The woman at the front desk was rude and disrespectful and inconsiderate of my time she continued to talk and help other customers while I was trying to explain where I was going to drop off the equipment and she didn’t here me so I got charged money for a mistake that she made I will never use that location ever again in life she was a short light skinned woman with a ponytail and all she kept doing ins trying to be under the fan and on her phone corporate needs to check the cameras and retrain her at that location the one I felt like actually do anything in a professional manner was the man in the garage and the man with the glasses that was out side helping me because they wouldn’t help him I jumped in and started helping him because I was trying to leave after I was there for 2 hours after one of the trailers caught a flat worst experience ever do not go to that location but if u do ask for the man with the glass not that woman she needs to be fired

Pick up was scheduled for 8 am. Arrived at 8 am. Total pick up time took 45 minutes. Employee was having more of a personal conversation with the customer he was helping instead of completing the pick up process. Then the gentleman behind me was called up and told he was next and I was skipped over. The employee that started helping me left the counter after he started my pick up process and went to help a customer outside. I was passed over to another employee at the counter who was answering personal calls lol is on his personal phone while doing my check in. Worst experience I have had with U haul for a pick up

Check out was fast. Return was very slow. The app requires too many steps to return. The vehicle was in terrible condition. Drivers door had to be slammed shit, tow haul mode was stuck on, mirrors stuck, low tire pressure.etc.

The two male staff that was working were extremely rude to me. I did everything online and was having issues and I had to reexplain myself over and over again for them to tell me they dont know much about the app and to just take pictures of everything. I would explain myself and even show the one associate who would then turn around and ask me a question that i literally just answered and this happened a few times. I was there close to 40 minutes trying to figure out why the app wasn't working. They also never gave me a dolly and when I asked for one, I got told by one of the associate as the one i was with didnt know and without the other associate even looking at me, he says "we dont got none". The other associate did try and help (because he didnt know how to refund me because I did everything through the app) and found me an appliance dolly which was broken - the crank to tighten it was missing the pin to keep it in place. I didnt even use it. There was leftover garbage in the uhaul from someone else. Overall, my experience with this specific location was awful and I will never do business there again. They had absolutely no customer service skills whatsoever. When I did return everything, the associates were different and they were nice. The associates definitely need better training for the app.

I called into this store location 3 times and was put on hold then called back a fourth time and someone laided the phone down I could hear your conversation.That was so unprofessional. When a customer calls in don’t leave them on hold. This was not a good experience with U-Haul. I would not come back to this location. Customer service is so important and that’s what needs to improve at this location.

The back lift gate was not working well from the beginning. It broke and would not close. We took it back to exchange it. They did not have another one in stock at this location. They did not offer to get one at another location and transfer the rental. We had to Uber to another location. They dd not offer to drive us to another location. I said No on the well maintained. Initially they put on the paperwork that it had a quarter of a tank of gas. We took a picture and it was only 1/16th of a tank. They did correct it after we said something. We had to get gas before we could even drive 9 miles to the house. Im sorry but that is sorry customer service.

I rented one of the U-Haul trucks for a day and paid the amount at the store. That next day an emergency came up and I had to extend for another day and someone else was going to pay for that extra day for me as a courtesy someone that I know. On the second day of having the truck I was told to return it at a certain time, but I was not able to as another emergency came up and I reached out to the after hours and they promised that they were going to wave that third day. after talking to a few people, there was so much miscommunication. One person from U-Haul said the original card on file is the only payment type and the other card that was gonna be used to pay for the second day would not be used, but then was told the card that was added after the fact was charged. While dealing with this, I continued to try to get in touch with Justin Smith manager, and he would not answer his phone. Also, I tried to get in touch with Justin‘s manager Orlando, and he would not take the call. After discussing and disputing everything with one of the corporate people from the 800 number, they said that they were going to do the best they can to work on it. Since U-Haul lied and did miscommunication to a customer that is illegal and can be brought to court. I am demanding since U-Haul screwed up so bad. I am demanding the person that was charged who added their card after mine get all their money back and I am demanding 50% of what I paid out back as well. Justin needs to be fired because he is not doing his duty as a manager ignoring phone calls is not part of the role as a manager. You’re obligated to get situation settled immediately I am requesting he is removed from his position or suspended without pay and I am requesting the lady who was originally giving me a free day given a raise because she was nice enough to do a courtesy. I am filing with the governor and the BBB against U-Haul. Anyone who reserves anything with U-Haul beware of the scams that they pull, miscommunication, and make sure you get people’s names and recordings.

