The vehicle was clean and drove well. My vital issue was on my way to my destination there wasn't a sun visor on the driver's side. I had a 2 hour drive heading East and I couldn't protect my eyes from the sun. DEFINITELY A SAFETY HAZZARD!CAROLYN B.

Stop using third party vendors/Exon gas stations to rent out your vehicles. Their customers service is uncomfortable and very frustrating they also increase prices which makes your customers feel as though they are being swindled by the person behind the counter. The caucasian shit head was rude as hell. I told the staff person upfront when I rented the uhaul that I might keep it an extra day, tentatively. When the extra day came around white dude called me up with an attitude, after I had literally called 5 minutes before tellng them im keeping it for extra time, he had an attitude acted as if that extra day came out of his pocket or something. I could not drop in the 3928 Martin street. So I CALLED CUSTOMER SERVICE FOR THE NEAREST LOCATION I was told it was 3 miles away that is the 911 west gate blvd only to find out it was 12 miles away. It was not necessary for the customer rep to give me wrong information. She could have told she does not know. It affected my refil of gas as the distance was far. Upon dropping off my trailer, there was a man that was on the staff. I did not notice he was wearing U-Haul where so I asked him if he had worked here, he responded by saying â€œDon't you see me wearing U-Haul stuff? What can I help you with?â€ I told him I'm dropping off my trailer and when he went inside to check on my drop off information I unhooked the trailer. He came back out to tell me my drop off isn't here and said â€œWell it's not in our system and you already unhitched it so you'll be getting charged.â€ When I reiterated that I picked the trailer up from here he said it's not in their system so I'll be still getting charged. He took the trailer and put it with the others and it wasn't checked in resulting me being charged.Catyana B.

I rented equipment (trolly) and had to leave it during non-business hours and the lock for the back of the truck would not come open which made me uncomfortable leaving the truck unlocked so in the future it would be a good idea to make sure locks work on all doors before renting out.Marieka S.

Clean house and replace Justin. He canceled my appointment TWICE, once the day before because "it wasn't going to work" for him. And second time as I was on the road coming to the Greensboro facility. Third time I had to come on a Sunday as I had run out of time to get this! Then they forgot to put the tow kit in the car when I left. Didn't know it wasn't there until Mr. Smith at the trailer pick up told me I needed that! Had to go to 2 separate AutoZones to purchase the part that I had ALREADY PAID FOR but wasn't put in my car! Called numerous phone numbers to get a refund and was ignored, hung up on, and no one called back. The Greensboro and area HQ were awful. Will never use Uhaul again. And have told all my friends and family what happened. I got Discover to open a dispute to get my money back for the tow kit.BARBARA C.

The truck was busted up on the outside (you could hear rattling of the broken hood as you drove) and it was really dirty and sticky on the inside. It was as if someone spilled a soda on the floor and in between the seats. The office also did not have the furniture we had rented and were not apologetic. They even told us we could use a different dolly but it would cost us more money. I am also not confident I will get my gas/mileage refund. The staff member seemed very confused about why I was asking about this. I am just really disappointed in how much money I spent for such a poor experience.Madison R.

I been getting charged for a storage I never used the seal is still on the unit I never broke it because I didn't like how the storage building look and it wasn't secured. I felt like my stuff wouldn't be taken care of in that storage facilities for it to be a climate control unit. Everytime I try to go to store to turn in key card it's always a long wait and the gentleman wouldn't just let us drop off the key card so my card been getting auto charged monthly $49.99 which I found out they from customer service that shouldn't been happening if they walked their units and saw I never took off there ziptie and never put my personal lock on. When I first moved in, I had to drive laps around the building to try to find where to unload my trailer because the directions from the front office were so poor. It wasn't until I found someone working in the back that I had better instructions and was shown how to access my unit. I was also told that I had to have the lock that U-Haul sold but saw several units with different locks, which meant I was clearly lied to. There were several times my access card failed to open the door, despite following the proper steps. The "loading dock" door routinely failed to close, leaving the facility unsecured. Items such as carts and the ladder (which was not easily moveable) were routinely left in the hallway, making it difficult to get to my unit without risking injury. When I'd ask the staff for assistance, I'd be met with an attitude like I was an inconvenience. Overall, the services I received was a ripoff for the price I was paying. We had a good experience with you all up until we moved our things from your facility. We moved out in January 2021 even rented a truck from you all to do so. We have received text messages, emails and phone calls until March about late payments on the storage. I even called to talk to someone to tell them that we were no longer there and they said something was wrong with their system and it kept contacting old customers and he would fix the issue. Spoke with someone else and told her that we had been long gone, she informed me that we couldn't have moved out the correct way because they didn't have record of it, even though we rented the truck from them to move the stuff. They kept asking was the unit empty and was the lock gone. Of course both of those things had happened, but why didn't they know that and they work there. I expected more from U-Haul. The upper lever units are terrible to store heavy furniture as it is only a unit on top of another like a high locker. It was after the fact that I was informed that these lockers are mostly meant for college students with limited belongings. I barely got 1 bedroom set in the lower unit minus the mattress set.
