Make sure you give the right vehicle to the right people. I was given the wrong van and was only contacted after I had started loading and was told I had to return it immediately. I was offered no compensation for the hour I lost of the time I rented it and I contacted them as they have not taken payment yet and was treated very poorly by the woman I spoke too. I would not recommend anyone to go here.

The trailer had mud caked on the front and sides, and debris inside from the previous renter. The staff were nice enough…but while I was trying to complete the rental process with a more soft spoken rep, another employee came up to the terminal right next to us and loudly made a call to another customer on speaker phone. It was unprofessional and slowed down the service I received because I couldn’t hear the rep that was helping me. I say I would recommend this location because they do have a fairly clean store, conveniently located, and a large selection of equipment and supplies.

The female that greeted me was on a personal phone call when she walked up to my car and it was clear it was an inconvenience to help me. In fact another gentleman motioned for her to hang up and she told him she got this, and then continued talking while trying to help me. When she did help me, she was rude and unprofessional. I tried to explain to her I had never backed a trailer up before and she said “well I’m not driving your vehicle” and walked off to the area she told me to pull my vehicle, while on the phone and talking to the other employee ABOUT her personal call. In the end, a third employee did come back the trailer in to a space as they were sending the trailer right back out, but I have never been treated so poorly or had such horrible experiences at any of the UHAUL locations I have been to. If this had been my only experience, I would never be back, and I will never be back to this location.

The employees don’t know what they are doing. I rented a car carrier and they were too busy to show me how to safely secure a vehicle on the trailer. One employee told me it was his second day and didn’t know how the equipment worked. I ended up returning the trailer a few hours later because I didn’t feel safe towing a vehicle on the trailer. I was very disappointed and I am hesitant to rent from U-Haul in the future.

Our honeymoon was in Montana and we ordered our uhaul online, so it was random, we got our uhaul, and the state on the said was Montana. As we have many signs that prove we belong together this is a core memory we won’t forget using. Thank you uhaul!

Same thing as the first location, only difference was that they sympathized and tried to do their best from what they know how to do. The WHOLE STAFF is undertrained and don’t know how to execute their job.

I don't make recommendations, but the service was excellent. The truck was clean and handled well. The latches on the roll door could use some WD-40. The only thing I would quibble about is that we were sent out with 1/4 tank gas rather than the full tank I expected. It cost us about $15 more than necessary because we had to add fuel partway through the haul and estimated 15 gallons when we only needed 10. Seems like U-haul is taking advantage of free fuel by requiring the return to be at least 1/4 tank: now it'll go out at 3/8 tank and the next customer will probably fill more than they need. Not a customer friendly policy.

I told the worker exactly where I was traveling and ONLY traveled to and from the location to KC and back to Columbia. When I returned the exact same worker told me I was over my miles... He then argued with me when I told him that I had told him where I was going and he was extremely dumb and angry. The worker had no idea what was going on. I'm guessing combined the manager and worker had about 120 IQ. (they would be like "oh he thinks we are smart")

Harrison people that will stay off their telephone. I was greeted at the desk by somebody that was texting and FaceTime me during the entire transaction. He was working on the computer putting in my information he was FaceTime in and texting the guy sitting next to him didn't look up didn't say a word on his telephone. Thought we had the transaction finished handed me the paper. Where is the truck? I ask. He pointed out front while on his telephone. I went outside. It was raining. Walked around the trucks. The truck was not there. Got soaking wet. Came back inside, still on his telephone found the truck pointed it out to me last one closest to the road the furthest one away Still raining still on his telephone came bac. I have to drive in the truck for about two blocks. I noticed the gas was half empty. He was on half a tank that was fine because I didn't have far to go or really much to do with it, but I had always picked up a truck with a full tank and been expected to bring it back with a full tank so I called And they said that there was a mark on the paper where the gas was. I looked on the paper while driving it was between a half and 3/4 the mark the gas gauge on the truck was straight up 6 o'clock. I filled it back up to the mark on the paper spent more money than I should've went in. What do you know the guy was still on his telephone FaceTime And texting seem like a personable guy doesn't give a shit about his customers. I don't know what you gotta do about the telephone thing two guys were there constantly on their phone. The other guy was still there and didn't even look up again on his telephone. Another one came out we talked tried to help and I told him About the guy on the telephone. Don't know his name tall than dreadlocks. Wanna know how to improve your service rid of the guy

Van was clean up front, had some dirt/tracking in the back. Not a big deal there. But, I was clearly told my debit card would be processed as a hold only, as we wished to pay cash when the van was dropped off. The transaction was processed as a regular sale, and the fees were not held as promised. Because of this blatant lie (I have two witnesses), I will not use U-Haul again. It's worth more to me to pay extra and get better service. And, promises kept!

I rented a dolly only to find out when I got there they had none. Wasn't happy about that. Still waiting on my refund from my 203 I paid on Saturday. I also feel you should be told the money you pay on rental day is not applied to total bill and they hit your card on return day for overall rental so like me I have 400 + tied up til they refund my 203 dollars. The lady that rented to us was friendly and fast

