Equipment rental and check out takes a long time, almost an hour,

I went to this location to rent a pick-up truck for the day. While getting my reservation pulled up on the computer, the clerk stopped to help other clerks. When we did go out, after purchasing insurance, the clerk pulled the truck around and was about to send me on my way. I asked if we could do a walk-around with the vehicle, and he told me that was not necessary, as they inspect the trucks upon return. When I insisted, I noted that the cab was dirty (stains on the seats and floors) as was the bed. Additionally, there was a deep scratch on the truck. More disturbingly, I discovered that the odometer was approximately 1,000 miles off from my printed contract. The clerk said he would fix it and opted to give me a different pick-up truck. The other truck also had issues, including a TPMS indicator that would not turn off, even after he had filled the tires. I have rented trucks from U-haul across the nation and this was, by far, my worst experience. This center has a lot of packing equipment, so while I might purchase goods from here in the future, I will not rent a truck from here again if I can avoid it.

My only complaint is that due to construction, the truck was not available for pickup at the designated time. We luckily caught an off-duty employee who was able to reach his supervisor. Had the employee not been there, we had no method to contact anyone (as the app was less than helpful) and no hours of operation or phone number provided.

Full tank of glass & car wash before pickup Return processing was quick but charged for gas. 3/8 on checkout is difficult to match on return. I had it between 1/4 & 1/2 but was still charged for fuel.

I was given a truck and very very bad condition it's not safe at all to be out on the road in that truck and I had to take it out on the highway, it was very unsafe and uncomfortable driving on the road lots of popping and noises through the whole truck the truck also had a headlight broke out and a tail light out, no I did not have to pay a deposit but it also should have been at half the price for the truck they had me use, I was just very unsatisfied yeah I would tell my friends to come and use a U-Haul as long as they don't give him a truck that looks like they're probably going to die in when they pull out!!

Unfortunately, the initial hook-up of the trailer was problematic (not secure enough). Once the equipment was reconnected and secured there were no problems; driving from mid Missouri to southern Florida driving went smoothly.

I made the reservation on the phone with this Uhaul location. The girl took my credit card info since we were having a friend pick up the van for us. When the van was to be picked up first they couldn’t find the reservation. Our friend had to call me a second time because they didn’t have my credit card info on file. The guy trying to help me had me repeat my credit card info 4 times because he couldn’t figure out how to charge me. Finally he asked for some help and a different person was able to help me. It was a total mess. Not very happy but at least the van worked well for what we needed.

This was the worst moving experience I have ever had specifically at this location. I walked in the store and there was loud music with profanity where all customers could hear. The lady helping me had tattoos exposed and was extremely rude and incompetent. She didn't inform me on any of the process as far as gas refill, how to open truck, where the keys were, which location to return it to in texas. I was extremely dissatisfied with my experience and will never go back again to Uhaul because of the one I had. To follow up, I picked the vehicle up in the morning, proceeded to load all of my belongings and began my trip. I then noticed that the truck did not have air conditioning and I did not have time to return truck and transfer items. I DROVE FROM MISSOURI TO TEXAS WITH NO AIR CONDITIONING!. This is extremely unacceptable!!!! Because this was a corporate move there is really nothing I can do but if it would have been personal I would definitely demand I receive my money back.
