Where do I begin.... 1. The employee helping me had terrible customer service, she had no knowledge of the storage units or anything regarding uhaul. She could not answer any questions I had. An example of a question she did not know the answer and did not do anything to obtain the information for me; "How do you access the storage units that are not on the ground floor" 2. She was slow and very unhelpful 3. Yolanda at this location told me over the phone that if I had the truck back before 7 pm that I would not be charged an extra day. But i was still charged an extra day. 4. The units are over priced and the location is unsafe. 5. My unit door barely would go up and down, we had to switch out of 2 units before getting the right one because the employee booked me the wrong unit 2 times in a row.

The equipment was clean and the employees helping us were helpful and nice. My only complaint is that the trailer had a flat tire (small rusted nail was in the tire) that we discovered after parking it at our hotel, which was after about a 8 mile drive. U Haul mobile service took care of it quickly though.

From the time of dealing with customer service, I was very please with their patience and concern of my needs. The person advised that he was fairly new there but, I couldn't tell because I think did a good job getting me taken care of. I appreciated him making sure I had the size storage that I needed and taking me to it. He tried to find a storage that would be very convenient for me to get to. I appreciated that.

I had two uboxes that were to be shipped together from California. One arrived on time, while the other was marked to be stored in CA. First, let me say that everyone I spoke to along the way, both in CA and AL (or wherever I was calling), was extremely helpful. After many phone calls and transfers, my second ubox eventually shipped but when it got to Birmingham, it was again marked for storage, not for delivery to my house. I was told they couldn't deliver it for 3-4 weeks even though I had a reservation #. I decided to rent a truck and unload it myself. The issue seems to be a communication one. Everyone I spoke to seemed to be making sure they were putting in notes and entering information correctly but it didn't show up on the other end, causing me to have to call multiple times, going thru the phone system and on hold for 10-20 minutes each time, as well as being transferred multiple times to get it resolved. Everyone I have spoken to has been caring and helpful but this has been an extremely frustrating process. Thank you, Nanette Hart

I hired 2 helpers through your site to help between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.. They didn't show up. They called at 1:00 p.m. to tell me they were on their way. I cancelled them. They worked for Precise Helpers (Job # JB - 261885AA). I do not recommend Precise Helpers.

Truck had the engine check light on. No one had the ability to resolve it and no additional trucks to exchange. The truck made it to it's location but it seemed to have issues. Other than that, it's good.

When I called the day before pickup to ask what time the containers would be picked up, I got conflicting answers. One person said 9AM-12PM and another said 5pm-10pm. As it turns out, no one showed up that day to pick up the containers, because apparently no one told the driver about the pickup. Luckily he was able to come the day after in the morning, which was right before I was moving away. Everything ended up working out, but I'm hoping that was a rare occasion because aside from that the process was pretty smooth.

I got the truck on empty, put gas in and returned it above where I left it and didn't get a credit. Other than that, it was a good experience.

Clean the truck cup holders. The 24/7 truck share app needs improvement. Mileage and Fuel vitrifaction picture isn't viewable after submission.

It was not necessary for us to use the truck and we turned around and brought it directly back. However we still had to pay for the rental of the truck that we didnot used. Round trip we only travel 6 miles. We are a Non-profit organization and are picking up food to give to the needed.

My original location was changed and moved to the 28th st location. I didn't receive notification of the change until I went to my original choice and they told me I needed to go elsewhere also I couldn't pickup the van when I requested I had to come back at a later time. I don't feel this is the specific fault of the locations but a mistake on uhauls part in regards to notifying the renter what they should do.

But really a touch less approach at this office. The online phone based upload of my drivers license did not work. The office worker there grabbed my license from my hand and had to swipe it in the machine. She also had to renter my credit card all over again. Not sure how much of this is her lack of training with the tech and how much is problems with the software.

The lady at the counter was not all that helpful- gave short answers and didn't seem concerned with anything I asked about. Luckily, there was a young man outside who helped us to back our trailer up- he was patient and kind.

I went by twice in person to ensure my truck would be ready. Even went through the app to Ag an appliance hand truck. When I got there, they did not have my one way truck in ANY size and no hand truck. I had to return the truck the same day. That cost me mileage and precious time. I have to move stuff from storage soon and will ABSOLUTELY never use U-HAUL AGAIN!

Waited for someone to come to the front desk for 20 minutes. I was the only one in the store. Lady forgot her login information and continued to ramble to her friend about it for 10 more minutes. Picked up her cell phone and proceeded to talk to her friend. Wiped her nose with her bare hand as I handed her my license. Took 20 more minutes just to get my trailer. I got there 50 minutes before my pickup time and still left at my pickup time. Will not be back.

I had a great experience with uhaul and ubox but there really should be a direct phone number for customer assistance because the 30 minute wait times are ridiculous for an already active customer.

I didnt get my utility doll or furniture dolly it took longer for us to move they took price off for one day stll charge me for next day customer Service were poor she wanted to email me my receipt I told her noI will wait .It took us loner because we didnt have dolly.I was only 35 minutes late and i was charge for a extra day. My card was overcharged. I didn't even want the U-Haul for 24 hours but on my receipt it said I had it for 24hours I only had it for about 7-8 hours if that. I was overcharged for gas and mileage

This location charged me an extra day - I dropped the truck off on the same day it was rented, early. They charged me $50 for gas - the truck had a quarter tank of gas when I received it and it had the same level when returned.

I went into the store to inquire about drop off since I had reserved online. The associate told me to just pull the truck under the canopy, and they will get it checked in for me. Hallelujah!! It doesn't get any better than that! Thank you!!

Overcharged by a factor of roughly 10, impossible to reach a human to resolve this issue in less than 20 minutes. The online chat was absolutely useless. Either the local office is staffed with incompetent or fraudulent employees.

The U-Haul reservation center sent me to this location specifically, even though it was out of my way, because they had the size trailer that I needed. When I arrived, I was told that they didn't actually have the size trailer that I had reserved. Uggh! Why send me there if they didn't have it? I then had to get a smaller trailer than I reserved. I hooked it up and the lights didn't work. I checked the lights on the second one before hooking it up. As I got ready to leave I realized that the door to the trailer wouldn't close. The 3rd trailer was in working order. Also, apparently the workers never completed my order in the computer. I received 2 calls asking me when I was going to pick up my trailer... after I picked up my trailer. My experience returning the trailer was much better. The manager, Yolanda, was there and she was fantastic. I told her of the issues and she made the return experience much more pleasant.

Got 20 miles from the location and noticed the gas gauge was 3/4 full, however the paperwork indicated a full tank. To far to go back and stay on schedule. On return I just filled up the tank so I would not have to go through a hassle

No one helped unhitch the trailer. I had to back the trailer in a spot and do the unhitch myself. No problem for me but consideration for someone who doesn't know how or is strong enough.
