One of the worst experiences, no professionalism whatsoever. Listed MovingHelp is even worse. Scheduling dates were changed multiple times on its own even with invalid information like the empty uboxes were delivered on a day to starting location after the date the boxes were already loaded and picked up back to ship. I have previously had great experiences at this location- the ladies who used to work here were great. For this particular reservation, I made the mistake of forgetting I needed to pick up my rental and was about 60 minutes late when I called the store, realizing my error. I have never done this before, and I rent multiple times a year for my business. I got on the phone and started by apologizing, explaining that it had just slipped my mind and I was so sorry, and said since the store was still open for an hour, I would be there in 10 minutes as soon as I could be. The man on the phone cut me off, telling me in a rude tone that my reservation had been cancelled since I didn't come within 30 minutes (UHaul's overall policy is 60 minutes, but stores get to decide their own policies, so this one is 30 minutes.) I apologized again, asking why it had been cancelled, and I asked if the van had been rented out in the time that I'd been late- he said no. I asked if they were still open- he said yes. I then asked if there was any way I could still come to the store and re-reserve the van I had rented. He started yelling at me and told me that I couldn't rent it again, so I asked why that was, since if my original reservation was for 2 days, and it hadn't been re-rented in the last 30 minutes, it should still be available for me to rent. He just kept yelling and escalating, and I was getting upset, so I finally just got really calm and quiet and said â€œSir, I'm just asking for you to have a little grace with me. I completely forgot, I've never done that before, it was an honest mistake and I wasn't trying to ruin your day or mess anything up for you at all. I'm a wedding florist and I really need this van to be able to execute the two weddings I have this weekend. Is there any way that you could please let me rent it again?â€ He then, still angry, told me I could only rent it if I would come at 7am the next morning when they opened (although they were still open for another hour that night.) Figuring this was my only chance to rent a van, I said okay thank you, I will be there in the morning. He wasn't there the next morning, and the rental went smoothly thankfully. I didn't feel like I could address anything with the manager that checked us out for fear that I wouldn't be allowed to rent the van. I have honestly never been treated so rudely on the phone before. I realize I made a mistake by missing my reservation time, and I started right off the bat by fully apologizing for this. I was met with yelling, resistance, and hostility and had to figure out how to de-escalate the situation myself. I would maybe understand yelling at me like this or refusing to help at all if I had started off yelling, accusing, blaming him, or anything like that, but it was the opposite. I'm not sure if he had just had a long day, just got really frustrated I was late, or what, but none of that was an excuse to treat me the way he did. I completely understand cancelling the reservation since I was late, but he could have just told me that firmly and professionally (and good customer service would have been offering me what he could do, which was letting me rent it again). I have had several instances lately with this location specifically and with UHaul in general that have been horrible customer service, and I am doing my best to find other rental companies for my business to use the 20 times a year we need cargo vans, because I don't want to ever work with Uhaul again.LAUREN R.

Too many "small" fees that add up. Nothing advertised as $20 should end up costing over $100. I was charged by the mile, then put gas back in the car, then was charged again for two gallons of gas at over $5 per gallon even though the gas gauge was where it was when i picked up the uhaul. Absolutely ridiculous. Because of this i would only recommend uhaul as a last resort unless you have a bunch of money to throw around and like getting ripped off. Also they try to nickel and dime you into buying things like bungee cords so if you do have to use them make sure you bring all of your own straps, covers, etc.William H.

When I went to pickup the truck I was never instructed to inspect the truck and gas gauge. When I arrived with the truck that is when I was instructed that I was suppose to check a link that was sent through a â€œtext messageâ€ so my overall suggestion for improvement would be to notify the customer that they would receive a â€œtext messageâ€ to verify and document what is needed to. I was also glad that I did have the knowledge to take a photo from my phone of the mileage and gas gauge because I was told that it was on a half of tank and it was actually on a fourth of tank before empty. I did visualize the female tell a customer that was picking up after I arrived though. Also she needs to work on her customer skills even when she is the only employee working. First off it wasn't any gas in it. I had to go to the gas Station before I could even handle my business. The mileage was entered wrong therefor when I returned it would not let me check the truck back in. It kept telling me that the mileage I was entering was lower than I started. So I had to call the 1800 uhaul wait 15 minutes for them to answer just for him to make notes to the account so they wouldn't charge me the $20 fee. Then I went back up there 8am the next morning to tell the manager what happened she said she would take care of it. I was charged $85.29 plus $155.89 so in total my card was charged for $241.18 which was incorrect I called twice she said she fixed it which she still did it wrong. I only went 107 miles total she had 207 that's why I was charged so much so I ended up going back up there. I walked in she said now what she want yes I heard her. I showed her the receipt she sent me which was wrong, so she refunded the total amount and I just paid cash cause I was tired off her running my card. Which my original balance was $139.96 I felt I should not have been charged at all for all the unnecessary things I had to deal with. So no I want return to this location or receded any one else to go there.JACQUICE D.

Try to charge you extra for anything. Don't supply things that were ordered. Acted like they couldn't rent a truck out when they had 4, had no problem reserving one online and walked right back in. Was mad I was 15 minutes late and still had 3 trucks left. Trying to charge me for storage when I moved out of my unit 1 day after payment was due and did notify them of my intention of moving out and rented the truck from them but won't cancel my unit so they can try and get more money out of me. The storage part of the store closed early one night and was locked when I brought a full load ready to unload at my storage unit. I had checked the hours online, as well as called the location to confirm the hours, before I went to load up my trailer to bring to the storage unit. The employee I talked to on the phone informed me that it closed at 7, which matched what it said online. When I got the storage unit around 6:40 the outside doors were locked. I called the store and talked to the same employee, and she told me that it was closed and that she never said it was open til 7 and that I would have to wait until 9am the next day. I begged and tried to plead my case on the phone for them to just come open it for a few minutes so that we could unload our stuff. They refused and argued back. Terrible customer service. They then locked the doors to the store and said it was closed too so that we could not talk to them in person. It would have maybe taken 10 minutes tops for us to get everything unloaded and into our unit. Instead, because of that employee, I had to bring all the stuff back to where I had gotten it and unload it and wait til the next day to do it all over again. Pretty ridiculous, especially after I had called to confirm the times just to make sure nothing like that would happen. Was told the storage units were open til 7pm on Saturday’s when I signed up. Called around 5:30pm on Saturday just to make sure facility would be open til 7 and also checked online. Was told 7pm again. Showed up with a full trailer of things to put into storage around 6:40 pm and the door to the storage entrance was locked. Called the front office and they told us they close at 6:30 and they said that they never told us they close at 7. That was only the beginning of the rude conversation. (I know the workers were just trying to skip out of work early.) They also then locked the doors to the main area so that we couldn’t talk to them in person. Because they wouldn’t allow us the couple minutes to unload all of our stuff and put it into our storage unit, we had to bring it all back to where we got it from and unload it again.
