Javier AOn site customer service, Wesley, was not helpful in ensuring logistics for this truck were taken care of. Waited over an hour to get checked in. Truck was not ready to be hooked up to a tow dolley that they wanted me to take. Moving blankets were not included in the truck as promised.

The lady who took my the truck keys to checkout the truck at 7am has an an attitude and was rude when I asked her how long it would take to complete.
Norberto CTrailer rented to me with dry rotted tires. After two blowouts, causing me to spend over 6 hours on the side of the road waiting for service, U-Haul only offered me compensation of $281. Unbelievable that for dispatching a trailer where they were negligent in maintenance, I’m only being offered a portion of the rental back. Your negligence in maintenance caused damage to the contents of the trailer.

MARIA MThere is a thin piece of plywood what wasn’t even secured to the wall between units. I could pull it back and access the unit in front of me. I reported it to staff. They said they would fix it. How? They don’t have keys to my locks. It was still like that on move out. I also got shocked by the light switch in the hallway. The lights were out so I pushed the button. It shot sparks out and knocked me on my rear. I reported this to staff they acted like it was my fault. This is a horrible U-Haul that is unsafe and terribly run

Yvette JI have rented from U-Haul in the past and it was a great experience. This time was very different. The employee was dirty and unprofessional. He was eating greasy food while quoting incorrect prices checking us out. He quoted a completely different price than printed on the receipt, when asked he said he forgot to add all of the mileage. We checked availability of a one way truck online. It indicated one was available. When we tried to rent it, we were told we had to dive an hour one away to pick one up. The inside of the truck smelled like smoke and the steering wheel and door handle were greasy. It was not a good experience.

Santos ROnly complaint would be have a better outline of the drop off process. I had to ask 3 times if I needed to sign anything or do a walk around and the employee just kept saying leave the key in the door.
Gary WThe only issue was a tire pressure warning light that came on intermittently. I pulled over and all the tires looked fine. Upon closer examination I saw that there was a digital message on the dash to ‘service the tire pressure monitoring system,’ so I would check that. Other than that the vehicle ran great and got the job done e. Thank you.

Jodie CWhile making my reservation with U-Haul schedulers over the phone the scheduled me in the wrong location (100 miles away) and didn’t even fit the reservation equipment. Then once that was figured out they gave me two different drop off location for the truck and trailer I rented. Absolutely ridiculous and did not have a great experience with U-Haul scheduling and communication. The independent locations however were great and helped me out a lot.

TERRY MIt was an old truck but it worked. With my arthritis it was very hard to turn the key to start Also I asked for a dolly and was given an old flimsy and charged $7.00 . I didn't use it. Borrowed the neighbors.

raul GThis location is the only one I choose to use if I have the option. But this last rental was new for me. The young man I dealt with almost made me leave. He is the only person that I have ever seen at that location that didnt have a smile on his face and no customer service skills. I will go back but I will leave if it is necessary to be handled by him again. Unfortunately he wasnt wearing a name tag or his name would be in the report as well.

Jerry PLights don’t come on until you’re halfway down the corridor. They use the same reasons for increasing the rental price every year, but nothing has change. It’s literally the same email sent out with only the new price typed in. Not worth what they charge.

So what happens a dark skinned lady with curly hair comes and yells at me that “You Can’t Be Blocking The Hall Way Like That !! UHaul staffs at both facilities (dropoff and storage) on SPI DR highway were extremely helpful and understanding. They found ways to help us by providing us temperature controlled storages for our belongings for free. They were very helpful and nice. I have used UHaul before. These staffs went beyond to help us. Though we still walk - doing work while walking is best to keep distance short!! I was shown the map . Though it showed it on the corner & being the first “I didn’t think to take the entrance door into consideration! 2.Light inside the unit would help tremendously!! 3. Staff - Talk to each other! I set up storage. The staff lady said she’d leave the “ clicker under cabinet”due to my daughter & son in-law were driving in the 27ft U-Haul truck to drop off some items from out of town. When my daughter arrived first staff lady was not around & no one knew anything about it!! No clicker was given to her!! The following day I drove by there & the staff member looked under the counter & THERE IT WAS!! Mush easier to enter w truck! We will continue using U-Haul.we’re not done moving. Hopefully one more truck load! We’re learning as we go. It would help if staff were more in tuned to what a customer needs to make the moving easier & less stressful!

Took care of all of our needs, including walking to the back of the storage lot to make sure we found the right area for our rV and got it in properly. We mentioned to him that there was some garbage collecting at the back of the property, and when we returned a few days later, the whole back lot was clean and neat. Storage was easy; and returning the key fob was easy.

They didn’t have masks on when they arrived-despite a staff member having covid. Two teenagers with no experience or people skills. Our house looks like a bomb went off. Hoping we are not exposed to covid as one refused to wear his mask appropriately. Please fire Guardian Services. Very pleased with Uhaul and its staff. Move out paperwork was a breeze and they were soooo nice!!!!

Never could reach local store directly always had corporate even after calling local store.

I saw online available units and had Walked around seeing the storage unit first hand and when I went to speak to the u-haul sales person I was told they were a full capacity. But over all I did walk there the first time just to be told that. Then I just went home booked it online the lady recognizing said we're at full capacity, so I then told the other sales person my recipe and informed them online has them available. Just to inform them not to turn down potential income for the company they represent.

He spent too much time on the premises and not in the office helping customers and he told me that my storage unit was way in the back several buildings over and I walked there in the pouring rain while he drove the rental truck that I just rented so he would stay dry and he didn’t even offer me a ride in the rain. My storage unit was actually 300 feet from the front desk and inside and dry. He wasn’t aware of its location in the least but sent me on.a wet search and he wasn’t apologetic for his lack of knowledge or help while I got drenched, unnecessarily.

They gave me a payoff amount and said that when I pay this, my debt is paid. Months later, I received a notice saying that I still owed money. I went to talk to them, and the manager agreed that I was now in debt to Uhaul again. He said it was because I left a dresser in the unit. I told him that I did not have a vehicle large enough to remove the dresser. Also, when I paid my debt and was told I was clear, the manager at that time DID NOT say I had to remove every single item. I only left one item, the dresser. Now, the manager has put a lean against my name. This is wrong. I was told that I was in the clear. I do not feel I should have to pay this money when we signed saying I was out of debt.