The truck needed sever maintenance. Sounded like the exhaust was about to fall off. The wipers had no blades on them;luckily I didn't have to use them. And there was pretty substantial cosmetic damage all around. Other than that, the interior was clean which was good.

The lady I did the rental contract with did not tell me I could leave the key in the van upon return. I sat in the van for an hour waiting for the store to open. I the contract read returning by 7:15am. When I seen someone opening up at 7:50 that was when I was told I could have leave in the van.

I was treated like garbage here, they acted like doing their job was the end of the world, i had to put a trailer on my vehicle and attach it myself. Then the trailer i was given had no working lights. The storage unit is a wooden box and I was charged a late fee when they had my card on file and made a mistake by not putting it on auto pay when I told them to do so. When I arrived to clear out my storage unit the large roll up garage door is wide open to where anyone without a card can walk inside the storage area. The workers are rude and lazy and I would not recommend this place to anyone ever.

It took me almost 30 minutes to change the storage unit size because the young lady that was helping me wanted to talk to her other co-workers and eat her bojangles. Then there was another young who kept interjecting into our conversation to make snarky/ smart remarks. I had also mentions to the lady that I need to move in a large L couch and didn't mention to me that the stairs were metal and on wheel. Making it almost impossible to get the couch in there. The storage building also smells like old pee. Never getting a storage unit here again.

Great staff. We rented a truck twice, and two months of rental. Both times were during the very first weekend of the month. They had lines backing up, but never slowed down, and kept grinding away until we all got what we needed. I tried to contact them for several weeks about this unit before moving out of state but no one ever returned any of my messages. They then proceeded to harass me about the unit once my card was no longer on file (I removed the card due to not being able to get any help from them and the situation I was in). I know there was a brand new bed frame, mattress, box spring, and flat screen tv in the unit so I honestly refuse to believe that they only made $5 after the sale of it. Just shady all around and I don’t plan on paying them anything.

While the facility is equipped with good locks, lighting, and cameras, there is a damaged U-Haul truck and a considerable amount of debris next to loading dock. From their comments, it was evident the staff believe the debris to belong to an unhoused person, that he uses the damaged truck for storage, and they are accustomed to this. The unhoused person entered the storage space while I was vacating. While the interior was clean, there was broken glass littering the loading dock when I arrived. Given the availability of more-secure storage in the area, I would not recommend this location to a friend, at least not without sharing my experience.

I came there it was about 6 the man said that he was let me have more time than I went back there to load my stuff up he put me upstairs on ladder so I am 55 years old and I am disabled that is dangerous and then I moved my stuff and I saw roaches all over the place climbing out of people's storage and then the guy came back and said oh yeah I'm almost finished we say yeah we're gonna have a couple of pieces left and then he brings his black big black guy there and he um He did not introduce herself He did not introduce herself he just came in and said yeah I got to leave and come back tomorrow that I was in the 7th o'clock so you cannot get your store unit at the 7 o'clock I think that is unfair

I been getting charged for a storage I never used the seal is still on the unit I never broke it because I didn't like how the storage building look and it wasn't secured. I felt like my stuff wouldn't be taken care of in that storage facilities for it to be a climate control unit. Everytime I try to go to store to turn in key card it's always a long wait and the gentleman wouldn't just let us drop off the key card so my card been getting auto charged monthly $49.99 which I found out they from customer service that shouldn't been happening if they walked their units and saw I never took off there ziptie and never put my personal lock on. I will try and turn in key card again next week but I most definitely wouldn't recommend this climate control unit.

