The truck smelled like some sat and smoked cigarettes in it all day for a week. The doors had grime all over them as well as the dash board. Really gross. We had to turn the air off and ride with the windows down the entire time the smell was so horrible. As the wind from outside came in it made ashes fly around the cabin. I will say at least they had the truck available on short notice so I was grateful for that.

The equipment was clean visibly but smelled strongly of cat pee in the drivers area and cigarette smoke in the back. I was very concerned that none of the employees were wearing masks or practicing and social distancing. I felt like my health was at risk and I saw no sanitizing process of any kind. The online experience was great and the attendants were courteous but I will not return or recommend it to anyone based on the health risk in the current pandemic.

Make sure you have hand trucks available especially when I pay for one and they said they had them. Manager sent me 7 miles out of my was to pick one up. They seemed very rushed and the employees weren't getting along. It took me an hour and a half between the 2 locations to get the truck. It took me longer to get the truck than it took us to load our furniture. I am very disappointed

Did not have the truck I had reserved and chose to tell me when I arrived - is there not some kind of notification system to alert the customer when this happens or are we expected to pay more money out of necessity? I was offered the cargo van, which I had to accept but ended up using three trips instead of one like originally intended. Please fix your system, your current one is WACK.

The location I ended up getting my truck at was great. However, I originally reserved the truck at another location. When I got there, he didn't have any in stock and sent me to another nearby location assuming I could just get a truck there. When I arrived they didn't have any trucks available but at least looked up my reservation. Turns out UHaul took it upon themselves to not only change the location of my rental, but they also changed the date! I had driven from Tampa to Orlando for this truck and UHaul never called me to tell me of these reservation changes! I'm so grateful to the Orange Ave location for all their help but UHaul really messed up big time.

In addition to my U-Haul truck rental, I purchased a mattress bag and a rented an appliance dolly. I realized after getting to my moving destination that there was not an appliance dolly I the truck, and that I had not been given a mattress bag. I was told the money would be not be charged to me on my final statement, but when I looked the charges were still there.

No one rold me that the insurance for my trip was for EACH DAY! Bo one told me that information when I picked the truck up. It didnt say that online when I booked the truck and purchased the insurance. But AS SOON AS I dropped the truck of and the guy was checking the truck for return HE SAYS "YOU KNOW YOU ARE CHARGED EVERY DAY FOR THE INSURANCE" great, you tell me after I cant do shit about it

Upon return of the equipment, not one of the 5-6 gentlemen under the awning/return area greeted me when I pulled in nor did they let me know that the only person working in the equipment yard to hook up a trailer to another customer's vehicle would be the same person to check in my equipment, so for a few minutes, it seemed like the casual conversation of the group was more important than greeting the customer or advising that someone will be with you in a moment. Overall, it was a good experience. Just not a memorable one where the employee looks you in the eye and says, "Welcome back!" as if they had an awareness of the customer and appreciated their business, which makes their jobs possible and ultimately, pays their salaries and the shareholders.

All of the personnel were friendly, courteous. The person at the desk was extremely excellent. I changed vehicles since my last rental, and my old bar and hitch were obstructed by the spare tire mounted on the back. He immediately showed me the the right one with the best angle for the job. I purchased it. Overall great experience.

All personnel that I spoke with were extremely helpful. The problem I encountered was the online check-in. The truck was not at the location I was told to go to and then I had to go to another location for pick up. The online program showed that I checked in and picked up a truck at the first location. The online check in system is not user friendly or helpful when there is trouble. The personnel was extremely helpful and helped to ease the stress associated with the online system. The delays and headache associated with online system was not worth the trouble.

At pickup, the box was loaded on the trailer backwards. I would have been unable to open the door to unload. I received 10 furniture pads that I didnt use, but on arrival I was told there were 24 pads. Still only 10 in the box. Maybe dont put pads in the box unless customer asks. I was un aware that I had pads when I picked box up in Orlando, until I started to load it and they were in the way.

The assistant manager of this store was extremely unhelpful, and despite several calls before moving day, they did not have the equipment to deliver my Uboxes. The entire experience with this location was stressful and frustrating.

I tried to use the mobile app for pickup which was a mess, they seemed very unorganized, Low tire pressure light was on the entire time, they told me to bring the truck back on a full tank of gas even tho it was in between full line and quarter tank line . I didn't want to go back inside and stand in line. Nothing terrible but still sort of frustrating.

1st truck I was given was filthy and most scratches or dents were not marked on the truck or the picture. After the long process of covering my butt and taking many pictures of dents and scratches I got in to drive and the check engine light was on. Also, the 1st round of pics froze on the website and I had to start over. What a waste of time. The 2nd truck was so greasy/dirty that I couldn't even see the odometer or see out of the windows. I also had to spend WAY too much of my time taking pictures and covering my butt for the 3rd time. Then I went to check mileage and it said service Tire Monitor System on dash. The guy just pressed a button and that was it. He didn't explain it to me. I had to ask what he did. The employees all left at 8pm when it closed while I was still there checking the truck. Then I went to drive away and the tire pressure light was on. I tried to fill tire at a gas station but it only goes to 70psi and the tires were 80-85psi so I had to use the truck that way on the highway. I wasn't feeling safe. Also, the employee did give me $10 off my rental and said he cut my mileage cost to $0.39 to make up for the trouble. I appreciated that BUT when it was taken out of my account the $10 showed but the mileage was charged at $0.99. Hmmm. I hope this is an unusual case but I wouldn't go back.

The attendant was not friendly- he acted angry to have to repeat a question for me. Also he failed to disclose that if I dropped the rental truck off after hours that there would be a whopping $21 added fee. I dropped it off at 5:01 and actually gave the key to an attendant at the counter- and now I see I'm hit with this fee plus a rental tax, safe trip fee, whatever that is. So many hidden fees! Also the low tire pressure indicator was on as one of tires was low on air- when I picked it up-so I cannot say the vehicle was well maintained either. I am not a satisfied customer.

The current crew is excellent. I did complain about one staff person not wearing his mask and whistling as he walked towards me but I returned weekly for 3 weeks and never saw him again so maybe he's gone. In the Covid era it's never to safe. He wasn't speaking to me so he had no reason to whistle. I spoke to him under my mask but he never responded so I don't know his motives. All other staff was friendly and courteous not only to me but to other customers so that's a good thing.

I got there before closing was told that I couldn’t unload my U-Haul truck. Then i was promised someone would be there at 630 AM the next morning so I could unload my truck. The lady told me sje couldn’t find my reservation, so she took the time i could’ve been unloading the truck to find the reservation. She then tried to create a new one and told me I wasn’t charged until i showed her my banking app that showed the charge. A guy from the back (thank god) came out and had to show her how to use the software to find my reservation. He found where i had been charged and everything. Next morning i get there thinking all i needed was the black card she gave me, come to find out there’s a whole check in and check out process that she didn’t even tell me about. On top of all of that i was charged for a lock for the door. Then I speak with a new lady who’l told me we had access to our until until 10pm and that there shouldn’t have been an issue with us unloading the truck the night before when we got there before 7pm. Then I was told I couldn’t leave the U-Haul truck I rented from another LOCAL U-Haul Location because i didn’t get a certain type of U-Haul truck reservation and was told “i should’ve been told this when I made my reservation”. There were so many service failures within my experience that Indint plan on keeping my stuff with you all ever again.
