Give clear instructions in advance on where to park the truck on return. My Uhaul truck said "Do not use gas with Ethanol" clearly marked. Yet ALL stations in the return area had only gas containing ethanol. We searched five stations and then gave up. On returning the truck the agent said "it doesn't matter".Steven T.

I rent from this location once a week and was charged $22.50 for gas when I returned the vehicle. I put exactly 35 miles on the pickup truck and I put 2 gallons of gas into it to bring the gas gauge back to the amount when I rented it. I left it in line for drop off and when I got the bill emailed to me they said the tank was empty. That was not the case and I have not been able to resolve this locally. I rent once a week from UHaul and am disappointed in this transaction. I expect credit for the $22.50CHRISTOPHER B.

Waiting time was too long (9:30- 10:15) even if we had reservation and the fact was not made clear to us that mobile pickup is the only quick way. It is the only unsatisfactory thing though. The truck was good and the cart was extremely useful.JINHUI S.

The return check in was great. Didn't even have to go into the store. The return check-in person met me in the lot, checked out the trailer, put the information into his hand held computer and I had a receipt in my email when I got home. Great customer service!!!!JERRY S.

I originally went to another U-Haul location on Phlio in Urbana and was told the trailer want not available as the previous renter would not bring it back. Aisha the manager did a wonderful job finding me another trailer which was a bit larger for the same price. She was outstanding. The young gentleman at the Champaign location was very helpful in getting the reservation swapped between locations and he also was excellent. I thought this experience was going to be problematic at first but these 2 individuals saved the day. Thanks!KEVIN E.

I was charged $335.89 for supposed damages to a part of the truck that I never came into contact with during my move. I did not see this damage, a supposed dent in the wood paneling, prior during my inspection of the truck, so I did not report damages. And because I paid for the $14 protection coverage, and not the $28 coverage I am apparently at fault. From my perspective, this was a predatory practice to take advantage of my not seeing prior damages, and to charge me significantly more than my rental alone. I have already paid for the â€œdamagesâ€ and apparently nothing can be done about the situation. And I know losing one customer likely means nothing, but I will never be using U-Haul again for any type of service due to this situation.Clark C.

I was on a deadline, chose to use mobile pick up and the key wasn't in the key box like the app indicated. I had to wait in line for a substantial amount of time to get my key that should have just been in the box. Finally out of frustration I found someone outside to help me. I'm afraid I may have been a bit rude and I apologize, but this all could have been avoided if this basic step was followed.EVAN K.

When I got my hitch installed they said it would take 2-3 hours. but it ended up taking 6+ hours. I dropped it off at 11:30am about and didn't leave the store with my car until 6pm. They also forgot to give my my ball hitch mount. They were way understaffed and the line seemed long. Nothing they can do about the understaffed issues. but I was upset about the hitch installation. My first attempt before the actual installation I showed up and they didn't even have the hitch ordered or deceived tot he shop. I had ordered it a week before my appointment and I did not receive a call or anything. The second time I was in the store it took 6+ hours for the installation. Im just upset about the time and lack of communication. Was not called or email or anything. They day of the installation I had to call them and get a check in after 3+ hours of waiting. Very frustrating and I am glad I will not live in Champaign anymore because I won't have to deal with that uhaul location. I just wish they would have called me and updated me. Or even give my a discount on the installation?Jack M.

Picking up was pretty easy, but there was a miscount on the furniture dollies in their system, so the two I requested were not actually available. But, Jae (the owner, I believe) after explaining the mistake and apologizing called a nearby supply store for me to see if they had any in stock. That was helpful because buying two from that other store actually cost the same as renting two from U-Haul. Jae was efficient and professional during a very busy time.Steven L.
