Quick and easy

Susan C.The only issue I had was wirh one of the employees who always parked her car in the back of the building where she worked in the shop. She was always blocking access to people who had storage units who were trying to either bring items in or out of storage. I had to tell her and staff several times to move her vehicle over the course of a couple of weeks. She still didn't listen. I brought it to Management's attention and the issue still going on she needs to move it or she needs to be fired. She's blocking customers from safely accessing and bringing in storage unit items.
Steve L. | Overall ExperienceI dropped my truck off 1.5 hours after receiving it. Again the app was a pain in the ass. In the pouring rain I had to take my pictures twice. The first patch just disappeared. ARGH! I couldn't find the drop off place for the keys. You'd think it would be clearly marked. I had enough of the rain and finally found a slot by the door, no verbiage by it, and dropped my keys there. I figured someone would find them.

Richard G.Not rent the truck with 1/4 tank of fuel. This is the second time in a row I've rented a truck and had to immediately fuel it up. Truck should come full of fuel making it easier to refill when done.

With a chaotic forced move due to flood damage, everyone was consistent and helpful. Janny in particular went way above and beyond to make sure everything was exactly as we needed, even handling last minute changes for us pleasantly and compassionately.
keegan M.I have used Uhaul for years at this location and have a couple of storage units. The location is understaffed. Personnel are hard workers but there's not enough people to work. When I rented the 15-ft truck yesterday when I checked it out, the contract said there was a half a tank. This was accurate. There was only 3/8 of a tank. I never received my receipt via email and there was also damage on the vehicle that was not listed. I recommend people start paying attention to detail so not to charge customers unfair charges that were not incurred by them.

Richard C.Truck was clean but obviously well used. The truck had a bad vibration going down the road which had I not been pressed for time to get the job done I would have returned the truck. Installing a hand truck and blankets in the rear door opening made it difficult to load large items and to move them would have incurred a fee.

azeem M.Staff were friendly and polite. Vehicle was satisfactory. Issue was with billing. They charged me $23 for gas when I had the vehicle for less than an hour and drove 8 miles. I had to call the Uhaul customer service # to point out that I submitted a photo disputing the gas level when I did the vehicle checkout. Once they saw that they credited it back. Common sense would have assumed the vehicle didn't use 4 gallons of fuel in the 8 miles it was used.

Not all dealers are as well run as this one is in South Willow St - As a suggestion also , older u hails thag are in service need some tlc - like paint the wheeels and bumpers so the truck looks presentable when used for a business purpose —

I have come across very few people with the multitask hability to handle all personnel sharply and on point, and still makes time to go the extra mile for a customer. I am assuming he has military experience.

He hooked it up and got us all set to go. He could not have been more positive and nice. Around closing time, we pulled back in the lot. He was there. Once again, he could not have been more pleasant and positive. He unhoked our trailer and sent us on our way, Best rental experience ever!!!!!

Michael V.Overall it was excellent, the only thing that needs improvement is the check -in and check-out (in person) process, it is too slow, not enough front desk people to deal with multiple customers at once. Perhaps an area for people to sit down and have a coffee or cold drink while they wait, would make up for the extra time.

The staff was annoyed that I was having issues getting into the building but then realized that the problem was not with me but with the door. They did not want us to prop the door in spite of the fact that I would not be able to reopen it with the key once it was closed, causing extreme problems with getting my items from my truck to my unit. I also thought what I was renting was accessible from the street, however I had to go into a building and use carts to move my belongings in.

Was sent to a different location to find out for myself if they had a bigger storage unit, which after waiting in line another 45 minutes, found out they do not. I was accused of leaving trash at the location, and they would not give me a refund until she took her sweet time to watch the camera. Finally she came back and told the guy helping me that I could get a refund because the trash was left there the night before. It was the worst experience that I've ever had with any business, and I will never come back! I left out alot, but the whole experience was unreal!

robert m. | Overall ExperienceAfter almost 2 years of using this unit, over $4,000 spent on rent, for a CLIMATE CONTROLLED unit, I came back from my military duty to my stuff destroyed, anything cloth was moldy, anything metal had rust or other forms of water damage. The storage building had a leak in the roof over the past year, the roof was replaced, but I was NOT notified, no text, email, or call, to let me know all of my stuff was in water, and my CLIMATE CONTROLLED unit was no longer controlling humidity. This was unprofessional, irresponsible, and downright negligent. Roughly $2,000 in damage came from a simple lack of effort on their part, and then was told that without their insurance on the unit, it’s not their problem, but that the regional manager would be calling me to discuss it, and have not received anything. Again, their lack of communication showing how unprofessional and irresponsible they are for their facility. I will recommend everyone that I know to go somewhere else, and not waste their money to have their stuff destroyed.