Arrived to turn my truck in at 8:30 am. Storage manager wasn’t available or anyone who access to let me get my unit I reserved the evening prior. I was told to hold on to truck until I get a call back and that was at 10:45 almost 11:00. I missed important business meetings that day and damage had already been done to me. I would like to be compensated.

Team U-haul saved the day to the rhythm of A Tribe Called🧚♀️🎶🌙🌚✌📦🗃🧃🕊🌹Phife 4 Life, we hear when we clean hearts, hands, house, vehicle, schedule, soul with Janet J, Q-Tip & the one called🌹Garnett Silk. Everyone I had an exchange with there (in the past two days, bottom of the 9th/crunchtime in Operation: Move-Out while you figure life around, in & out & above the call of duty) so far was kind, patient, professional, informative, detail-oriented, respectful and thorough. 2 days in a row, different team members at 911 W. GATE CITY Greenboro, NC location took good care of me at 2 minutes before 7pm closing time. Really truly appreciate the whole squad going above & beyond. Think Everyone there deserves to be recognized as life coaches & get a nice surprise financially as well as fun! (Maybe a pizza party with raffle prizes & games, the awesome Marvel movie theater and/ or staff outing while the southern weather is perfect in autumn?!!!)

When I first moved in, I had to drive laps around the building to try to find where to unload my trailer because the directions from the front office were so poor. It wasn't until I found someone working in the back that I had better instructions and was shown how to access my unit. I was also told that I had to have the lock that U-Haul sold but saw several units with different locks, which meant I was clearly lied to. There were several times my access card failed to open the door, despite following the proper steps. The "loading dock" door routinely failed to close, leaving the facility unsecured. Items such as carts and the ladder (which was not easily moveable) were routinely left in the hallway, making it difficult to get to my unit without risking injury. When I'd ask the staff for assistance, I'd be met with an attitude like I was an inconvenience. Overall, the services I received was a ripoff for the price I was paying. I'd sell/donate everything I own before I stored with U-Haul again.

They told me it was climate control but I had mold growing on my couches and my clothes stink very bad there was no light in the storage room so I could barely see it needs to be updated because clearly it was false advertisement and I could have went somewhere else

We had a good experience with you all up until we moved our things from your facility. We moved out in January 2021 even rented a truck from you all to do so. We have received text messages, emails and phone calls until March about late payments on the storage. I even called to talk to someone to tell them that we were no longer there and they said something was wrong with their system and it kept contacting old customers and he would fix the issue. Spoke with someone else and told her that we had been long gone, she informed me that we couldn't have moved out the correct way because they didn't have record of it, even though we rented the truck from them to move the stuff. They kept asking was the unit empty and was the lock gone. Of course both of those things had happened, but why didn't they know that and they work there. Needless to say I will never rent a space from this facility, way to much confusion once you have moved.

The front desk associate got be lost trying to find my locker and acted shocked when I had a free month because of my trailer rental even though I showed her the reservation email and pulled up with it. She also didn’t explain how to access the facility to get to my locker. The one working the yard was more helpful.

The gate never worked properly. The card i used to swipe didn't always work. The clerks behaved as though someone was interrupting their nap when I walked in to ask for assistance. Not friendly at all. Uhaul should prorate. I moved out the same day I was charged for a full month of renting.

I expected more from U-Haul. The upper lever units are terrible to store heavy furniture as it is only a unit on top of another like a high locker. It was after the fact that I was informed that these lockers are mostly meant for college students with limited belongings. I barely got 1 bedroom set in the lower unit minus the mattress set. I was very disappointed. The only reason I gave the second star is due to the help staff. I would not recommend this particular site for storage for houses.

Very accommodating and understanding. Very good Customer Service. This is my 2nd time renting a truck and trailer for a one way and all the Staff were very helpful. This time I did take advantage of the storage unit. The unit is very accessible, however a little darker inside than I expected. Other than that, the best location by far.
