Downloaded the u-haul app to find equipment and place the reservation. Part of the app didn't appear to work smoothly so I still had to finish the reservation when I arrived at the store. As this was a weekend the location choices for the type of equipment I wanted seemed limited compared to the number of locations the app showed. My only other issue was that it was very hard to match other available equipment substitutions to an area map of locations because the app didn't feature this option. Perhaps I could have just called and done it quicker.GARY W.

Everyone in the store was great. Before I got there I received a call telling me I couldn’t get the unit I ordered, I was not offered the $50 for a change in reservation like advertised. The truck they gave me the abs light kept coming on, and when it did, and when braking, the brake pedal went to the floor and would pulsate. I told two of the employees, and they didn't even acknowledge I said anything about it. I would have thought they would say something about it, but they did not.. Then, I went to fill up the gas tank before I rented the truck, and they wanted to charge me for additional gas usage. I took a picture of the gas gauge before I left the parking lot, and I should it to the employee. This u-haul experience absolutely was not very good. Trevor was very helpful. He went out of his way to work with us as the drop off location was changed from the place we rented from and we were never advised of same. Fortunately, he corrected their mistake so we didn't have to drive 20-30 minutes out of our way and be charged an additional fee. Our dropoff was another location in Springfield originally. The vehicle that was rented to us was in such bad condition, the original receivers refused to take it, requiring us to drive to another part of the city to take care of it. Drop off was simple, workers seemed astonished at the condition of the vechicle, but no one would do anything about it. We obviously were treated poorly by uHaul, but no one seems willing to remediate, everyone pointing fingers to the next guy in line. We're were also called multiple times during our move to return the truck earlier than the contracted time, because this was a "busy week." ... We are really astonished at how bad we were treated and the lack of any effort by uHaul to fix it.Julie D.

Our trailer had a pane of glass on the floor and what I was hoping was mud and smelled like barn animals. We were on a time limit and already hooked up so we went ahead and loaded. All we got when I alerted them to it was a- Gee sorry, we've been busy. We can give you another trailer. The staff at the location were easy to work with and helpful during the pick up and drop off. Disappointment was with the equipment being poorly maintained. The truck has clearly been rained in and had water sitting in different parts of the cab. This caused the truck to have a bad order and lots of gnats in the cab.ZACHARY W.

Was a great experience, other then the fact my wife and I fealt we were being stalked and watched like we where going to steal something. While moving in two girls in uhaul uniforms where constantly around us. Every time we turned around they where there. I mentioned this to rep who did the turn in on my truck. I was told they where the cleaning staff. He explained what thier jobs are. Honestly, my wife and I didn’t appreciate the feeling we where getting. We suffered a loss at our last storage unit. Someone broke in and cleaned it out. It all started by my wife being watched by a couple of people while she was unloading our truck. So we are a bit touchy and suspicious. I went with the medium size indoor storage unit. It was the biggest size but after I filled it I didn’t have room for some stuff so I just gave that stuff away since I couldn’t keep it. This rating is no reflection on the facility. I drove 500 miles to move someone and was on a very tight time schedule. I was help hostage by Uhaul because of a system wide computer issue that prevented the rental of storage units. I was delayed a day and required to stay over night incurring unexpected expenses.
