I rented a pick up truck for 4 hours. Returned the truck 20 minutes early. The young man asked if I wanted a print out of my receipt. I asked him to email it. I had to call back the next day for my receipt! Now I'm still waiting for Uhaul to refund my money , it's been 3 days now!Valencia J.

The agent was NOT at all attentive. Whatever he was listening to was so loud that you could hear it from his Bluetooth earpiece. He acted uninterested. I felt like I was more of a bother/nuisance to him than a valued customer. He also assured me that the $100 deposit that was taken from my account would be reversed BACK to my account up on the return of the vehicle. I rushed back to do so, knowing ahead of time that I needed that money to rent my hotel room. When I returned, 7 minutes AHEAD of SCHEDULED CLOSING TIME, the door was locked upon arrival and while I was standing there outside of the LOCKED DOOR, the lights inside were being turned off one by one. No one in sight at all. I still have not received the $100 deposit and did not enjoy being embarrassed my happy to sleep on an acquaintance's couch that night.Kierstian A.
The staff was super friendly and helpful. They helped us upgrade to a larger unit because the one we reserved was about half the size we actually needed and they showed us exactly where the unit was and ga e us some tips on how to keep our things safe. On the other hand, we got charged $180 for the extra 2 days we requested for the use of the truck. We were told it would be $40 a day. Still not sure how $40x2=$180 but hey, U-Haul, right?Te'Keyah D.

We actually rented to pick up from a local to us / different location but were sent to this one since the one close to us didn't end up having a unit. U haul online, nor in person at this location, were able to put in the address we were moving our items to (Helen, GA) OR pull up U haul locations near there (Cleveland, GA) for us to conveniently return the unit without going over in allowed mileage. We did get them to give us an extra 15 miles for the distance we picked it up at vs where we were supposed to which was right near our storage unit in Stockbridge GA. If we had to have returned it to the suggested U-haul location we would have went way over on mileage. We've rented and returned to Cleveland, GA before so unsure why there was issue this go round to return to that city but took a chance and showed up at one we knew of and had no issue with the return.Robin W.

As I stated: overall above average, but service was slow apparently due to staffing and extremely slow response time from your system and even the associated printer. There were only 2-3 customers when I was there. Glad it was not more busy. Although pre registered, it took 30 minutes to pick up the truck I had rented. One time when I called in, the response was â€œthanks for calling, please hold, there are three customers ahead of you.â€ I actually hung up after waiting a long time and drove in to make the reservation in person. Equipment and people are excellent; systems and service too slow!Carlton P.
My credit card was charged $12.00 for gas fill up inspite of my filling gas to the level I was handed over when taking the vehicle . This is not acceptable. My rental truck was pass empty. The tire sensor light was on and no window knob. I had a 7:00am pick up there store was late opening it was almost 8:00a before I could leave. Most of only the worker who checked the tires outside was the only person to apologized. I was late meeting my movers. After returning the truck with the tire sensor still on I was told the tire was fine the light didn't work. Truck I rented gas â›½ was empty truck Continue to shut off we had to jump the battery twice we returned the truck and another truck was unavailable so we were unable to move rented another truck the next day and they had no trucks available we ended up in a cargo van trying to move a 3bedroom house 😪 totally inconvenient we ended up renting from another company and will never use UHaul againPhyllis T.

Don't lie to the customer! We were told to check the mileage and gas against the contract. When we advised them the gas was wrong they took the contract, went inside the building and came back out a few minutes later. They highlighted the new gas amount on the original contract and stated that they updated it in the system. Later that day when we returned the vehicle we were charged for gas that was never in the vehicle because the rep never changed it in the system as they stated.Seth W.

It would have been excellent had there been one -way trucks and hitches to pull my car. Unfortunately I had go to different locations and still wasn't able to pull my car. So I have to figure out a way to get back to Atlanta and bring my car back.
