Dont commit fraud. They charged ne for Gas, when i filled the tank, they charged me for Insurance when I declined the coverage, I have my own insurance that covers me in my Rentals. I will tell every one I know to use Budget Truck, because they are more fair and not shady like U-haul.ERIC R.

NOTHING! This was so smooth. I was a walk-in customer, no reservation. Don took care of me and he was knowledgeable, organized, and quick. I was in and out in a few minutes. The owner rented me a car hauling trailer. Hooked it up, checked liglts. All went well. On return he unhooked trailer and waved a polite goodbye! I wish I could get this kind of service everywhere. Thank you and my Buick thanks you.Joel Z.
Not only was the tank of gas given to me with a whisper of gasoline (26miles left on the tank) but I was told by the â€œgentlemanâ€ (who pretends to be nice but provides misleading information), claimed that I would get a credit if I returned the vehicle with more gas than what I received it with. There was a $14 credit on my invoice which doesn't not account for a dent of that $110 required to fill the tank to begin with. This location is a disgrace, they often provide incorrect info, they tried billing me twice for the auto transport too, had I not caught it and insisted I had paid for it during my earlier visit. Get it together. I tried filing a formal complaint over the phone for this location and the hold times are astronomical. Is that because of the frequent complaints Uhaul gets?MONIKA A.

Truck was given with just a breath of gasoline, had to scramble to find a location to pump gas at, and that first gas tank was $110.98 but the "credit" I was given was $14, that's not even a dent on how much gas these trucks require. When I went to pick up auto-transport, was about to get double billed, if not because I caught it. Uhaul has consistently had issues with disclosing fees and nickel and diming people. BUT that being said, the staff is always eager to help, pleasant to work with, polite. Had a prior mess of a situation at this location which is why I still wouldn't recommend it to a friend.MONIKA A.

Incorrectly overcharged for over mileage (traveled less than my originally stated 222 miles) and then was treated extremely unprofessionally by Grant - who rudely stated I did travel the stated over mileage then hung up on me as I was trying to explain the facts. They delayed my checkout of the truck By 45 minutes due to system issues but didn't care when I showed up 2 minutes later than closing on the same day to pick up my towing equipment. Had a complete attitude of disregard about the fact that their delay and refusal to stay 2 minutes late to let me complete my move according to schedule. I had to completely rework my moving plans and take an extra day off of work. No compensation or apology was offered by this location. I went and filled the tank up all the way on full and they wanna say it was short on gas and charge me when the tank was on full but when I was there with them when he was doing expection he said the gas was full but when I leave it's a whole different storyCrystal M.
I was charged by the rental location ($552), and the location where I cancelled a prior rental reservation at the instruction of the rental location after when installing a hitch, and it had the trailer I needed. Ready to start our trip and start van and tire service monitoring light on and tire pressure light flashing. Office is closed. Had call uhaul customer care to help in what to do. I reserved a van. I got a truck. There was a van on the lot when I arrived and when I returned. They said it was reserved for someone else, but my reservation was first. The truck I got was too big for my needs and I wasn't able to get a few heavy things in it at all. I was moving all by myself. They didn't seem concerned for my needs or even apologize for the inconvenience. Overall driving a truck with a cracked windshield, 2 dash lights on and that didn't suit my moving needs gives me no reason to look at U-Haul for my moving needs. The reason I needed this vehicle was because I am having new floors installed. I will need to move everything back in a few months. I had to pay someone to move the items I couldn't lift into the truck. It cost me double.Louise K.

I ordered a furniture dolly which was confirmed at pickup, but not included when I picked up the truck. I didn't notice this until I got home (which is my bad). Anyway, we managed the move without the dolly, and I was credited for it on returning the truck, which was nice. This wasn't a negative experience, but I can't really rate it above average.Cedric H.

