to my destination with the truck and loaded it, when the weight in the back the brakes were even worse. I called and said I don’t feel safe driving the truck like this (a truck with brakes this bad shouldn’t even be on the road) and they told me “okay bring it back and we will change it” after they told me this is the only one we had available. Terrible experience and I have videos to prove how pour the maintenance is on this truck. I’m still waiting for a manager to call me back because something need to be done about this. Absolutely unacceptable

RAYMOND RWhen I picked up my truck, I was told that the fuel level was at 1/4 of a tank, which was accurate. It was a little inconvenient to have to stop and get fuel before I drove into Toronto, which was my destination. Other than that service was great staff was friendly.

Jonathan VWhen I came to pick up the truck, there were three people on computers behind the desk. The lady was checking in a customer, but there were two guys standing there on a computer and didn't even acknowledge me for over 5 minutes. When the lady was done with the customer, she helped me. At least acknowledge someone standing there. The truck seemed to have a seized caliper, as when I was coming to a complete stop, the brakes would seize up. I didn't bother to tell them as they should know that.

It is ridiculous that there is the same process to rent $5 blankets as there is to rent a uhaul. There should be a separate area to scan products, pay and go with no necessity to show drivers license or go through a lot of paperwork - it deters people from purchasing any items from uhaul.
SIMON FMy drop off location was changed without my permission in the final few hours, making me drive an extra 10km and wasting gas. Is this even legal? "Per our conversation, I have included a link to the agreed upon drop off location to assist you in locating it." I had a missed call while moving, there was no conversation. Never again with uhaul.
DANIEL DOne of the employee named Kai Selva insults me and didn't handle the situation professionally in the presence of the manger Rajba Thakur because the manger is from the same back ground culture she didn't do anything about nor apologizing to me about what he did in her presence. The service is very bad never again.

STEVEN II set my reservation to pick up at 10am, when I received my keys it was almost 1020am because there was only one person at the front desk. Upon receiving my key for the truck, the truck was blocked off by another van. Only one worker was outside, running around doing his best to help customers. When I told the agent, he gave me another set of keys for another truck. That truck was stuck in snow and had hard time taking out of it. I almost spent 1hr to get my keys to get out of the lot. If you could please have a system where you have customers vehicles ready before hand for a smoother experience

DAVE H | Overall ExperienceMy experience with U-Haul Storage was terrible. There was a clear disconnect between the accounting department and the front office staff. The manager, I believe her name is Glory, was very helpful, but the rest of the staff were not. One of the male employees told me he had to leave and that I should come back the next day—granted, it was 7:30 p.m., but his tone was unnecessarily rude. To make matters worse, I was bombarded with calls, texts, and emails claiming I hadn’t made a payment, even though I had already explained that the payment was mistakenly applied to the wrong unit. I had two storage units—one fully paid up—but I was locked out of both. My experience with the U-haul truck rental has been excellent but I will not be recommending U-Haul storage to anyone.

As I was moving out of my storage unit, they were showing it to another prospective client who agreed on the spot to take it (unit 141, a prime ground floor space). The representative said they would check me out of the unit, there was no further action required from me. I followed up for a confirmation when I returned my rental truck, but was told there is no print/email that they can provide, and assured me that I had been checked out and no further payments would be processed. I would certainly appreciate a prorated refund on my rent paid: payment was on the 12th of each month and you rented the unit to someone on the 24th. From the consumer point of view it looks like double dipping on rental fees.

Apparently my locker was the only locker they had on the ground level. So there was 4 people who were smoking marijuana in the parking lot stood outside and watched us load. They Kept getting in the way. Annoying and uncalled for. I was paid up for the locker until the 21st and would not be given a rebate for the time paid. Meanwhile there are these people standing there just itching for me to get out. Worst experience with U-Haul. This location should be reported to head office. On a side note: No I did not contact them. I’ve had enough failed conversations with this facility.
