Truck was not filled up with gas
cathey eI rent trailers or trucks fairly regularly from you guys at Uhaul- once a year or so. I’m not a HUGE customer but always come back:) very pleased you are always there. This trailer we got this time seemed to sit a little weird- compared to other Uhaul trailers I’ve hauled with this same truck. (And Uhaul installed the great hitch on this truck many years ago - I think in 2018.) Anyway- the trailer I rented pulled ok but was really slanted like aimed down in the back, like the trailer was more suited to a smaller vehicle with a lower ball. It made it quite easy to load stuff because we literally had to step up maybe 5 inches, but it kinda freaked me out to pull something aimed at the ground like that. Fortunately there are zero hills in route. Your Uhaul rep at pickup said it was normal, (as did the rep at the drop off.- said some of them are just like that.) It looked SO weird that people on the road thought we had a trailer problem! Honestly it pulled fine - and we did put everything to the front of it and strapped things in individually in hopes weight would level it better… but it changed nothing lol. We didn’t have anything heavy actually- just stuff from my college kid’s dorm. I planned to just carry it all in the bed of my pickup but the weather said Rain for DFW area… so I rented the Uhaul trailer, and my bed of the pickup went empty:) We parked for a snack at a Buccees and parked by two same sized Uhaul’s being pulled by same height pickup trucks- and theirs sat level- there is something messed up with the format of the hitch arm on the particular trailer I got. Next time I will ask for a better match for my truck. Anyway- the rep at the Corpus location was very fast and efficient. Convenient location too. No complaints really except wished for a better suited trailer that didn’t sit weird. It wasn’t super clean inside just some miscellaneous dusty dirt debris and a piece of trash stuffed into one of the inside rails. Nothing gross. Outside had a few minor dings/dents but it was no issue.

Bradford DWell all was a very good experience, but when I had a flat tire on the trailer, I called the location I rented the trailer from, Richard the team member I spoke to seemed to not really care that I had a blow out and kind of rushed me off the phone without concern. He simply said to scan a bar code, which I did not what he was talking about. Instead of expressing some concern, and help me through the process of having a flat tire on the trailer I rented he rushed me off the phone. I had to call the 1800 number in which Tiffany was very helpful and expressed care to our ordeal. Other then that everything was great !

EVAN WI ordered a truck for 04.07.2025 at 8 PM at Corsica in Corpus Christi. I tried to use your application to get a code to the key. U-Haul's application did not work. 3 different agents could not help me over the phone. I lost a lot of time a lot of nerves . I had to go in the morning to the different office to get a different truck. Nobody warned me that your application is defected and might not work. In my opinion I should get the whole truck rental for free,. I need official apology from the company. The company should have no right to use defected application. Agents helping clients should have a possibility to give a code to the key over the phone. Agent should warn clients, that application might not work. I was extremally upset trying for 2 hours in the evening to solve this problem. Total disaster U-Haul

CHRISTINA DI rented a 15' truck here to transport furniture from my property in Corpus Christi to my home in Houston, Texas. After picking up the truck, we found someone's phone under a seat. We called uhaul to let them know we have someone's phone and the response was "how are we supposed to know whose phone that is if you have it?" Despite this, we stated that we would return the phone to the S. Padre location. As we continued to load, at approximately 1:00pm, I received a call from an unidentified male at the S. Padre location. The first remark made in this conversation by this individual was a blunt: "When are you bringing the phone back?" It was at this point that I learned that the phone was uhaul phone that was accidentally left by a uhaul employee. I explained that we are still loading and we're in a time crunch so I was unsure. However, I stated that we are no more than 10mins from the S. Padre location and someone to come by and pick up the phone. Without hesitation I was told "No, that is against company policy". I find it hard to believe that it against uhaul policy to retrieve uhaul property lost by uhaul employees. At this point, frustrated, I informed this individual that I would not have time to return before departing to Houston. However, rather than taking the phone to a uhaul location in Houston, I would leave it in a mailbox at my property in Corpus Christi for them to retrieve. I provided the address to this individual. His last remarks were "I'll check with my supervisor and let you know what we can do". In response I simply stated, "You can do whatever want, this is me telling you that I'm leaving the phone in the mailbox at the address provided for someone to come and get." This whole exchange was unnecessary and rude. The pressure for a customer to fix a uhaul created problem was unprofessional. I won't be doing business with this location again.

Ms. Christi and her team in C.C. make everything easy for you from the moment you walk through the door. Whether you did it all on line, they got you covered. I also had stuff stored here for around 6 months and no issues whatsoever with my storage unit. Thank you all for your great service and if I am ever back in that area and need your services, I will surely go to U-Haul there on SPID!!!!

SIMON RI rented a 26 foot truck on Rigsby in San Antonio and the employee didn’t show me the inside of the truck just the outside so when we got to open up the doors there was a big gapping hole in the roof of the truck so I took pics of it so they wouldn’t think I did it but low and behold when I got to my drop off they accused me of putting the hole in the roof and it was like that when we picked it up bad stvrc

WILLIAM SVery long hold times. I needed a charge removed and the manager assured me he'd do It Later. The next day I saw that was not removed so I called that location and was put on hold, Again for a very long time. My call was transferred to a customer service representative from a call center, that person informed me that the manager still had not removed the charge and had left for the day. I don't have any confidence that it will ever get resolved.

