The original location I was supposed to pick up the truck from was closed and even though I selected mobile pickup, when I went to location to check in there was some sort of message about I needed to get the key hand delivery but the location was closed. After I called customer service I ended up having to drive about 12-15 miles one way to another uhaul location that was open. So I ended up paying for additional miles that I would not have if I could have picked up from where I first booked the mobile pickup and I missed my time frame to use the freight elevator for loading. It took about 2 hours for me to get a new uhaul and drive all the way home. Totally inconvenienced. Makes me skeptical to rent from uhaul again because I'm not for sure if rentals I reserve will be available to pickup when I arrive.Stephanie C.

I reserved a truck from one location because I didn't want to go over my miles. They didn't care!!! I was told when reserving the truck I had 253 free miles. That was a lie!!! It's only 100â€¦ the chick who set it up told me and that really stressed me out because I was being forced to leave where I was aches didn't have much funds at the last minute.kimberly G.

On like monday or tuesday, I reserved a 26 inch truck ahead of time, so they could have it by the time I got there. When I got there today, I was told they didn't have reservation. Then, I showed the person my email and said they had my name just no reservation. Next, i told the person about the 26 inch truck and he told me all those were reserved already. How much time in advance are people allowed to reserve? Asking because i thought since i reserved it ahead of time that they were going to honor it, but I got there and was told i didn't reserved and i did. They were able to get me a 15 inch truck, but I wouldve appreciated more if I had gotten the 26 inch i reserved .Felix M.

Truck was dirty inside and out (the windshield was covered in bug splatter), gas tank left on empty, the passenger mirror spun prompting an immediate call to roadside assistance to fix, and zero explanation on how to use the truck (safety features, when to use tow setting, etc). When customers make reservations please make sure all equipments are working.. I had a move going to Houston truck & mobile transport reserved.. my day of pick up the mobile transport was not working & the other two were broken as well which caused delay. Had issues with credit card being charged twice . Which caused another issue now I had money reversed back to my card card recharged which tired up money had to go to another location to pickup mobile transport which I had to pay an additional fee for that rental it was a totally stressful devastating moving process this weekend and the manager that help me that morning was very unprofessional discussing personal business in front of customers and apparently not very knowledgeable about job when certain issues occur..Terrah G.

Initially I had order No 21665510 booked for 9am pickup at your Grand Prairie location. I arrived to find there was no truck available - the staff were rude and simply told me to take it up with U Haul. I went to U Haul O'Connor st Irving address where this booking was made and complained. The lady there got me talking to a lady in U Haul management who was very helpful and obliging. She found and secured a truck at Westmoreland Rd and I went there to get it. The lady also said I would get a $50 credit for the trouble U Haul caused me. I paid $71.12 fee at Westmoreland and was told the $50 credit would appear in 3 to 5 days. I used the truck and delivered it back a few minutes after 10pm - I phoned Westmoreland and told them I would not get the truck back until around 10pm - they noted this I refilled the truck with fuel to get the gauge back to where it was when I picked up. I tried to follow your on-line process before placing the keys in the drop box - it appears I did not do this correctly. I have a photo on my phone showing the drop box and the time a few minutes after 10pm U Haul has charged me another $106.78 - when I phoned Westmoreland to complain they said take it up with Management - I tried phoning and was told the wait time was over an hour This is why I am saying your service is extremely poor I am demanding an immediate refund of the $107.78 charged yesterday plus confirmation I will receive the $50 credit I am majorly pissed off with all of this and will get my Attorney involved unless I receive a satisfactory and prompt reply from youCedric H.

Coming to this location was the highlight of my day! The entire staff was amazing!! Everyone we spoke to was helpful and extremely knowledgeable! This is the BEST customer service I've ever had at a u-haul EVER!!! They explained everything about our purchase, gave us helpful tips, and gave us very good and detailed instructions and best practices! I appreciate each person and representative that was there on a busy Saturday! They quickly and easily helped about 5-6 people while we were there, we arrived at the end of the line and it took less than 10 minutes for us to get to the front of the line. My dolly was not in stock. That's a major issue when you're planning a move (I was moving a piano). It cost me extra money to buy that, and I was 30 minutes delayed, which I had to pay movers for. On top of that, the staff was not helpful. They didn't try to offer me any additional solutions to the problem, they were bad at communication, and generally unprofessional (all we're eating lunch at the desk, and it wasn't clear who was talking to me). You should close this storage facility. It was sank, wetness everywhere, impossible to unload a trailer and walk the entire distance including stairs to 2nd story. I was member able to move in.
