We reserved a van weeks in advance to p/u in Misssissauga and drop off in Guelph. A day or two before we were to p:u the van we were informed that we would have to p/u and ran to the south Mississauga location. So much for your guarantee. Very poor customer service. I rented the truck from this location, and my return time was 8:30pm as mentioned on the contract agreement. I returned the truck by 8:00 pm. But still they charged me 20$ Off-time drop charger . I called the customer service but they said someone will call me , but I never received any call from anyone. Additional items were added to the order which was not requested. The vehicle was noted to be 7/8 filled with gas and when I went to depart it was empty. Needed to wait to change vehicles over. All was worked out but just an annoying and delayed start to the day.MARC H.
There was an issue at pick up with an adapter recommended by the employee. The result was I needed to take my truck in to a mechanic before I was able to pick up the uhaul. This was a major inconvenience and after 2 hours of inspecting the issue it was found that it was the wrong adapter suggested by the uhaul employee. I sent an email to the manager at this location and I was very promptly credited for the amount I had to pay the mechanic. The customer service was swift and appreciated.STEWART C.

The Staff are not trained on how to do a refund or contact a supervisor, manager, owner or customer service to ask for help and are very rude. So rude in fact that they tell you that you a essentially a liar. Today 2 staff were behind the counter but only one of them is working. The other staff just sat and fiddled with locks and pens in his hands acting like a lazy bored child with no supervision from management while there are people in a line up. (June 7 2021 2pm). I would love to get paid to be LAZY and do nothing all day (yet have a big mouth and a bad attitude) Hope all three of the employees get fired or at the very least retrained. I didn't receive the proper equipment I was over charged my destination was orangeville, Ontario but had to take it to beeton Ontario the girl at the pickup location was less than helpful, the person that phoned me for my deposit return was swearing on the phone. Original one way truck I had booked a month before was apparently now unavailable two days before move. Had to rearrange move at short notice. The reservation system is pointless. I reserved a 15' truck along with two dollies on May 10th and I get to this U-Hual location early for my pick up appointment and I am told that there are no dollies available and that it is on a first come first serve basis. Why have a reservation system if its on a first come first serve basis? Why did I book 20 days in advanced if I could have just showed up when Uhaul opened? Also, when questioning this â€œreservation systemâ€ I was greeted by different employees in the office and lot all with a serious attitude problem, like this was somehow my fault. Terrible customer service by everyone I dealt with at this location. I will not be returning and will not recommend.JOSEPH S.
There is an error on my billed invoice. I rented the trailer AV7311B on May 29 2021 from 7:04 to 9:34. I returned the trailer and a gentleman with a beard said that I was good to go. Attached you will see a time stamped picture of the trailer when I returned it. I should not be charged for 2 days as per my invoice as the rental was returned less than 3 hours from when I picked it up.RAFAL U.

Unfortunately when I arrived there was no one at the counter and that stayed that way for 25 minutes. Another customer had to go and find the staff member. This caused a huge line and With the current pandemic not the safest. On top of that I had chosen the self check out option and ended up waiting. Another customer had to literally leave the line and go and pull them back inside. Not organized and unfortunately a terrible experience. No respect for the customers time and above all safety. My credit card was charged for an entire extra month for two storage units, despite having moved out. I am now having to spend hours going back and forth with head office by phone, email and chat to get my refund. This location *never* picks up their phone, the call always bounces to the main customer service line. Moving in was smooth, moving out has been an absolute pain.
