The truck was in great shape and everything was in working order. The only issue I had was the office staff on the day I went in was extremely slow and did not appear to know what was going on. To be fair, my expectation was to say, "hello, I have a reservation," then be told of the terms, conditions, and other essential information about renting a vehicle from Uhaul and have my keys handed to me. I arrived at 7am, waited in line (there was one person in front of me) for 20 minutes, then after speaking to a representative, waited another 20 minutes to receive my keys for a reservation I made a week in advance because the representative kept having to go outside to check on something. Otherwise, a great experience and I loved the return procedure run through the mobile website. Fair and upfront pricing as well. I will definitely rent again through Uhaul.

We had a very poor experience with the self-service equipment pick-up. We had requested a van for 7:30. When we came to pick it up and logged into the self-serve website, we were informed that no equipment had been assigned to this order. There was a 24-hour number to call. It went to voicemail. The message said to leave a voicemail or text. We did both and never received a response. Our next step was to call UHaul's 800-number for customer service. The woman on the line was also unable to contact anyone at this location. She changed our reservation to 9:00 AM (which was when the location opened). At this point, we went ahead and moved what we could without a van because our friends had been ready to help us (assuming we'd have the van at 7:30). When we went to get the van at 9, there was a long slow-moving line and only two employees available to help. We did not get a van until 10:30 (three hours after our scheduled reservation). We were now moving our heaviest furniture in 90+ degree weather, which is what we intended to avoid in the first place. I will NOT be recommending this location to friends and family. I will be using a different company for future moves. We wasted time waking up early to get ready for the van at 7:30 and driving back and forth from the pick-up spot (which was about 15-20 minutes away from our home). We also wasted time waiting on the van to arrive because service was so slow (90 minutes waiting in line). Not to mention wasting the time of our friends who were helping us move.

My bill was twice as much as what was quoted to me on the website. In the process of moving and had a set budget to complete it and this double in piece nearly ruined my moving day. Will probably look for a different option in the future.

I walked into the office and was literally chastised by a grumpy overweight white woman sitting at a desk for coming inside the office to check in the trailer. She berated me for not checking in with the person outside who was helping other customers and was not seen when I walked in. She refused to get off her chair and help in anyway. I then walked to the door in search of this mystery employee who then entered the office and she then yelled at me "see there he is!" Unreal. Now, the young man African-American man (telling you race for id purposes only) helping outside was extremely nice and apologetic for the total rudeness displayed by the woman inside who I presume was the manager; because when apologizing he stated she sits in her chair all day and refuses to help, which I can confirm seems accurate. The woman is an awful representative for U-Haul and should be subject to disciplinary action. If it was my employee she would be fired immediately.

Made the reservation online and I wasn’t given the option for One Way. I had reserved a 17’ Truck. When we went to pick up the truck I was given a different price (higher) because the reservation didn’t state One Way and I was given a 26’ which I wasn’t too comfortable with because I knew space was going to be an issue at the apartment complex we were moving a daughter to downtown Kansas City, Mo. Needless to say, I was absolutely right! I couldn’t back up the U-Haul to the dock for the apartment complex due to the streets were narrow and if I had the 17’ truck I would able to back it up. So, we had to drive around and a wait for a decent parking spot on the street and unload the truck which was a block away. Why reserve online, then day of pickup oh I’m sorry we don’t have a 17’ that you had reserved but we are going to upgrade you at no charge, well you’re really not doing me a favor and after the move you screwed me for the fact that we weren’t able to use the dock at the apartments and had to carry all items a block away then had to use the main entrance for the apartments which was a struggle. I should just have used our trailer and especially when I had to pay more then what I was given for the quote on line! Defiantly will not use U-Haul next time!

When I arrived I had done a self check in they were unaware how a self check in works. The vehicle I reserved was also unavailable so I had to take another vehicle. The vehicle I used instead was reported stolen and the found by this uhaul location and I had to be reassured I would most likely not get pulled over. It took a very long time to get my vehicle, I was very disappointed that my vehicle requested was not available. I will probably not use uhaul again.

Have reservations ready on time and reserved equipment ready to go. Our lock on our U-box was broken, this should have been fixed before we arrived. We waited one hour for them to attach the box to the trailer, even with an 8am reservation. Once we returned we waited an hour for the box's lock to be fixed. While waiting to attach the u box our rental tim was ticking away. We lost one hour of time without even having a truck or boxes.

The online self check out did NOT work. I ended up wasting 30 mins on a day when I m supposed to be moving- which is very aggravating. The location is understaffed and it took even longer to see some one at the counter for help. I cant understand if the self ONLINE check out system does not work, why is it offered!

Several Staff helped with pick up and drop-off of the truck. They all did a great job. We left an item in the truck, and the next morning I went to store and a staff person immediately went to the truck and got our item. Thanks!

the Self Service App is very confusing and you do not know if you have a self service reservation until you start the app at the time of pickup, and then find out the uhaul dealer may have not made any equipment available. Please make the app more definitive on whether equipment is actually available at least 24 hours before the reservation.

I called ahead to reserve a truck and it was ready to go when I arived. I was pleased with how clean the truck was for loading my personal items. The truck size they provided was adequate. Returning was smooth and easy, although they were extremely busy and the wait time was a bit long. Overall experience was good for a stressful move. I had the worst experience i have ever had moving not because of service but because the truck we rented was hardly road worthy..It shook, and barely made it there and back..it felt like the wheels would fall off..the girl that helped was pleasent enough but they forgot the dolly and furniture pads in my truck and i had to return to pick them up...overall moving is enough of a headache without throwing in these things..i did tell them about the issues with the truck but they did not seem to take me seriously..i am hoping that they have this looked into with a 26ft truck and an inexperienced driver this could be a deadly situation.. I believe that the alignment was seriously out on this truck causing the issues that we had driving..
