Agent failed to indicate that my trip was a one way to Greenville SC. He failed to indicate the correct milage. He failed to give me the Appliamce hand cart I reserve. In general he wasn’t professional and had little in the way of customer service. The agent in SC fixed the problems and I didn’t have to pay the $132 for return of the truck to Smyrna.

I had to transfer four 20 gal. storage containers a really small job, a small mini van would have been the ideal size for me.



The moving experience was fine, but after we turned the truck and the appliance dolly/pads in we received an email stating that the dolly was not returned! This caused quite a bit of stress since we saw the email over the weekend when the drop off location was closed. This error on your part certainly caused us to rethink our decision to use Uhaul in the future. Check your facts before sending erroneous emails! We took a pic of the empty truck with rented equipment inside before dropoff. We did receive an email the NEXT day which included a receipt, but that did not ease the stress.

Staff worked with was not trained on how to return a Uhaul truck using the mobile phone. He eventually got his colleague to help, who then had to come out and do it. The entire process was unclear and I had to ask what they were doing, etc.

The staff was excellent but most definitely could of used another person working that day. When I got there at 8:45 for a 9:00 pickup there was 4 people ahead of me and when I finished there was at least 12 people waiting in line. Brandi Landrum was extremely professional, polite and made every person feel like they were the only one there. She is in my opinion a great asset to your company. Blessings.

Check equipment and explain to customers how to use and not just assume they know how to maneuver faulty equipment. Also it would have been real helpful if someone would answer the phone when a question/answer is needed to the customer who has rented the truck before going on hold for 20 min.

I had a horrible experience when I checked out. I spoke to the manager and I believe she has handled the employee. That said I suppose I missed a gallon of gas when I filled, upon returning the van. I was charged for the first time ever, even tho I was given a van with a broken ( busted) passengers side mirror. This was dangerous and below the U-Haul standards.

It wasn't easy for the agents to figure out how to rent furniture pads for an extended period of time, so just make sure they know the procedure on those rare occasions when a customer does need to rent them longer than a day.

We were treated to First Class service. The Service Rep, Tony, was both professional and considerate. He explained the process, the policies, and procedures and made sure we understood what was expected of us and what we could expect from U-Haul. Altogether, an uncomfortable situation made bearable by Tony. Thank you for employing such a wonderful young man.

My truck rental went fine. I did run into a problem. All of the boxes I had stored were missing. I have asked to have video of all movement around my unit from Dec. 6, 2017 to present. I had a stove removed from the unit on that date and the boxes were there. When I submitted a request for moving help, I had the boxes listed as part of the things I would be removing. I am waiting for a answer from the storage company before I hire an attorney and report this to the media. I had lots of memories and irreplaceable items stored. I moved from Maryland from a three bedroom house that I owned for 17 yrs. to an apartment, that's why I had to store things until I could move them. I had a new stove removed from the unit on Dec. 6th which was given to charity and that was the last time I saw the boxes with a witness on hand.

I arrived 1 hour before the return time. In adherence to posted signage to wait with your rental equipment and wait for a customer service representative to come and assist with the check in procedure I waited for 15 minutes. Another truck pulled in behind me and the driver accident and walked in top of the building. Soon after a representative came out to assist him with his checking in. When the representative walk past me I got out and walked inside of the building and was immediately axed by Tiffany if I needed some assistance. I replied yes I do and need to turn in my rental equipment and she asked if I had handed the keys to the representative that was outside. I told her that I sat according to the sign and white it and no one emerged from the building and when the gentleman did he walked past me and went to the truck that was behind me as I placed a keys on the counter Tiffany smacked her lips rolled her eyes snatched the keys off of the counter and replied OK OK OK and walked out of the door. When she returned from inspecting my return, She shouted loudly as she entered the door you went way over your miles you owe us for 24 more miles. With a hesitant smile I looked at her and said charge my card. She placed a white piece of paper on the counter and I asked for the GM name and phone number. Tiffany stated his name and i asked again for gis number and Tiffany stated 1800uhaul. I picked up the paper and exited the building. This type of customer service I received Friday was reprehensible. I'm shocked this behavior is tolerated by such a well known company with such string ties to the community.
