I booked a truck and I was supposed to use the app to pickup it up. Then I got notification it will be handled by staff member. Then they changed again to app when already spent 15 mins in line because there was only 1 employee at desk. Gevanni from automated system was chatting with me and dropped the chat with no explanation. After 45 mins of wait I was able to get the pickup truck. Never again at this location. Next time I'll rent a Home Depot truck.

I was not notified on how to return the rental truck i return the truck by my cell phone but didn’t know where to leave the keys so I left them in the truck. I received a call the next day telling me I was supposed to put the keys in a drop box that I wasn’t aware of, now they want to charge me because the truck was locked with the keys in it I’ve never locked the truck at all I asked if they could run the cameras back because I know I didn’t lock the door the guy at the store said “no and he don’t Have time because he’s going on break and he’s just going to charge me” I feel horrible because I know I didn’t lock the door and if the returned policy was explained to me we wouldn’t be going through this I’m very upset about the miscommunication on uhaul side.

Running lights on the trailer kept blowing a fuse on my truck, break lights and turn signals worked thankfully. I don’t believe the braking system worked properly, I smelt my brakes burning when making a moderately hard stop, btw I have a well maintained Ford Excursion more than adequate to pull a 6x12 trailer.

Better street signs noting the location of the entrance for truck returns. We entered from 1st St, through the exit because we didn't see any entrance signs, just the parked Uhaul trucks.

Customer service is abmysmal the morning I was to pick up my vehicle. First of all, the truck I reserved was not available. Next, I found out that my order had been changed from an in-town move to a one-way rental. All that had to be straightened out. Female that waited on me had an attitude the entire time. Fortunately, the individual that helped me when I turned in the truck was much more customer service oriented.

First, my contract stated that I was supposed to get furniture pads, which I was charged for, but never got. Second, I checked in online, and we had to wait at least 1/2 hr. for the key because one of the employees was walking around the property with it in his pocket, so no one knew where the key was. I disputed the bill when we returned the check, and someone was supposed to contact me, but no one has. Overall, I wasn't impressed.

I had a prepaid reservation for a truck, blankets and a hand truck as well as purchase of cartons, tape and packing paper. When I arrived to pick it up, they were out of the blankets and hand truck because "someone came in and cleaned us out of them all this morning." What good is it to reserve and prepay for equipment only to have it given away to someone else?? IT WAS PREPAID! It was like the Seinfeld episode where they "took the reservation, but didn't follow through with HOLDING the reservation." For some reason, my cardboard and supplies order was sent to another UHaul location and I had to go there to retrieve it even though they had all of the supplies at this location?? I'm 1000 miles from home and just arrived to make this move-out happen so I don't have all day to be driving all over the city to retrieve equipment. The windshield of the truck was filthy on the inside. It looks like someone sneezed on it as well as a dozen or so circle marks left from previous renters GPS holders or something. Either way, it was not presentable and should have been something that was cleaned as part of the checkout or check in procedure. One last thing - what was the point with having the heater cranked all the way up when I got in the truck? It's Florida, not Canada. There was no need for that.

Great facility with plenty of room to maneuver...sometimes there seems to be a shortage of personnel to complete equipment returns but then it is probably impossible to staff-up to support irregular returns. Otherwise, this is a superior UHaul location and is my first choice in St. Petersburg, FL

Everything was great until dropping off the truck. I pulled into the drop off area around 6:57-6.58 and closing time was 7pm. There was a truck in front of me being checked in and when i pulled up to the attendant after the other truck had been checked in and the attendant parked the truck he told me he couldn't help me as it was 7:02pm and they were closed. He informed me i had to check in online so that if i didn't want to be charged the after hours and walked off. Not great customer service. I tried checking in online for 20 minutes or so and it would accept my contract number on my account, so i called the help desk who were also unhelpful and just told me to keep trying. So after being on the phone for 5-10 minutes the agent then says she cant help me but with leave a message on my account that i checked in the truck and to not charge the after hours fee. I left feeling annoyed that i spent 30minutes of my time trying to check in the truck online but was happy that i wouldn't be charged the unnecessary after hours few, which should jus be a key drop like every other rental company. I then get an e-mail on Sunday to find out i had been charged an extra $20 for an after hours check in. Oh and i should note that i returned the truck the day before it was due. Terrible customer service, this all could have been avoided if the attendant spent less that 5 minutes checking in the truck or the lady on the phone had checked it in.
