The overall truck rental was fine (checked in online) but the staff at this location were very rude and disorganized. Had problems with the return. Drove to the return point asked a staff member was told to go inside, the staff inside instructed me to go back outside and then some guy just grabbed the key from me no explanation, no receipt, just grabbed the key and ran off. Very unprofessional. A bunch of staff were just running in and out, ignoring customers. Finally after approaching several workers one agreed to bring me a receipt but when you are returning rental equipment you would expect some kind of confirmation instead of someone grabbing the key from your hand and running away.Daria K.

When a truck is rented it should have a full tank of fuel. Giving a custumer a truck with an 1/8th of a tank of gas puts an additional strain on a customer as their first trip is to a gas station. A customer should receive the truck full and return it full. When I asked to recive it full the attendent rudly told me that was not their policy. Moving is stressful. Your company is prviding built in stress with every rental. Please review this policy as it would provide a more stress free situation. Customer service is more than just providing a truck. Unhappy with my rental. When people in Canada have to drive up north in the winter your truck is useless...no snow tires and no 4x4 makes this a pointless truck for some of us to use. I have received the following invoice against the contract number 85881128 for the truck i rented yesterday. I am not agree with the calculation it has made due to following reason. 1. The MI Out mentioned in the contract is wrong as when i have started the engine it was showing 115175 instead of 115127. 2. This is the first time i have rented any vehicle from you and it was my mistake i have not check the contract and tally it while starting the engine. 3. I have only shifted my house hold items with in mississauge same area from small basement so it won't make any sense that the truck drove that much miles. I have attached the image i took at the time i have taken it. The guy who has given us the contract has not explain us to recheck it at the time of issue and the door was closed the same time we left the office due to closing hours. Please re-investigate this and don't deduct the following invoice amount until we agree on it. The only issue was the lights on the unit would flicker while I was driving. The person hooking up initially had issues getting brake lights to work. After stopping a few times..... I was able to stop the flickering by playing around with the trailer harness.Mike H.

-Well, I did over fill the uhual with more gas then originally received - inquired to at least not charge me the KM overage, but they said nothing can be done. Something always can be done in my experience. I've used Uhual to move myself Ottawa, back to Mississauga, to Niagara, back to Mississauga. - I recommend more flexibility in the overages for what it is. I would've like to get reimbursed for the extra gas I put in to all the vehicles I ever gave back from all my moves. But nothing is ever "possible".GRACJAN B.

I had the worst moving experience with uHaul. For a big brand name, this was really a horrible experience. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Firstly, I didn't get the service that I had requested. Then, on the day of my contract when I went to pick up the requested truck, I was left with. no choice to go for a bigger truck. I had asked for a 22" truck and was given a 26" truck instead. There was no communication before hand from uHaul regarding this. When I asked for a 15" truck instead, they didn't provide me with it either. The 26" truck consumed more gas than how much a 22" would consume. Upon returning the vehicle, I was told that the gas level was not up to the mark and that I would be charged $50 for INCONVENIENCE!!!! What about the inconvenience caused to me by your staff? To top it off, the staff at the location was SO RUDE. In the end, when I came back to return the truck after refueling it and asked the staff if there were any charges that would come my way, the attendant responded saying, "Do you want us to charge you for something?" Is this the type of service that I get for paying $250? Such a BAD EXPERIENCE. I am never going to come to uHaul. Pathetic experience from the staff. Front desk told me I rent one day for 20 hours for $109 at 1/4 tank, return 1/4 tank before 6am next day but got charged extra $9 which is about 8 litres (I got it exactly at 1/4 tank) this is overcharge 1, next is I returned at 5:50am next morning, should get charge only one night but got charged 2 days for no reason. Self drop off didn't interact with any person. But over the phone I requested more days with the truck rental after an automatic extension and my request was denied for the reason of truck shortage and high demand. Yet when dropping off the yard/lot is full of trucks! Even though I got charged for a full third day. So now my one time unload turned into a 3 time load/unload as I needed a couple of more days until house possession. Overall U-haul is a convenient and awesome service.Ayad K.

The equipment is perfect for rental purposes. However, the staff at the location were unable inside the main reception, due to outside responsibilities. You need to dedicated 1 person inside at all times, otherwise in this case ( both morning / afternoon ), customers were standing around waiting for someone to come back into the building. Also, due to COVID-19, I had to personally remind one of the staff members to put their mask on properly ( it was dangling below nose! ) .Small details, however given the issue with COVID-19, staff need to be reminded on how to be properly protected & to protect their clients in a public area. I have been using this uHaul location for years and since it opened. It's by far the best. However, I wish uHaul management listens and add the following items to the things we can rent: 1- Loading ramps: why not include loading ramps like you have dollies. I ended renting a loading ramp from HomeDepot to move an appliance to my house. 2- Electric Stairclimber: also, moving appliances and heavy items to basements require electric stairclimber which I ended up also renting from another company. I strongly believe that these items should be made available to people to handle their moving needs. I want uHaul to be the one and only stop for all my moving needs. When I went to return it the attendant looked relieved as there was a customer waiting for a truck. He pointed out that the gas was 1/12th used I said I would go fill it up. The attendant said not to worry that I wouldnt be charged since he wanted to flip it quickly for the customer waiting. Then I received my invoice with a $25 gas charge. I am now having to spend hours going back and forth with head office by phone, email and chat to get my refund.
