And go over the type of uhaul we purchased online to make sure we are getting the right one. Those reps can't help with the plastic tote box rental since those are specific to location. Maybe work on how that can be integrated so they can help if I can't get someone local on the phone. At the beginning, I was trying to return the tow dolly and extend my rental on the truck for one week, I was told this was no problem just go into the store and it would be $40 a day. Well, a young man African-American was helping but also taking care of a customer. While patiently waiting Ms. GABBY Scoville, decided she would step in and help me. I told her what I wanted and off top she said you can't separate the tow from truck you have to extend all no exceptions. So ok I tell her I need to extend til 24th. She says we can I have someone booked for Sunday at 1. So as I try to speak with her about the situation, She tells me that she can put that inconvenience that family to accommodate me. I felt appalled because you treating me as if the 279 I just spend don't mean anything or the 250 more I trying to give. So I went and unloaded the whole truck in 2 hrs and brought it back a day early. Mr. Herb Hall was very helpful due to the circumstances.Eric W.

I have rented from other locations and had absolutely not problems. This was supposedly the corporate office and the level of service was awful. I just received the bill that stated that I was charged $7 for a utility dolly and $10 for an appliance dolly. My reservation # 21384898 shows neither was dolly requested. It wasn't the staff i absolutely love Jacob. It was the truck it was kinda raggedy , it kept yanking when i stopped on brakes. It's also a compartment in the truck that my phone got stuck in i had almost take the front of the truck apart to get it out. I broke my Pandora bracelet trying to get my phone out, which my mom gave me that bracelet so i was very disappointed with that. When I picked up the truck I advised the young man that the truck sounded very rough running. He indicated that this truck was next up in the inventory. I told him that it might not make it back because of the way it sounded. Sure enough the started to rattle and seemed not to shift properly. Additionally the checked engine light came on.( I do not fault the young man who rented me the truck I fault management and whoever kept this truck in inventory) I call the Mt Zion location and asked to speak to the Manager, Jeremiah) His wife told me that he could not speak to me and to call Roadside assistance. Finally for fear for my safety,I had to abandon the truck. However I was still charge for gas because the tank was low when they picked it up. How could I speak gas in the truck when it seemed it would break down any moment? Overall this was the worst experience I have ever had with Uhaul.NATHANIEL S.

After leaving the Forest Park location which was a AWFUL experience the Morrow location was a breath of fresh air. Justice waited on me and was too pleasant. The Forest Park location was a totally different feel. I had reserved a storage unit but the young lady at the Tara blvd location put in the wrong date in(7/21 instead of (7/25). She advised me to call and change the date or go on line. After MANY attempts to call with no answer the location closed. I then changed it on line. When I went in on (7/22) I was informed the unit was rented YESTERDAY!! He said it was because I didn't call (which they don't answer the phone) plus (7/21) was not even over! Justice at the Morrow location was so friendly and helpful and changed my experience from the totally chaos I experienced at a whole other location. Jacob, the assistant manager, assured my U-boxes would be dropped for access on Saturday, July 17th by 8am. We spoke in-person on Monday, July 12th about dropping and accessing the boxes. When I arrived to UHaul on Mt. Zion the boxes had not been dropped for access. I was informed by Justice that the boxes wouldn’t be dropped that day. The Caucasian employee stated that Jacob was only an assistant manager and couldn’t schedule for a U-box to be dropped. After two hours of Justice making phone calls, she said that they could be dropped on Sunday, July 18th by 9am. On Sunday, July 18th I arrived at the location at 9:05am to my surprise employees in the back and a line of customers in front. It is 9:23am and the location is closed. The staff was nice and courteous however, I reserved a unit at another location. Upon my arrival to my location of choice, I was told the storage unit was not available and booked a unit at another location. Once I got the other storage location to check in and get my access card, the unit that was given to me was apparently a “ghost” unit and had a lock on it. So I then had to get another storage unit which was very inconvenient and too timely due to internal systems that were of no fault of the employees working. The only thing i didnt like is that they close the storage early, and some people come late from work and we cant get there on time to get something out of the storage.