I was a GM for 18 years and know what it’s like to maintain a facility like this. It was clean and the storage room was spot on with the green zip tie and green tag with date recorded on it. It was a fairly secure building except for a few creepys hanging around…but every place has its own. The guy that works there - might be the manager was very kind and willing to assist when I hit a snag in my unit. Everyone is really nice - I think The units are really small compared to the ones in Md and Georgia - but I’m a master packer and made it work. Great location and they have lots of carts which came in handy because it got very busy and no one had to fight for carts - that was a plus. Would give a zero star if I could. From day 1 this was a hassle. Took me over an hour to get the unit since the line was so long. It wasn't cleaned. I had to clean it myself. There was a mix up when I arrived with my furniture stating I had not paid which took some time to straighten out. At first they were ot going to give me the free month. Because of the mix up I could not set up an account. As they never answered the phone, I had to go to the store to pay for the extra months needed. When I was ready to leave, the elevator (only 1 at the facility), was broken! They laughed and said they didn’t know when it would be repaired. I wa very upset. The manager told me he was offended that I blamed him! Well,he is the manager! It was a strange reaction. Keep in mind, I was paying more rent because I couldn’t move into my new home because I could not get my furniture out of storage. This went on for 2 weeks! The manager did comp me a truck to move my furniture once the elevator was fixed. It did not cover the additional rent but I was just happy to be out. In addition, I had to go down to check on the elevator because again they didn’t answer the phones and no one called me to tell me it was fixed! Got the code to let me into the maximum security storage facility wasn't told that I had to check in using the code at this particular access point then I can use the door key pad but after that was explained to me I had no problems the staff was polite and courteous and even showed me to my storage unit and how to use my code to access the elevator and when I asked for a security card to let me in the door instead of using the code they gave me one without a fuss and told me if I have any problems questions or concerns please feel free to come to the desk and ask it may cost a little bit more but it is definitely worth every penny. The facility itself was secure. However, I reached out to customer service and got the main number as the facility ALWAYS transferred its phones to the main number. You can never reach the facility itself. The main uhaul could not answer my question and assured me that the manager of Tropicana field would return my call. He/she never did. I was supposed to get a free month of storage as I had rented a truck within the last 12 months. (Mine was actually within the last 6 weeks). The customer service reps at the main number checked my qualifications and assured me that I did qualify. The they charged me at the facility and when it was questioned, they said that since I didn’t rent the truck ‘from a certain distance’, I didn’t qualify for a free month. I’m Scratching my head over that loophole. Not even quite sure what it means. The facility itself was fine. I made the reservation through uhaul central since you can never reach the facility itself. On the move-in day, the facility told me that they gave my storage unit to someone else (we were there at 9 am), but, they were able to come up with another for us. I arrived at Uhaul at 8:15am. There was only 1 employee working. He was very slow. There were 3 people in front of me. By the time I got up to the counter it was after 10:35a.m. The Uhaul employee had a nasty attitude and was unprofessional. He was very condescending with myself and the black woman who was before me in line. However, his demeanor was totally different with the two other guys/customers that were in front of the line. I had to be to work at 12 noon but due to waiting 2 hours to get and having to store my items storage I waisted an entire day and had to miss work. I also reserved a storage unit and it was too small for my things! I had to get another storage elsewhere. This was the absolute worst experience I ever had. I would never recommend. I should be accommodated for inconvenience and lack of professionalism. This experience was horrible. // Later that morning a woman (Uhaul employee) arrived around 11am-11:30am. Her attitude was totally different from the man earlier that morning. She was very professional. Great place to store things! It’s the moving out that’s a pain. So many homeless folks come up and ask to help you, so I felt uncomfortable leaving my truck unattended to load up more for fear of my things being stolen. The elevator was also miserable to use if anyone else is moving at the same time. Anyone above you will come down with a full load and I waited 5 minutes for two rounds of people to unload the elevator. When it’s 80 degrees in that breezeway 5 minutes feels like forever. I was given a second floor storage unit with no elevator access. Had I known this prior to moving in, I would have found a different storage unit somewhere that didn't force me to carry my items up a flight or stairs. This store is really busy and really understaffed. There is always a long line and it takes too long for each transaction to occur. If you have a question and call the store you will be on hold for at least 30 - 45 minutes.
