Picked up a van the morning of 9/22. The gentleman that helped me was prompt and friendly. No issues with the van. It's the second rental in two weeks for me. I have another reservation in two days. This place is fantastic for daily rentals for in-town moves and errands. One note: Plan ahead to understand the streets on game days. Traffic is heavy is re-routed around the block.

My code didn't (still doesn't) work for my storage floor. SEVERAL minutes wasted on this issue. According to the time on the key pad, we were finished with the truck before 5 PM, but the front door was already locked. Even though my original rental allowed two days, expiring at 9 AM on 9/18, I was charged $21.40 for an after hours return. That's nickel and diming BS, especially given the facility itself was a factor in delayed time.

Location is the main thing this place has going for it. So many details left out of reservations making it stressful and sending me on a wild goose chase. Please let people know about deposits required for cash, if you can't take Apple Pay, and if a truck needs to be back by a certain time. Also the owner is not friendly at all.

I reserved a 9' van, went to the location and they didn't have it. They told me to call uhaul, so I did. The guy on the phone told me to go to this different location because he was putting in a reservation for a 9' cargo van there. I go there, as directed, and there's no cargo van. This means I had to go with a 10' truck and spend significantly more money even though I had a reservation for a cargo van.

They were very patient with me. My 1 day rental turned into 7. Very understanding and willing to work with me as long as I kept in contact. The 26 ft. Truck we rented was awesome and definitely an upgrade from uhauls older trucks. A Ford super duty absolutly carried its weight. Anyway, Tropicana location has always been my favorite location, and still is.

The U-Haul location was great. The problem is with your "return after hours app", it doesn't work, and the 800- number had an hour wait to speak to a customer service rep. Need to work on those issues.

When I dropped the trailer off, I mentioned to the U-Haul assoc. that the bolt that held up the ramp, on the right side, was bent and out of alignment, therefore it was very hard to unbolt it. I am quite strong, and so was the man assisting me load the trailer, however, when the U-Haul assoc. exaimined it, and agreed it was out of alignment, rather than make a report and have it fixed, he chose to poke fun at the man who was helping me load and unload the trailer; we BOTH had trouble with the bolt, it took much pulling on it to get it to dislodge. His comments were sort of offfensive to me, as the problem wasn't about need for strength, it was about the misalignment not being address and repaired. The U-Haul assoc. commented that I should "get another man" I assume he meant "stronger" than the one helping me. It should be appreciated that, 1) the left bolt was easy to remove, and 2) a fellow at the city's brush deposit site, saw me struggling to unbolt the right side, and came over and attempted to unlodge it, he remarked that the bolt or bolt latch was bent, and that I should report it to U-Haul. Well, I did, and the assoc. seems to think it's ok to just let the next customer struggle with unbolting the ramp, or, just leaving the right bolt unlatched, because it's too hard to unlatch. I hope this is instructive.

I have called over seven times regarding a refund for my rental. There were several concerns including changing of location last minute, not reimbursing for fees due to changing of location and I Have not once received a call back. Today. I finally get a hold of the regional managers office, he promptly tells me there's nothing to be done. I will never use U-Haul and am actively telling others the same.

While traveling out of state with our 6x12 enclosed trailer rental, it was raining. When we arrived to our destination and opened the trailer to unload, our items were soaked. Our tv, thankfully had a blanket over it, however, it still got wet. I requested a refund at the Woodstock, GA return location and was advised I would need to file through my own car insurance. This is ridiculous and very poor customer service on Uhaul's part. I spoke with my insurance, and that would be a claim and of course anytime a claim is done, policies go up. This is wrong for Uhaul to do this. The employees at the Woodstock, GA location said our trailer was the third one from Florida that had a leak issue. I dropped off a 6x12 trailer after hours with the blankets and dolly that had been rented. This trailer leaked on my trip to Florida. I parked the trailer in the area where other trailers were parked. I was charged for an “after hours drop off fee” and a “cleaning fee”. I rent trailers all the time from U-Haul and have never heard of either fee. Needless to say, this is my last time renting from U-haul.

I use U-Haul for many years and I love their equipment, and I absolutely love that 26-ft Ford truck, that thing drives and handles so nice and I love the sound of the motor, it's got a lot of torque and I just absolutely love it! I could drive that big truck every day!

The worker was Very confused and aggrivated with the chechout system. It was not my fault but it really felt like it. This is after my location was changed by uhaul. Not a great experience. I really felt like changking to penske up the road. The return guy was the polar opposite. Very nice and accomodating.

