Dropped off thurs. night but was unable to use Online drop off procedure. Called U-Haul and took care of everything on the phone. Sat. Summer Ave location called about when I was going to drop off. Advised that the trailer was there. They said they would take care of everything. Need something to alert drop off locale that a rental was dropped off after hours when on line dropoff doesn't work.

Review your Rental Purchase, i.e, you ASK for to much personal info when renting. All it should take is a Driver's License, reather it's out if town. And your form of payment. I was ask for, my passport, car registration, gun license, credit card, the list goes on. That was a bit to nuch info, just to rent a moving truck.

The guys inspecting the truck was not hospitable or nice. Barely made eye contact and made me pay for 1 extra gallon of gas because he said he gas was not exactly where it needed to be, which, in my opinion was not the case. He was rude.

Owner was quite rude. I needed a open trailer to use to haul a motorcycle from Memphis to my home in benton. I feel the owner wanted to rent and did rent to me an oversized trailer saying that is all that was available.

Trailer was old and worn out the door broke and we had to wait almost 3 hours before someone showed up to repair it.

We did the online check-in, but our wait time was horrible, it took close to an hour to get our trailer. We ran into a time issue, and when we called the store to say we would be late on the return, the agent hung-up on me. I called back and a male yelled at me again and hung-up again. I was only trying to tell them the situation and when the trailer would be returned. Upon return, we again were yelled at regarding inconvenience to others. We will NEVER use U-Haul again. The customer service was horrible at all stages.

Rentals fees are daily. I got charged for two days, but only had the truck for 13 hours. I picked up by 745pm on Friday night and returned @10 am Saturday morning and got charged for two days because they had the truck promised out to someone else at 7am Saturday morning. I thought why rent me the truck if you had it reserved for someone else.... bad business!!! I should have just went to Penske!!!

Let the customer know that if they have an out of state license that you have to pay extra deposits and fees, and use a credit card, not a debit card, however when you turn it the equipment, you can pay as you like. Make sure the equipment is at the preferred location.

I was very disappointed with uhaul!! Uhaul is ripping their customers off when it comes the fuel. When I picked up my rental truck i received documentation that provided the EXACT amount of fuel that was in the truck. I was told that i needed to make sure the same amount of fuel was in the truck when i drop off or i will be charged $3.50 a gallon and a fee for someone to out the fuel back in. I put fuel back to the truck but was still charged! There is NO way uhaul customers could replace the fuel to the EXACT amount required because the fuel is measured differently. When i received my documenta for renting it showed a gas level of 7/16. Their is no way i could return the fuel back to 7/16 because the truck only has 1/4, 2/4, 3/4, 4/4. If you do not return the exact amount you will be charged and if you put over the amount you do not get any money back for the extra fuel you put in. Either way uhaul gets the benefits. They profit either way! I would not recommend uhaul.

The staff is friendly and mostly helpful except the processis slow. I had a reservation and completed online forms to speed up the process but that didnt seem to matter, the clerk wasnt interested or didnt know what to do. You have to go in & stand in line, then get the equipment, then go back in to finish. this is too redundant of a process and a waste of time. needs to be speedier. 45 minutes to get a reserved trailer..hmm?

The steering on this truck was awful. If I'd had far to go, I would have returned it. Wobbly, wouldn't stay straight very easily. I've rented 20 trucks or so over the years, this is the only one I've had trouble with.