RAMIRO RI was disappointed that I was scheduled for a drop off in the morning and because I missed the drop off time by a few hours, I was charged a whole nother day including insurance on the trailer. If I had known I had a drop off time for in the morning I would've inquired to change it.
WILLIAM SWhen returning equipment, very long wait before trailer someone came to unhook and check in trailer. Even telephonic customer service representative had a long wait before being able to reach someone at the location.
Brent DTrailer was dirty with caked up clay soil. I had to clean it up before hauling my motorcycle which would have been sand blasted by the dirt. Not a big deal, but they switched trailers because the one I was supposed to get was dirty. They should be clean upon return it would seem.

LYDIA GI rented a dolly a week in advance and they just looked at me and said we don't have one then looked away.
Roman CWe had to use this location because the location of our original reservation was closed and no one could even be reached by phone. That location was Move-It Storage in Corpus Christi, Tx. This resulted in over an hour in the phone with customer service and 2 $595 charges on our credit cards, not to mention the incredible stress. We had to get a truck with a trailer, which was stressful to drive. I’d like to file a complaint regarding Move-It Storage.

MARIA GI was provided with a truck, that was very old and had poor pick up. The truck was provided with less that have a half of tank of gas, i went 25 mile put in 5 dollars of gas and was told gas was not where it was supposed to be and was charge an additional $25 for 6 gallons of gas, I didn't even use 6 gallons of gas, this was very unfair and I will think twice about using this location again. SHAWN KUpon my arrival, a Uhual team member decided to argue with me about where I am not allowed to park my truck. I explained that I was picking up a trailer and wouldn't be long. Mind you, I parked in a normal non-marked parking slot.Yet the team member continued to argue and insist I move my truck. Upon entering the location, I would say the front desk personnel were helpful but far from friendly. Overall, I would not recommend others visiting this location.

So what happens a dark skinned lady with curly hair comes and yells at me that “You Can’t Be Blocking The Hall Way Like That !! UHaul staffs at both facilities (dropoff and storage) on SPI DR highway were extremely helpful and understanding. Though we still walk - doing work while walking is best to keep distance short!! I was shown the map . Though it showed it on the corner & being the first “I didn’t think to take the entrance door into consideration! 2.Light inside the unit would help tremendously!! 3. Staff - Talk to each other! I set up storage. The staff lady said she’d leave the “ clicker under cabinet”due to my daughter & son in-law were driving in the 27ft U-Haul truck to drop off some items from out of town. When my daughter arrived first staff lady was not around & no one knew anything about it!! No clicker was given to her!! The following day I drove by there & the staff member looked under the counter & THERE IT WAS!! Mush easier to enter w truck! We will continue using U-Haul.we’re not done moving. Hopefully one more truck load! We’re learning as we go. It would help if staff were more in tuned to what a customer needs to make the moving easier & less stressful!

Took care of all of our needs, including walking to the back of the storage lot to make sure we found the right area for our rV and got it in properly. We mentioned to him that there was some garbage collecting at the back of the property, and when we returned a few days later, the whole back lot was clean and neat. Storage was easy; and returning the key fob was easy.

They didn’t have masks on when they arrived-despite a staff member having covid. Two teenagers with no experience or people skills. Our house looks like a bomb went off. Hoping we are not exposed to covid as one refused to wear his mask appropriately. Please fire Guardian Services. Very pleased with Uhaul and its staff. Move out paperwork was a breeze and they were soooo nice!!!!

The late fees and lien threats were obnoxious when each week I called I was told the account was closed and owed nothing to just get larger late fees the following week. Never could reach local store directly always had corporate even after calling local store.

I saw online available units and had Walked around seeing the storage unit first hand and when I went to speak to the u-haul sales person I was told they were a full capacity. But over all I did walk there the first time just to be told that. Then I just went home booked it online the lady recognizing said we're at full capacity, so I then told the other sales person my recipe and informed them online has them available. Just to inform them not to turn down potential income for the company they represent.

He spent too much time on the premises and not in the office helping customers and he told me that my storage unit was way in the back several buildings over and I walked there in the pouring rain while he drove the rental truck that I just rented so he would stay dry and he didn’t even offer me a ride in the rain. My storage unit was actually 300 feet from the front desk and inside and dry. He wasn’t aware of its location in the least but sent me on.a wet search and he wasn’t apologetic for his lack of knowledge or help while I got drenched, unnecessarily.

They gave me a payoff amount and said that when I pay this, my debt is paid. Months later, I received a notice saying that I still owed money. I went to talk to them, and the manager agreed that I was now in debt to Uhaul again. He said it was because I left a dresser in the unit. I told him that I did not have a vehicle large enough to remove the dresser. Also, when I paid my debt and was told I was clear, the manager at that time DID NOT say I had to remove every single item. I only left one item, the dresser. Now, the manager has put a lean against my name. This is wrong. I was told that I was in the clear. I do not feel I should have to pay this money when we signed saying I was out of debt.
