I can never get ahold of the store when I call it just rings forever and no one answers. They individual that checked me out was nice, however the guy that checked me in was rude. The interior of the cab was sticky and had a smell to it and the inside of the back was extremely dusty to the point I had to clean it out before I loaded it. As well the truck was almost on E when I picked it up and at the front desk I was told it was at 1/4 of a tank.RICHARD H.

I have used only this location in the past but will not use it again. Brand new drop off site with little directional signs. Staff inside acted like they didn't want to be bothered. They directed me to the drop off point outside but there was no one around there. I finally walked over to a young lady out on the lot she told me to go back inside and get in line. I waited about 10 min. Behind the only other customer inside all this while another employee sat at a desk and 2 others were just standing there talking. I personally think u haul should spend less on their new facility and hire a couple employees that are willing to be bothered waiting on customers. However, the trailer was great and no complaints about the performance.WARREN S.

My van that I had reserved wasn't there at all and then I got a truck instead and then my dolly didn't work correctly and made the moving experience a lot harder.JACKIE D.
There was confusion on which truck I was supposed to be getting which was caused by lack of communication between the staff and resulted in a delay and my milage and gas level being incorrectly documented. When I returned the vehicle I got "not my job" twice and never had the mileage or gas level verified or my return acknowledged.Emma S.

You're fast to charge the amount due, but really slow at correcting the bill when an adjustment (mileage less than contracted for) is due. I called about the new balance due, and was told there was a 40 minute wait to speak to someone!!ROGER M.

After being advised by the staff that the unit I was looking at would accommodate a 1200 sq ft apt I secure the unit, upon seeing the unit and finding it was no more than a broom closet that was 10’ tall. When I went back to the representative for assistance he called the store manager who refused to assist, snapped at me to get off the property that he can refuse service and told me if I did not leave he would call the police for trespassing, when I requested a refund I was told to call corporate that he wasn’t refunding me until they made him do so. Upon contacting corporate I was issued refund and never returned but have received emails and a phone call telling me my storage payment is due. This location does not treat people well nor do they apparently manage their units appropriately as they did not document that the unit I secured was not used and the contract voided.PATRICIA K. | Overall Experience

Pickup truck that I rented for the weekend had a pitch connected to the back that was locked. I got all the way home I have to turn around to pick up another pickup truck. The condition of the second truck was horrendous. It was not screamed or serviced, the engine lugged when pulling an ultra light camper uphill and the windows were so dirty that when I was driving at night, I struggles trying to see from oncoming lights that glad so bad that I had to just about come to a complete stop. I have never had this is that of an experience before leaving over 2 hours later than I wanted to. Other than that oh, the staff was cordial, polite and we're doing the best that they couldGEORGE T.

Very long wait to pick up the trailer. We were in line for over 45 minutes. They seemed to be understaffed for such a busy day. Also, they over billed me and charged me for 2 days even though we dropped off after hours. I have had a very difficult time contacting the office about this. The staff here worked to find me a 15ft truck on short/same-day notice. The "Reservation" provided from the U-Haul website guaranteed a 15ft truck at the U-Haul center in Nixa, MO. When I arrived they tried giving me a 20 ft. truck. Not happy with the U-Haul website!!!BRIAN B.

First of all, I don't have any issues with the local U-Haul franchise, but what made me lower my rating for this location was how hard U-Haul makes it to communicate with the local franchise. We had a big issue with our storage unit and because of that we had to extend our U-Haul rental. Because we couldn't communicate with the local franchise, the process took about two hours and it was frustrating! I rated the equipment as not well maintained because it smelled like body odor and smoke in the cab and gave my wife a headache just sitting in it. It would be nice if the cab was cleaned and sanitized every once in a while. Also, I don't like that U-Haul makes my put my personal information, drivers license especially, online.Lloy P.

I used uhaul a few months ago for the first time and it was a HORRIBLE experience. I received a $20 certificate so I decided to give uhaul one more chance. This month I rented a truck and placed my certificate Information into my rental reservation. When I actually rented and returned the truck the certificate information was magically gone from my reservation and I was charged the full price. I selected that I wanted to dispute the price and the automated system said a uhaul representative would contact me within 48 hours. It's been over 48 hours and I have not heard from uhaul and my pending charge has posted for the entire rate. I will never use uhaul again. Absolutely terribly company. DO NOT USE THEM. They will mess up your reservation and then say â€œsorry this happened. We can't do anything to fix it. But here's a certificate to come back and use our crappy service againâ€ The only 2 times I've ever used uhaul service has both been a terrible experience. I DO NOT recommend uhaul. I was really hopeful uhaul would redeem themselves on the second try. Don't even disrespect me with another certificate. I will not use it. The only way You can rectify this issue is to refund my money. I've never been more disappointed in a company and their blatant disregard for 1) accurate reservation Information and 2) crappy customer service.Ethan P.

The manager Joshua Perkins is something else, he is abrasive, impolite, hostile, threatening. He threatened to call the police because I asked why they wouldn’t honor a valid reservation on an appropriate sized storage unit. Was a great experience, other then the fact my wife and I fealt we were being stalked and watched like we where going to steal something. While moving in two girls in uhaul uniforms where constantly around us. Every time we turned around they where there. I mentioned this to rep who did the turn in on my truck. I was told they where the cleaning staff. He explained what thier jobs are. Honestly, my wife and I didn’t appreciate the feeling we where getting. We suffered a loss at our last storage unit. Someone broke in and cleaned it out. It all started by my wife being watched by a couple of people while she was unloading our truck. So we are a bit touchy and suspicious. I went with the medium size indoor storage unit. It was the biggest size but after I filled it I didn’t have room for some stuff so I just gave that stuff away since I couldn’t keep it. This rating is no reflection on the facility. I drove 500 miles to move someone and was on a very tight time schedule. I was help hostage by Uhaul because of a system wide computer issue that prevented the rental of storage units. I was delayed a day and required to stay over night incurring unexpected expenses.