Andrew and Jordan were really great! Jordan helped me get hitched up, and even followed up with me by text! Taylor was super enthusiastic to help my experience to be wonderful! Her attitude and sincere approach to make sure my experience was a great one, made me want to know her better! She clearly enjoys her job! Each and everyone of the staff at this location have been genuinely interested in helping to get me in and out in an efficient manner! I was able to use a hitch that I already had on the first day of pick up, but I came back the next day to purchase one that made the trailer ride more level, and because I was making more trips back to my old house, and the driveway caused the trailer to drag. It was Taylor who helped me to change that out, and she just got right in there like a trooper, clearly knew what she was doing and made me feel like she felt my move and everything I was doing to make it happen was important to her. Her personality is unbelievable for this work. Another young man and another woman have helped me on other occasions in this past week, and I have nothing but great things to say about all of the stuff. Thank you so much as there have been so many moving parts related to getting my move done, due to difficult logistics with getting out before my renters arrive at my old house, even though I couldn’t get in my new house until after my renters arrived at the old house. That meant that my furniture and belongings were loaded on the driveway and I had several trips to and from Columbia and Moberly, and I was able to just call the staff if I had a question or needed to change something. As a matter of fact, I got on this app this morning at 3:05 AM, with the intention of extending the trailer rental, because in all of the mini working parts of this move, I realize that I failed to extend my contract to keep the trailer and extra day! I’m so very sorry about that. I’m trying to adjust that on the app right now, and I sure hope no one else was wanting the 4 x 7 open trailer that I have in my possession beyond my agreed-upon timeframe. Thank you, thank you thank you Kristin Mosley, 660-788-1344. Ps: I never met Kia, but she delivered three boxes to my driveway, and followed my request very specifically on where to put them, as they would not have been moved until after my new movers brought in a 26 foot U-Haul from Washington state to move in before those got hauled off. It was like four days later, after she delivered them that I realize she had called me and left me a message or voicemail to confirm the spots, but I had missed the call, and didn’t see it till later.

The app check in was time consuming. The key was supposed to be in a lock box outside. The code did not work to get the key. It took a long time to get a person to help me and then the key wasnt even in the box the employees had it. Waste of time.

The employee on duty Sunday morning, Anthony W., was terrific. He simultaneously handled two customers. It was seamless, and he was professional from beginning to end. Kudos to Anthony W. The undercarrage of the truck was caked in mud...could have used a wash before we picked it up. And one of the headlights was out. But the truck ran well and the people working at the location were excellent!

I drove the truck 15 miles to simply move some furniture. I hardly used any gas, but put in $5 anyway just to make sure that it was back where it needed to be. Then when I got the bill, there was an additional $17 charge for more gas. I feel robbed.

The only thing I would change is the unit requested. The unit I was assigned was an indoor entrance which was nice to stay out of the weather bc while organizing the unit but carrying items through two doors and down that hallway was not ideal. The carts supplied were a lifesaver but next time I would request closer to the end of the building or an outdoor access unit.

I did not like having to provide a copy of my drivers license and a photo. I have been renting from U-Haul for years and never had to have my license and a photo stored in U-Haul. Databases. I understand presenting photo ID but not for UHaul to keep.

My unit was paid up until August 29,2024. No one tryed to contact me from u haul they told my son who was not on the lease agreement I was the only one on the lease I should have been contacted. They're saying I owe u haul $57.00 I'm not paying it they owe me money. I'm contacting an attorney and see if I have grounds for a lawsuit against your company. I paid every month and I should have personally been notified you where overlocking my unit!!!

The storage was fine the truck rental however charged nearly 3 times what we were told. Also claimed a cleaning fee even though we used the same truck as a month before and it was in the exact same shape as when we dropped it off including the 2 hand print stains that were on the windshield the first time we picked it up. They claim the cleaning fee will be refunded but as of 2 days later it has not.

The employees are very rude. I was put on autopay by an employee without my approval. I called once and talked to the manager and explained to him that my rent would be late, I asked him not to run my card payment because the funds wouldn't be there. 5 days later my card was still charged causing me overdraft fees. I called back and he reversed the transaction which took 4 days and then I was charge more late fees. They are incompetent and don't communicate well with eachother. I was paying for a gated facility but sometimes the gate was wide open and within the last 6 months the gate had been removed. I wouldn't suggest anyone use this facility.

When I was moving stuff out of my storage one day I forgot a box sitting out and they put it inside and made sure it wasn't tampered with that box had my bank account info in it thank God for the staff noticing the box and helping me out I would strongly recommend them

A number of things. First, we did not have a code to get into the secured area where the storage was located. So we had to wait until the one guy working there came over to punch the code in to get us in. Then we drive in and head to the back where the storage was located to find a lock on his door. So I drove back out of the secured area to find out you needed a code to get out! We had no code. We could not communicate with anyone because there was no one around. The call button on the code pad did not work so we stood there waiting for about 30 minutes until some guy loading his own stuff outside the gated area went and got someone for us. So then we got out and had to wait for another guy to figure out how to get the lock off. That took another 20 minutes until he finally found a key. Then he gave us a code to use to get in and out so the rest was ok.

We went in to pay for a unit and had it all set up. Later, we went to the unit to start putting stuff in and it was locked. There was a lot of back and forth before we were given a different unit. Through all the confusion, the man who finally fixed the issue was very helpful and courteous.

Was never able to log in online to pay my Bill, was told my email wasn’t in the system yet I received an email about a late fee. Every. Single. Time I tried to go to my storage unit there were huge uhual trucks blocking my unit preventing me from getting things I needed.

For whatever reasons, we were unable to access our unit for 2 days because the storage facility and the parking lot at the u-haul center was overflowing with u-haul trucks. We were able to get in if there were staff there to move trucks out of our way, but the route to the storage area entrance was blocked off by trucks for 3 or 4 days in a row, severely limiting our ability to move our items out of storage after work.

The only negative I can say is that the unit’s lighting timer is too short. It’s well lit for about 5 minutes and then it goes off. The unit is very secure and very clean. The staff went above and beyond to make our move easier. Tammy, Abdul and Cam are the best! This is a great location and I highly recommend.

The price is just more expensive. For example, my 10 by 10 ended up being 120, at another place I could get 10 by 20 for 125. The service at this place was always good though. Thank you!
