Please help your customers as to their needs for their move. If the rental does not go the way the customer originally booked the rental be nicer about it. If the customer says that they booked one way.. they booked one way. Then when your customer agrees to pay additional fees for a mistake they did NOT make just because your representative says there is NOTHING you can do to help NOT just TAKE money from their bank account until the day they agree upon to pay those extra fees. Not just say to YOU GAVE US AUTHORIZATION BECAUSE YOU RENTED FROM US TO TAKE ANY MONEY WHENEVER WE WANT TO. Then to INSULT your CUSTOMER by saying it wasn't debited from their account to pay for employee lunches. I am thoroughly disgusted with the representative you have working for you that answers calls for customers with questions about the charges.

We did drop off at a busy time of early evening, so I can't really complain about having to wait to find out where to put the 6x12 trailer (and space was tight). Everyone was friendly and fast!

My son tried to go online last night to drop after hours - I had gotten permission yesterday to return the transport back to where it css as me from. (Stephanie was great) - now we got charged another 83$

Not thoroughly honest people here. I was told the payment for the rental would be charged at the return of equipping (company I moved to was gonna cover the payment when I got there), but they charged me when I left. Caused quite a bit of a financial mess. Would have been better if they were honest up front. Other than that, not a bad experience.


I was totally dissatisfied on how a company could not refund me part of what I paid when the vehicle was only put through one days use. I know these are trying times but I can't believe a company like yours couldn't show compassion.

Four people in line ahead of me. Waited over an hour to be assisted. It was obvious the General Manager does not enjoy his job. We had rented a Uhaul and received a confirmation to pick up our truck at a different location. Our truck was not there, nor did we receive any notice that our truck would not be available from our CONFIRMED pick up location. Had to drive across town to pick up truck on SPID. Asked if we were going to be charged the extra miles that we had to go out of our way to pick up the truck and drop off (chose specific first location because that is where our storage unit was and we wanted to leave the truck at the unit when we were done). They said no, and that we were lucky that they had a truck available for us and that we didn't have to drive to Victoria to pick one up, because they are allowed to make us drive up to fifty miles to pick up a rental truck (AND be charged 99 cents per mile driving it back to Corpus Christi and then back to Victoria... no thank you). Overall, ridiculous and unprofessional. We have another move to make, but will most likely look into using a different company next time.


After l filled it up they said very rudely that it was not full and charged me $8 l couldnt fit anymore gas in it also l returned it 1 day early but was charged for 2 days very unfair practices

I have a billing problem and made dozens of attempts to contact manager by phone and email. He never returned my calls or emails. We are a state agency and were charged state sales tax. I was instructed to send the completed sales tax exemption form to the manager for correction. Nothing was done to resolve this. I have made numerous calls to the u-haul toll free number and only get a message that they are having issues and the computer disconnects my call. I have rented from this location several times over the years and this is the worst customer service I have ever received, including the last representative that finally came on the phone after being on hold for 25 minutes. I explained the problem. She replied she'd never heard of this and said she was transferring me to the 800 number where I was promptly disconnected. I am not happy with this and want to complain about the general manager's lack of response. I was given the name of Alex Garcia as the GM. He is a poor manager if he can't respond or delegate my request to another member of his team. I sincerely hope that someone from u-hal will contact me and help resolve this problem.

As I waited in line for over 30 minutes to be helped I noticed the “general manager” Alex was not very friendly and didn't acknowledge the other customers waiting in line. Mind you he was the only person there with a store full of people. Wait time was horrible. Customer service was...ok. Probably would visit another location but not come back to this one.

I returned the truck on Monday and it was never checked in, I went back Tuesday at noon to get a receipt for the return to find out this site was trying to rent out my truck that still had not been checked in. When I went to the UHAUL site there were 15 people in line and 1 person at the register it took 45 minutes to get to the register though there were several other employees that were coming in and out of the facility.

Alex is always working double time when we rent vehicles from you. As a manager he is the best I've met. You are lucky to have him.


The location is often crowded with no place to park. I couldn't easily Find where to park the van when I returned it. I tried to check in via the app and it failed. I tried to return the vehicle using the app. I did everything it said and left the keys in the Dropbox. Later that day I got a Message saying They couldn't find the keys. Of course it was after hours and I ended up spending 20+ minutes on hold to get a representative from a large Call center Just to give them my Phone Number and wait for them to call me back and claim they could t find the keys. They said they'd look again and call me back to let me know if they had found them. Now 12+ later they still haven't called. The way equipment was great, but the location is problematic.


Really friendly and helpful staff. I have not rented a van or truck in a long time and they made the whole experience less stressful. Thank you !

The Associate Who Helped me was not friendly at all (big guy). Spend majority of the time on his phone while assisting me. Not very Professional nor courteous. Seemed almost annoyed with minor questions I had. Not happy with the service.

This was not the location we originally rented from and confirmed with. This location was 10 miles from my home versus 4 miles from the original place we rented from. I should not have to pay the extra mileage I was charged to go to a location I was not originally confirmed with.
