The girl who helped me was very easily flustered and distracted and kept putting other customers in front of me that had been there less time than me. It took an hour from the time I got there to when I was finally able to unload my moving pod in to the storage space.

The constant calls and poor consideration during a time when our country was in crisis. Even after I was told my personal items were auctioned off, you continued your calls. I will not seek storage with your location EVER again. You should not be allowed to treat people as poorly as you treated me. Good luck and God bless!

No one called me by 6pm the day before to confirm my rental. I had to initiate the call and was able to get confirmation and also they confirmed I could pick up truck prior to store opening. I arrived the next day early (before store opened) but the 'remote' process did not work. Even though there were employees on site, I was told they couldn't help me so I was on the phone for 45 minutes trying to get the remove code for the box with the key. VERY FRUSTRATING

My trailer was not available for pick up at the scheduled time. The staff found One at an alternate Location. I was terribly inconvenienced but the staff were great in helping me. Only thing, why did they wait until I was there at 6:30 pm before trying to contact the person who had the trailer? Should have been proactive.

Your General Manager was one of the rudest, most abrupt sales personnel I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with in a retail or service capacity. The gentleman who checked in the vehicle was nice. I also checked 24-hour rental when I made the 10 a.m. reservation for yesterday, yet I was forced to bring it back by 8 a.m. this morning. I will never use this location again!

Don't let a customer extend a reservation when another reservation immediately follows them returning it. It makes no sense to do that, and then not let you know the truck is not available before making the drive to pick it up. This has made it very clear this company is poorly ran and is unable to provide guaranteed reservations. Proceed with caution because your "moving day" may fall through because this place is ill equipped to handle would I would think to be a common occurrence. I am done with U-Haul.

Gas lid meant check engine light was on the whole trip. How can you not have a replacement gas camp at a large U-Haul rental center? Confirmed with the location via phone that was the issue, but if you can't replace a gas cap are you maintaining the vehicles properly?

The place we were supposed to take it to on Country Park.. awful.. We called to see what time they opened. 9:30. Took truck there at 10. Closed. No note on door. Called 800 number and they said they would call someone to come up. 20 or 30 mins later we called back. They called for someone to come up. Told them there were other waiting too. No one ever showed up to check the truck in. We found the one on summer and took it there

I called the morning of return to ask if I could bring the truck back at 3 pm and they said that was fine. Because of this, I was charged an additional $43!!! Had I known that, I would have made arrangements to bring it in at 9. This was really frustrating since I had called to find out! I was told “yeah you can bring it back at 3!” No mention of being charged more! The checkout girl said,” well it was in your contract!” , Very rudely .

HI, I recently rented a 26 truck. It was reserved for 10:30am October 16, 2020. I went to the summer location for pick up and the system was very slow. Turns out it was nationwide and all together the system shut down. After almost an hour of waiting at that location, I finally asked the girl at the desk if they would call me when the system is up and running again, she replied yes she would. So a few hours went by and I haven't heard anything. I decided to call them instead. A female answered the phone and I asked if the system was back up. She said yes, but it's slow. I asked if I could come get my truck that I had reserved and she nonchalantly replied yeah! So I drive back down to the store and it was a long line and I waited again. So after a while the girl I originally talked to had me to go online to uhaul.com/share and fill out information, go outside to find the truck and then continue to wait for a response. My pick up time now was for 2:45pm which I still didnt get the truck til after 3pm and they tell me to have it back by 830pm WHICH WAS NOT GONNA HAPPEN!!! I told her we were already pressed for time at this point because my husband had to work. Now it is October 17th and I get an early morning phone call asking when I was bringing the truck back and I told that same girl that idk because my husband is still at work and I have to get the rest of the stuff off. I cant do it by myself!! She responds by telling me that somebody has the truck reserved for 830am and I need to have it back. I told her that it's no way possible to have the truck back by that time and if the system wasnt down, the truck would've been back and it should've been a backup plan so it not my fault. She said I could've turned it in overnight. Anywho, I have had SO MANY ISSUES with this SAME LOCATION everytime I have to rent from them. They charge me for extra days when they only give u 5-6 hours to use the truck. THAT IS NOT EVEN A DAY!!! I will NEVER rent from them again. HOME DEPOT is way better. That summer location needs to have a meeting about customer service and they definitely need to work on their attitudes because they are very unprofessional and that's bad business!!! And to top it all off, they charged me for using furniture pads that we didnt even use. Broken glass was all in the back of the truck as well. They do not check rental equipment when customers return them!!! Shady people. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL!!!

I returned the vehicle after hours. Parking a large vehicle in limited space was somewhat challenging. There were about four trucks being returned around the same time. Also, it would be very helpful to have a picture or some message that says exactly where the key return is (at night it is hard to see). Thank you! Overall, I am thankful for the opportunity to rent with U-Haul!

The customer service was commendable But uhaul needs to upgrade the computer system there. It was slow beyond the point of inconvenience. One hour is too long to wait for checking out. An yet the workers remained polite and apologized for the inconvenience; keeping everyone from being annoyed while they waited. Great crew!!!

