RUSSELL B.Since you take pictures of drivers driver's license, it would be very helpful if you stated what happens to that info after a rental and how you safe guard it from identity theft. I know you do protect all your customer data as a part of your business, but you can imagine my concern when the rep took out his phone and photographed my license without an explanation. Unfortunately I hadn't used your services since this procedure started. I later saw that the reason for this was clearly posted in the store when I returned the rental. But it is not posted how this info is protected and discarded after the rental is returned.
Billy H.The truck I rented was dirty on the inside of the rear area from the precious rental. I had to clean it before I was able to put my items in. Also I was given the truck with only 2.5 gallons of fuel per the truck mileage sensor. The least the location could have done was put a 1/4 of a tank of fuel in for the rental. Not happy with my experience at this location.

James H.Some extra charges on my final bill.. there was extra fuel in the truck and the pull knob for the lights was broken. I'm still waiting to find my final bill that explains the extra $12 on the total charge to my card. Also I made a reservation online which was absolutely useless. Your online algorithms are slimy crooks.

Kristin K.I called letting the people know I would be a few minutes late I was charged almost double! An additional charge of 48.54 and I was charged 58.54. I don't understand why. The people at the front desk said it was fine that I was a little late and wouldn't have been charged.
vinicius D.No greeting the customers when you come in. Just stares at you. Once I do get a knowledge the owner Justin smith I think his name is wants to help me. His explanation of the service he was providing was horrible. My first and last time using the uhaul service. Because again this was my first time so I didn't know about the mileage. He put me in for twenty miles and told me about some gas issues with the truck I was renting. It was just a bad experience. Truck should like it was not going to make it. Only thing about this experience I like was the return. The man that tried to help me in the beginning when Justin or whatever his name step in helped out at the end and explained everything this man couldn't and made my experience much better.
Wanaqui H.Overall my experience was fine, the truck had a very large crack across the windshield and the gas was only on about 1/4 tank, but since I was moving locally I was not concerned. I ordered a dolly and a hand cart and neither were in the truck when I got there. Overall, the rental was pretty standard.

The Mileage counter of the Van given to me appeared to be double counting, which means someone must have tampered with it. I noticed it almost immediately I started driving it, and I called the office but upon the return of the Van, the office manager was non-chalant about it.

Aaron C.My truck share app would not open at the Uhaul location, so I went inside and waited about 10 minutes to be helped because there were several people in front of me. Once I got to the counter, the check went smoothly and efficiently. The agent who helped me was very knowledgeable. The cargo van itself was much nicer that I thought and had a great sound system and cruise control. I was moving some paintings about 60 miles away, so I drove on the highway and was impressed how smoothly the van ran. Yes, I would use this Uhaul location again.

james H.I would close that location. No gas, trash and leaves in the back of truck, paper plate in the dash, tire monitor system light on the entire time, engine light on. Vehicle was unsafe to travel from North Carolina to Maryland. The person gave me a $30 credit for gas since the vehicle didn't have gas. He failed to tell me the vehicle was completely empty. Ran out of gas five miles from the location.
David F.Make sure trailer was hooked on accurately- chains were dragging on the ground by the time traveled about 1mile. Rubber' strap was gone, we had to zip tie to get off, the ground straps were not hooked on. Make sure ALL blankets ordered are in bag. We ordered 6, got 5. Luckily we were able to use an army blanket we had.

Laquita W.I been getting charged for a storage I never used the seal is still on the unit I never broke it because I didn't like how the storage building look and it wasn't secured. I felt like my stuff wouldn't be taken care of in that storage facilities for it to be a climate control unit. Everytime I try to go to store to turn in key card it's always a long wait and the gentleman wouldn't just let us drop off the key card so my card been getting auto charged monthly $49.99 which I found out they from customer service that shouldn't been happening if they walked their units and saw I never took off there ziptie and never put my personal lock on. I will try and turn in key card again next week but I most definitely wouldn't recommend this climate control unit.

I was told to hold on to truck until I get a call back and that was at 10:45 almost 11:00. I missed important business meetings that day and damage had already been done to me. BRADLEY F. | First ImpressionsWhen I first moved in, I had to drive laps around the building to try to find where to unload my trailer because the directions from the front office were so poor. It wasn't until I found someone working in the back that I had better instructions and was shown how to access my unit. I was also told that I had to have the lock that U-Haul sold but saw several units with different locks, which meant I was clearly lied to. There were several times my access card failed to open the door, despite following the proper steps. The "loading dock" door routinely failed to close, leaving the facility unsecured. Items such as carts and the ladder (which was not easily moveable) were routinely left in the hallway, making it difficult to get to my unit without risking injury. When I'd ask the staff for assistance, I'd be met with an attitude like I was an inconvenience. Overall, the services I received was a ripoff for the price I was paying. I'd sell/donate everything I own before I stored with U-Haul again.

Katrina C. | Overall ExperienceWe had a good experience with you all up until we moved our things from your facility. We moved out in January 2021 even rented a truck from you all to do so. We have received text messages, emails and phone calls until March about late payments on the storage. I even called to talk to someone to tell them that we were no longer there and they said something was wrong with their system and it kept contacting old customers and he would fix the issue. Spoke with someone else and told her that we had been long gone, she informed me that we couldn't have moved out the correct way because they didn't have record of it, even though we rented the truck from them to move the stuff. They kept asking was the unit empty and was the lock gone. Of course both of those things had happened, but why didn't they know that and they work there. Needless to say I will never rent a space from this facility, way to much confusion once you have moved.

She also didn’t explain how to access the facility to get to my locker. The one working the yard was more helpful.

It was after the fact that I was informed that these lockers are mostly meant for college students with limited belongings. I barely got 1 bedroom set in the lower unit minus the mattress set. I was very disappointed. The only reason I gave the second star is due to the help staff. I would not recommend this particular site for storage for houses.
