Megan was excellent. I had reservations at a different store and they canceled my reservation 15 minutes after my pickup time. Megan was able to accommodate me and with great service. The store at 285 is trash for canceling my reservation but Megan is great for taking care of me.Bonny M.
While the overall experience was great, unfortunately, I was rented a unit that was already rented and sold a lock that was not the right one. It was a doozy when I arrived and could not put my stuff in the assigned unit. However, when I told the store mgr of the issues the next day, he took the time and care to make everything okay. Our items arrived wet and all three U-Haul boxes arrived without covers and only with see through plastic covers that were damaged. The U-Haul boxes had water damage inside and all of our belongings were wet. It is also very difficult and time consuming to speak to a representative on the phone. I called both locations (departure and arrival) and it took a total of hours on the phone waiting on hold to finally speak to someone. This was the worst experience I have ever had with U-Haul.Ana Maria C.

I had an issue with the level of gas in the vehicle, when I picked it. Tried calling the store multiple times but, did not get through. Then spoke to customer care and explained the situation. I had taken pics of the odometer and the fuel level and, I was told that was good enough. But, the day of the return, 4th July, the store was closed . When I processed the return online, I got charged for fuel charges, saying that there was 3/8 tank initially. However, I have pics as evidence that there was only 1/4 tank gas when I picked it. Though I raised a concern through customer support, till now neither have I received a resolution nor has anyone tried reaching out to me.kiran B.

It took a long time to get my truck. I completed on-line registration well in advance and arrived at the scheduled appointment time. There was one other customer in the facility. Truck was not ready at appointment time. which resulted in a delay in my move and I had to pay movers extra hourly rate because of the delay.Darren S.

Reservation was not met. I don't necessarily blame the facility for this however, our 26' truck was not able to be given to us till almost 2 hours after our reservation. When picking up the truck at a different location we were informed they did not have an appliance dolly for us. Service agent informed us she was sorry and would give us two of the small dolleys at no cost. We were charged for them. When asked about this I was told "there is nothing they can do". On top of everything the power steering when out half way through the move. At no point was a discount offered. And when asked I was informed again they could do nothing. I was also informed I "should have called their road side assistance blah blah blah". Add to the two hours I was already delayed (I was still expected to return the vehicle at the original time). I will never use uhaul again and would highly recommend everyone to use another service.James K.

The initial mileage shown on the contract was wrong. I drove only about 20 miles and i was charged for 50 miles and that was wrong.. Who ever wrote the initial miles made a mistake or fudged the miles. The equipment has transmission and other mechanical problems and was dangerous to drive.Joseph T.

It would be more convenient is the access hours were extended after 10pm. I had two units. I closed out one online with no issue. The second one was closed without my consent. I had emptied the unit and it still had my personal lock on it. It was closed after I had already paid for the month. I will visit the location to get an explanation. We had a concession trailer stored there for 4 years. We had no issues whatsoever with this company. David the store manager was super helpful when it came time to finally remove our trailer from their facility. We had to get it towed to our house from their facility and it was quite the job because it sat there for so long. He took his time helping the tow truck driver to come up with ways to get the trailer to roll, but the tires were flat. He tried to fill them and they wouldn't inflate, it wasn't on the rim properly, so he took the tires off filled them with air, and then placed them back properly so that the tow truck driver could tow it, thank you so much for that. I had made a reservation for a storage unit and called and confirmed the day before and the day of. They said they had it but when arriving they lost my reservation. They gave me a unit but it had a lock on it and they didn't have a key my movers were on hourly pay. So that cause their time to increase. More money out of my pocket.