Very rude and stabs offish. I had my dad tell them I was getting gas and I'd be there. They could see me across the street. I arrived at 5 right as they closed. They turned off the lights immediately and was arguing with someone inside as they were kicking him out because it was closing time. I asked several times where the key drop was and got no clear answer. They made me use the online truck drop off instead of helping me for a few minutes and rushed out if the store. Honestly, really shitty people in this store.

The man who brought the TRUCK up was seemingly just trying to get rid of the truck. HE told me to take a video and PICTURES AND keep it for my insurance agent. The desk woman did not review the process for documenting the condition of the truck. Not one word. The truck was dirty no Covid 19 Cleaning. I used 5 lysol wipes to clean it and It was filthy. Scary... I also tried calling that office and sat on hold for 30 minutes. Finally I was not told that I would receive an email to document the condition AND BY the time I finally got to my computer the link had expired. HAD I KNOWN, I WOULD hAVE STOPPED TO COMPLETE IT. BETTER COMMUNICATION NEEDED AS A STANDARD THERE IS MY SUGGESTION.

Fresh blood stains inside and on footrest, looked like fresh meat had been transported but didn't clean before renting. During the return, they trying to claim from me but luckily I already took pictures before took the vehicle. I had no option left to complain because of vehicle shortages. U-haul sent me about 14 miles away from the location I booked the truck from. Next time I may avoid U-haul and go for other options because this was my 2nd worst experience with the same location.

Overall our experience with uhaul was okay! Truck drove like it was in bad condition, and my partner accidentally left his wallet in truck and employee stole money out of it. So that definitely sucks.

Better customer service rep had an attitude also swiped my card more then seven times because the card reader was not functioning was there more then 45 min and also maria your rep was adding extra things i didnt need and also the truck that they gave me had verey bad wheel alignment and barely even pick up speed i was verey dissapointed and your other location on hwy 64 and appling was also bad will not refer to any one till u have better trained employees if they dont like there job they should be replaced im sorry but i will not do any more business with your company and also will leave a review on both locations.

Was way over charged!! Will never do u-haul again. Three hundred plus for 7 hrs rental in town. Was charged 20 gallons of fuel for a 100 miles. Very disappointed, myself and my company rent u-haul all across the country all the time. Not anymore, will start using penske from now on.

Girl at the point of sale was efficent but didn't seem to care whether or not I was there. Although I have an online account and have rented from UHaul a number of times, she insisted that I give a contact not on site. My wife would qualify because she was in my truck which was in the parking lot! I own my company (busines use) but had to give the name of an employee--who she wasn't able to contact. She proceeded with the rental nevertheless, in a rather perfunctory manner. Why didn't she do that in the first place? It would have saved my time. The guy who connected the trailer was stellar! Wish I'd gotten his name. He was personable and went above and beyond. He's the main reason for the high rating.

Tell people that you can rent after hours and not have them rush to get the truck back before closing Time. I called and asked what will happen and got smart mouthed by probably some new worker asking why I need more time and why I didn't inform the rental person ahead of time. Stop charging for extra days when a customer only has a truck for 6 hours and the reservation was for 8!!! And since it was like that, I was double charged because the truck was returned after hours. I mean people are moving and it definitely takes time to move!!!

Got to the equipment return area, no one there. Go inside and 3 employees are just sitting around doing nothing while 2 other people are in line and only 1 UHaul employee is helping guests. After several minutes, one other employee goes behind the counter to assist. They call for someone to meet me outside at the equipment return. Wait another 10 min. At this point, the employee who comes to assist is complaining about his job to another employee. We apparently have to wait for another employee to come and assist even though this employee only removes the appliance dolly from the truck. I am then overcharged for an extra day. The employee says its because I went over mileage. I go on about my day. My fault. I should have fact-checked the employee. I did not go over mileage. They are saying that I am being charged an extra day now since I didn't return the equipment by 2pm. Nowhere on my paperwork says that I have to return the truck and equipment by 2pm. Total BS charge. If you need the truck/equipment back by 2pm, then that needs to be listed on the confirmation page/email. Totally f'n pissed right now.

I felt the young lady who was to finalized my storage locker closure did not take my concerns to heart. I raised two or three concerns that I felt she could have handled, but she chose not to assist! I was able to later go online and finally find the answers to my concerns and took care of them there. She absolutely did not want to do any extra work, but she did hurry back to her phone call!

The staff could not explain policies effectively. I reserved a 10x15 unit before hand and the staff said that they could not rent the last kind of unit, so they may not be able to give me the 10x15 that I reserved??? The manager did not help at all while the store clerk/cashier attempted to simultaneously check out three customer's orders. The cashier also said that workers would show us where my unit was, and help us unload. The workers did neither. The manager refused to check out my truck rental that I needed to drop off, and kept calling on the radio for someone else to do it. No one did until AFTER closing time.
