The guy who came out to tell us about storage was polite and friendly. The directions on how to get to unit was confusing. I got lost and I’m a math and science teacher. Need to be more clear. Maybe you should highlight for customer and explain more in detailed. I felt rushed with the directions on how to navigate how to get to room. Suggestion #2- When you walk in initially there is a girl that does not check in or out. So she informs you someone will be with you. The wait for some one was to long. The first person that we see was Tiffany Bennett. She look super tired She didn’t say hello, welcome. Her greeting was none existent. She was very unpleasant. I can understand her demeanor since she was outside in 100 degree weather. Anyway we deserve great customer service. The only reason she began to be nice is when she realizes we return van at wrong location and she didn’t have to do any work. When I made the reservation I chose the flex drop off location for a $40 discount and included 49 free miles. I tried to pay online, but the site did not work. I paid at pick up with the same info, but did not receive the $40 discount and the included mileage changed to 32 miles.I dropped off next day when the store opened and was told to put the keys in the drop off box buy the store employee at that drop off location. I was charged $20 for drop off & $9 for mileage ( still under the original 49 miles ). So in all I was charged $69 more than the reservation quote.jon K.

Due to the tree coverage the trailer had a good amount of debris inside the trailer. During after hours night drop off several parking lot lights were not working causing the area where the trailers were located to be extremely dark and dangerous. This puts uhaul at risk for lawsuits if someone is the victim of a crime as a result of low lighting.MERLIN G.

When I opened the uhaul, I saw 3 cockroaches run and ended up killing 12. Due to the fact that I had prepaid for my movers and they arrived 15 mins after I got the truck, I couldn't change out the truck. I had to drive 16 hours from FL to IL with cockroaches in the back and while unpacking I found some in my things. Additionally, no one has reached out to me about the issue after calling customer service twice.Alyson M.

They put the wrong keys in the lock box for the self checkin so I had to go in store anyways. When I did the process through the app it messed up my bill COMPLETELY. It charged me for 2 days when I had the truck 6 hours. It charged me for gas, though I refilled up the entire tank. It also charged me for 80 miles though I went 40 miles. When you enter in the miles on the app it didnt save, it has you take a photo too but the CS rep claimed she couldnt tell what it said because it was "blurry" I called the location and the guy who I originally spoke with to let him know I was dropping it off that night and not at 1pm was EXTREMELY RUDE. The worst customer service I EVER experience in my life. I called him to discuss the bill and he said I need to pay more attention when Im using the app. I tried to explain it to him and he said the contract and the app matched up which isnt true because the app has you take photos which clearly showed I put gas in the tank and clearly showed the miles were wrong. I dont know if the app was off because of the key switch up and maybe it was supposed to be another truck. He basically said I was stupid and didnt know how to use the app. He wouldnt help me at all. Started raising his voice and wouldnt even try to look at the photos and what I was talking about. He transferred me to CS and they "refunded" the gas and the extra day yet my Credit Card still shows $280 or something. When It should be $100. I will NEVER use uhaul or this location ever again.Breanne B.

Staff the store. At 7:00 am on Monday, May 10th, there was only one employee on site. I had a appointment to have a wiring harness installed and reserved. U-Haul agent August Ewing swiftly managed confirming inventory of my requested equipment, writing up the contract, hooking up the trailer and getting me on my way. I disagree with the gasoline charge that was made to me since when I received the truck the needle did not mark 1/2 tank and when I delivered it I left it in 1/2 tank and the employee who received it billed me $ 6.38 because he said that the needle wasn't in the middle of the tank ... I have the photo of the day I picked up the truck. I showed the photo to the employee and he told me that he was going to honor the gasoline and he did not.Tomas R.

The gentle who helped me was wonderful, very nice and quick at helping me. Same thing for when I returned the trailer, what I am NOT happy about is the 40 minutes I had to wait to even be helped. You need to hire more people!! This isn't fair to the employees who are hustling around and getting verbal abused but people!!! There was someone just sitting in the office and the line just kept growing. The two employees there were doing the absolute best they could and very nice even when someone was being RUDE to them. A third person to run the counter would have been nice. This is not a fast check in and run kind of place. I will give this location one more shot but if management does not help these poor employees out I will be forced to go someone where it is recognized that time is important. Experience was fine--until on 8/18/2020 my credit card was charged $212.60 (an additional month's storage) two days AFTER the unit was emptied, cleaned out, and a face-to-face return to inventory completed at the front office. Today is 8/24/2020 and yet, after a second face-to-face office visit, I'm still waiting for a full credit/charge back to my card--a process that takes less than 5 minutes. A billing error is understandable, but failure to provide a prompt refund is intolerable.