From a structure and resources perspective this location had it all. However, I had a really bad experience as it pertains to customer service. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to find the key dropbox when I returned my truck late last night. Therefore, I kept the keys and planned to return to the location the next morning to drop them off. I got a call the next day from Jack Marwill, Uhaul employee, and his approach to the entire situation was improper. He was very aggressive on the tone and seemed upset that I kept the keys. I told him that his customer service was improper and he still kept his aggressive tone - I understand his frustration and that he was following policy, but I was also frustrated that I wasn't able to find the key dropbox late at night. Unfortunately, this interaction left a bad taste in my mouth. Uhaul needs to train these employees because these little things are the ones that cost the company customers. His demeaner, tone, and customer service was extremely poor and against the type of service Uhaul strives to achieve.

I arrived at drop off time and there was a long line. The gentleman behind desk saw I drove a truck in and asked me 3 quick questions while assisting person in front of him so I could drop the keys and leave vs waiting for no reason. multitasking while providing amazing customer service.

I told the rep that I was going 35 miles both way which is 70 and he literally quoted me for 35 miles. I paid 60 bucks for this and I was fine with that number. I left. So I then brought it back and he says I'm being charged an additional 30 bucks for mileage. I was shocked bc that's not what I was told. Had I known it was that much I would have not purchased the uhaul. And I only had it for an hour! I also would have just gone elsewhere or come up with a new solution to moving my items. I just don't see myself using uhaul services again. Too expensive and not worth what you pay.

I was a GM for 18 years and know what it’s like to maintain a facility like this. It was clean and the storage room was spot on with the green zip tie and green tag with date recorded on it. It was a fairly secure building except for a few creepys hanging around…but every place has its own. All in all great job to the GM and staff, like Joe Shoen says “we have the TAj Mahal why go any place else”.

the code given in the online confirmation email was completely wrong. If we had shown up after hours, it would have been a disaster. Fortunately, the office was open and the staff were all incredibly helpful. Very happy with the experience.

My items were shipped to this location from CA. The truck driver put the account in his name, which is fraud. The folks here were very helpful and worked with the police department to ensure my items were safe.

When I secured the space, I secured it online. Online, it stated that the space was for a one to two bedroom apartment. That was absolutely not the case. I had to secure a second unit and I thought that they would have given me a discount. But they didn't! Look at the space before you secure it!!

Staff never answers the phone. Often are rude, when I first moved they refused the truck I drove even though I drove across country, then it took over a year and a call to cooperate to honor 1 month of free rent on storage. Prices are severely under quoted. By far the worst place I have ever rented.

The guy that works there - might be the manager was very kind and willing to assist when I hit a snag in my unit. Everyone is really nice - I think The units are really small compared to the ones in Md and Georgia - but I’m a master packer and made it work. Great location and they have lots of carts which came in handy because it got very busy and no one had to fight for carts - that was a plus. Also appreciated someone showing me how to get in after hours.

Would give a zero star if I could. From day 1 this was a hassle. Took me over an hour to get the unit since the line was so long. It wasn't cleaned. I had to clean it myself. The staff member gave me a broom instead of offering to clean herself. The manager is unreachable and doesn't care at all. Will never go to this location again and will never refer anyone here. Worst business arrangement I've made in my life.

There was a mix up when I arrived with my furniture stating I had not paid which took some time to straighten out. At first they were ot going to give me the free month. Because of the mix up I could not set up an account. As they never answered the phone, I had to go to the store to pay for the extra months needed. When I was ready to leave, the elevator (only 1 at the facility), was broken! They laughed and said they didn’t know when it would be repaired. I wa very upset. The manager told me he was offended that I blamed him! Well,he is the manager! It was a strange reaction. Keep in mind, I was paying more rent because I couldn’t move into my new home because I could not get my furniture out of storage. This went on for 2 weeks! The manager did comp me a truck to move my furniture once the elevator was fixed. It did not cover the additional rent but I was just happy to be out. In addition, I had to go down to check on the elevator because again they didn’t answer the phones and no one called me to tell me it was fixed! Very poor customer service!

Got the code to let me into the maximum security storage facility wasn't told that I had to check in using the code at this particular access point then I can use the door key pad but after that was explained to me I had no problems the staff was polite and courteous and even showed me to my storage unit and how to use my code to access the elevator and when I asked for a security card to let me in the door instead of using the code they gave me one without a fuss and told me if I have any problems questions or concerns please feel free to come to the desk and ask it may cost a little bit more but it is definitely worth every penny. I would most definitely recommend this to anyone especially those who value their possessions.

