Julianna H.The Haul and the staff at this location were fine. But prior to this, I had reserved a 24/7 pickup from the Highland Park Shell station. However, I got there and discovered my reservation had been coded as "hand delivery." The truck was parked, but no one had the key, including the gas station attendant. There was also no code for me to use on a lock box. It was a huge disaster and inconvenience. Luckily, the Haul customer support employee called me back and got me a new reservation, so all wasn't lost. However, this was a pretty inconvenient way to start my move.

VIVIAN I.I couldn't believe the level of unprofessional service that received.The only thing that was prompt an on time was when they asked for the payment.I was on hold for an hour saying all of our customer service representative was busy assisting other customers at 7:00am highly unlikely.Just another lie.In lieu of going on line to fill out my account info.it wouldn't allow me to complete.Still haven't gotten the truck but they got my money betcha that!!!

CATHERINE M. | Overall ExperienceFirst I was given bad information about business hours so the evening of pick up I called to see if I could come 30ty min later the gentleman on phone said no I needed to be there at pick up time 7pm so I get there waited to be acknowledged 725 to clerk bringing up reservation telling me that the truck 26ft I reserved over a month ago was not available they had smaller ones so I told him when I called at 630 he checcked res.he should of notified me then he stated they had been out of trucks all day. So he calls traffic and tells me to call uhaul reservation to see if they can help we both on hold as time passes now I'm in Alabama to do my daughter first babyshower from Calif so they say at 750 Pelham has truck where ever that is and they closing in 10min so he gets on phone will general manager Paul he said give me small truck but I have to return it at 8am next day because it's reserved for some one ridiculous I.m returning it in 24hrs the young clerk Kindle was his name did everything within his power to satisfy me as a customer as he baby sat his lazy co worker Paul #2 If it wasn't for Kindle I would never patronize this uhaul ever they need better system for inventory if there out of truck call customer earlier to give other choices not allowing them to come in a get stressed out they have your phone number email address the truck I got was smaller but we made it work only drove about 15miles total and over a hour of stress . Hat's off to Kindle co work need to be replaced general manager better customer skills and stay on top of inventory Thanks Carla

After arriving the staff had me to sign a form and showed me where to park so they could hookup the 5x8 trailer and when it was complete they checked the lights to ensure that the brakes,turning signal and hazard lights worked..They tested it and found that it was my vehicle....he said pop your hood,and he fixed what the problem was for free and said you all have a great evening and be safe..

I've always been told I could keep the truck 24 hours before being changed twice. This is a rip off! I called & spoke with a rude (woman) representative who gave no insight. If someone from corporate would call me, it will be greatly appreciated.

katherine M.The storage part of the store closed early one night and was locked when I brought a full load ready to unload at my storage unit. I had checked the hours online, as well as called the location to confirm the hours, before I went to load up my trailer to bring to the storage unit. The employee I talked to on the phone informed me that it closed at 7, which matched what it said online. When I got the storage unit around 6:40 the outside doors were locked. I called the store and talked to the same employee, and she told me that it was closed and that she never said it was open til 7 and that I would have to wait until 9am the next day. I begged and tried to plead my case on the phone for them to just come open it for a few minutes so that we could unload our stuff. They refused and argued back. Terrible customer service. They then locked the doors to the store and said it was closed too so that we could not talk to them in person. It would have maybe taken 10 minutes tops for us to get everything unloaded and into our unit. Instead, because of that employee, I had to bring all the stuff back to where I had gotten it and unload it and wait til the next day to do it all over again. Pretty ridiculous, especially after I had called to confirm the times just to make sure nothing like that would happen. Cannot support this location in the future with employees and practices like that

Seth J.Last minute was told I had to pick up at this location which is 13 miles further away from the Uhaul store I originally reserved my van from and was told it was “guaranteed†to be available. Employee behind the counter was laughing at me when I told her it was frustrating to be told to drive 22 miles with such a short notice to pick up the van. Returned the van to the location I originally reserved the van from and then got a call that I would be charged $220 for returning the truck to the “wrong†location. I wasn't ever told I'd be charged or anything. Had to drive all the way back to the store I dropped the van off at and then had to drive it back to this rotten store to avoid the egregious “wrong location charge.†Unbelievably frustrating experience and will never rent a truck from this location ever again. I don't leave reviews for places but this was such a rancid experience that I felt it was my civic duty to tell the world of how bad this place was.

Quinella D.Was told the storage units were open til 7pm on Saturday’s when I signed up. Called around 5:30pm on Saturday just to make sure facility would be open til 7 and also checked online. Was told 7pm again. Showed up with a full trailer of things to put into storage around 6:40 pm and the door to the storage entrance was locked. Called the front office and they told us they close at 6:30 and they said that they never told us they close at 7. That was only the beginning of the rude conversation. (I know the workers were just trying to skip out of work early.) They also then locked the doors to the main area so that we couldn’t talk to them in person. Because they wouldn’t allow us the couple minutes to unload all of our stuff and put it into our storage unit, we had to bring it all back to where we got it from and unload it again. Will have to do it all over again at another time because of the employees. Because of this, I can never recommend this location to anyone.

Unfortunately our car was not getting power to the trailer for lights and blinker. The attendant Yolanda not only patiently worked with us to figure out the problem but did it in the pouring down rain and assured us we would figure it out. She never once got frustrated and helped several customers in between helping us. THANK YOU YOLANDA for your kind, outstanding service. The Wilsons.
