Return lane has signs saying stay with vehicle and an attendant will come out and check you in, but I had to go in and get someone. Never use the phone pick up option. That option is cumbersome and does not work properly, but is a UHAUL issue and not a location issue. Don't count on all reserved moving equipment being available when you arrive.Debra E.

Although this was not my first experience with this U-Haul location, this was my most recent experience. I was very happy with the level of customer service. As I walked in I was greeted. Maniya was actually on her way to lunch, however, she postponed her lunch a few minutes to get me registered into the system and out the door. Maniya gave me all the information regarding the insurance on the vehicle, mileage, and gas. When I returned the vehicle, she closed me out and gave me my total balance since I went over my estimated mileage. On my receipt there was no hidden charges or fees. When I first moved in, I had to drive laps around the building to try to find where to unload my trailer because the directions from the front office were so poor. It wasn't until I found someone working in the back that I had better instructions and was shown how to access my unit. I was also told that I had to have the lock that U-Haul sold but saw several units with different locks, which meant I was clearly lied to. There were several times my access card failed to open the door, despite following the proper steps. The "loading dock" door routinely failed to close, leaving the facility unsecured. Items such as carts and the ladder (which was not easily moveable) were routinely left in the hallway, making it difficult to get to my unit without risking injury. When I'd ask the staff for assistance, I'd be met with an attitude like I was an inconvenience. Overall, the services I received was a ripoff for the price I was paying. I'd sell/donate everything I own before I stored with U-Haul again.Elizabeth e. | Overall Experience

I requested a hand truck to come with my rentals however it wasn't on the back of the truck like it normally would be. Definitely made moving from Greensboro to Winston and back difficult and I live on the third floor so it was rough. I know that there is a fee to rent a hand truck so if I was charged as I thought I was I would like that charge removed. Thank you.Patricia M.

I would like to say thank you to the man who worked outside getting everyone in their trucks and on their way. Things were extremely busy and he was so upbeat, positive and helpful. The manager was also very helpful. The blinker on the trailer wasn't working and he tested all sorts of things and found out it was my Suburban. So they helped me get into a cargo van. I feel they both went above and beyond regular customer service and their attitudes were so friendly and positive which I appreciated.CAREY K.

Terrible experience! Dirty and disgusting! Cracked windshield! Dog fur all over both seats! Check engine/change oil light on!!! Literally took over an hour to reach someone at Uhaul to file a complaint!!!! Absolutely awful experience!!! I have a corporate account and use Uhaul every week. I get treated awful and the vehicle is never clean. We are in a pandemic and my space is just nasty! How is that even safe?!? I have to sanitize before I drive. I'm not happy at all.Warditra H.

It appears you have changed your business model. Two weeks ago I rented a truck and it went without a hitch. This week I rent from the same location and I received an email right after I leave the location telling me I have to return it by 12:00 p.m. when I had requested it for 8 hours. After talking to the agent and letting him know I got an "ok". Then I received two calls reminding me I had to return the truck by 12:00p.m. Once again, I got an "Ok" with the first call, and the second call was a message on my voice mail. I called back and I was on hold for ~10 to 12 mins and I got disconnected. I returned the truck at 4:30 p.m.Paul J.

We had a good experience with you all up until we moved our things from your facility. We moved out in January 2021 even rented a truck from you all to do so. We have received text messages, emails and phone calls until March about late payments on the storage. I even called to talk to someone to tell them that we were no longer there and they said something was wrong with their system and it kept contacting old customers and he would fix the issue. Spoke with someone else and told her that we had been long gone, she informed me that we couldn't have moved out the correct way because they didn't have record of it, even though we rented the truck from them to move the stuff. They kept asking was the unit empty and was the lock gone. Of course both of those things had happened, but why didn't they know that and they work there. Needless to say I will never rent a space from this facility, way to much confusion once you have moved.OYANA H. | Overall Experience

The front desk associate got be lost trying to find my locker and acted shocked when I had a free month because of my trailer rental even though I showed her the reservation email and pulled up with it. I expected more from U-Haul. The upper lever units are terrible to store heavy furniture as it is only a unit on top of another like a high locker. It was after the fact that I was informed that these lockers are mostly meant for college students with limited belongings. I barely got 1 bedroom set in the lower unit minus the mattress set. I was very disappointed. The only reason I gave the second star is due to the help staff. I would not recommend this particular site for storage for houses.Crystal E. | First Impressions