The facility itself was secure. However, I reached out to customer service and got the main number as the facility ALWAYS transferred its phones to the main number. You can never reach the facility itself. The main uhaul could not answer my question and assured me that the manager of Tropicana field would return my call. He/she never did. I was supposed to get a free month of storage as I had rented a truck within the last 12 months. (Mine was actually within the last 6 weeks). The customer service reps at the main number checked my qualifications and assured me that I did qualify. The they charged me at the facility and when it was questioned, they said that since I didn’t rent the truck ‘from a certain distance’, I didn’t qualify for a free month. I’m Scratching my head over that loophole. Not even quite sure what it means. The facility itself was fine. I made the reservation through uhaul central since you can never reach the facility itself. On the move-in day, the facility told me that they gave my storage unit to someone else (we were there at 9 am), but, they were able to come up with another for us. Why did they even bother to tell me that? The place is chaotic but my belongings were safe in the end.

I arrived at Uhaul at 8:15am. There was only 1 employee working. He was very slow. There were 3 people in front of me. By the time I got up to the counter it was after 10:35a.m. The Uhaul employee had a nasty attitude and was unprofessional. He was very condescending with myself and the black woman who was before me in line. However, his demeanor was totally different with the two other guys/customers that were in front of the line. I had to be to work at 12 noon but due to waiting 2 hours to get and having to store my items storage I waisted an entire day and had to miss work. I also reserved a storage unit and it was too small for my things! I had to get another storage elsewhere. This was the absolute worst experience I ever had. I would never recommend. I should be accommodated for inconvenience and lack of professionalism. This experience was horrible. // Later that morning a woman (Uhaul employee) arrived around 11am-11:30am. Her attitude was totally different from the man earlier that morning. She was very professional. But unfortunately the bad experience I had earlier that morning with the man who was at the counter trumps that and made my entire experience an absolute nightmare.

Great place to store things! It’s the moving out that’s a pain. So many homeless folks come up and ask to help you, so I felt uncomfortable leaving my truck unattended to load up more for fear of my things being stolen. The elevator was also miserable to use if anyone else is moving at the same time. Anyone above you will come down with a full load and I waited 5 minutes for two rounds of people to unload the elevator. When it’s 80 degrees in that breezeway 5 minutes feels like forever. Overall I’m glad we had the option to keep our things here, but glad it was temporary. Everyone who works there is very friendly and accommodating.

There were dead roaches in the hallway and 3 in my storage unit. I was disgusted and couldn’t believe it. I was told management would get back to me to offer a resolution. It’s been 3 days and not one phone call, email or text. This is utterly embarrassing.

The Staff was always helpful if needed and it was rarely busy when I did have to get into my units. The auto payment option made everything easy. The elevator certainly isn’t the fastest on the planet. Overall I had a positive experience.

I was given a second floor storage unit with no elevator access. Had I known this prior to moving in, I would have found a different storage unit somewhere that didn't force me to carry my items up a flight or stairs. I'm unable to store some of my items here at all due to this restriction.

This store is really busy and really understaffed. There is always a long line and it takes too long for each transaction to occur. If you have a question and call the store you will be on hold for at least 30 - 45 minutes. Frustrating because it is in a great location and always has a variety of trucks and equipment available for your move.

I had an old and valuable antique oriental rug in storage. I recently moved into a larger dwelling and when I unrolled the rug there were larvae all over and a great deal of the rug was damaged, possibly destroyed. This was a family heirloom that apart from monetary value, had great sentimental value to me. I'm heartbroken this beautiful reminder of the home I grew up in and 3 subsequent homes of my own is so damaged. I've never seen a single instance of this during my 25 plus years of owning and using this beautiful piece in my home. I'm greatly upset about this and heartbroken.

There was a reservation error. The centralized reservation system gave me lockers that didn’t exist at this location . I had a lot of stuff. The Tropicana staff worked fabulously with me during a very stressful time and gave me everything they had for space. The manager, James Beck, made things very reasonable in terms of cost adjustment. All the staff were pkeasent and helpful.

I will commend this particular UHaul for its cleanliness as I am all about clean especially in a storage facility. Most of the folks at this facility are helpful and pleasant.

After being a loyal customer for nearly two years they decided to increase my rate, even though they still advertise and offer the same rate to people who are currently signing up. So they basically try to squeeze more money out of customers who have been there a long time, but continue to offer the same size unit to new customers for the price I had paid all along. I guess they are banking on customers being too lazy to move out. I called and left a message asking to discuss the issue with management and he never even took the time to return my call. Apparently U-haul is more interested in short-term profit than brand/customer loyalty. I found a very nice, brand new storage unit nearly twice the size (10x15) less than a mile away for basically the same price I had been paying U-haul. I may have no choice but to use the services of u-haul at some point in the future depending on where I am, but I can certainly tell you that it will never again be my first choice. I will shop around and likely pay more for a competitor's services if they are available before I ever resort to using U-haul again because I don't want to support a business whose business model is designed to "reward" customer loyalty with predatory practices.
