Your after hours return is TERRIBLE!!!!! The site wouldn't open. After multiple tries it finally opened - doesn't mean it worked. It wouldn't upload the pictures it wanted. Before I picked up there was damage to the right side. The gas cap was missing. The cargo lights didn't work. The gas guage was at at a quarter. I put $30 in the tank which the fuel economy said the truck got 6 mpg and I went 50 miles. That should have put tank back where it was. They said it wasn't where it was supposed to be and charged me $30 extra dollars. What a ripoff scam. My guess is they are going to say I damaged the right side, too. But I and my son took 2 sets of pictures with dates and times, so I hope they don't try to do that.. fender was missing a substantial portion of fiberglass.Danny B.

The vehicle was due for an oil change at 14,000 milesâ€¦..I picked it up at 16,141 miles. I reported it immediately and was told I could take the vehicle to get the oil changed myself (because there was no one available). I made the staff aware I would be putting 850 miles on the vehicle and I was told they are aware of all their vehicle maintenance needs and I would be okay driving the vehicle. So, I drove my trip without incidents.Grace R.

The truck was dirty when we got it. It bounced when driving a lot! This location said it was ok to drop it off at any Uhaul location. Then I received a call stating it wasn't where it needed to be. I got charged for two extra days. I am sure hoping I receive my money back.Michelle R.

First of all I specifically rented a cargo van, because I was not comfortable with a box truck and I had driven one of the vans before. I was told it was changed to a box truck and I had no other choice. The truck was awful. The A/C didn't work. The knob on the handle to roll down the window was gone. The door had to be slammed to shut all the way. The gas cap was not attached. The brakes felt awful and when I did brake the steering wheel shook quite a bit. It was not a pleasant experience. However the employees at this location are always great.Lisa M.
I picked up the uhaul to drive across country (1000+ miles) and after the worker assured me that everything was inspected and ready to go. I walked out to the truck to find that the tires were completely bald. I specifically asked the worker about the tires before walking out to the truck and he assured me over and over again that it was thoroughly inspected. Even though it obviously wasn't.Jamison R.

I reserved my uhaul to be picked up from Omaha, Maple st and dropped off in Lincoln, NE, the quote and cost estimate was based on that rate. When I got there they told me in was a two way reservation, had to bring the truck back the same day or they did not have any other options. Which increased the miles to use Initial est was something like 154.00? and then when I paid it was 250.00 roughly. The catilidic converter had been taken off the truck by the local criminal element and again, "they had no other truck to give me". The whole lot was full then and upon my return. The ride and noise level was extremely harmful and it made for a terrible experience overall. The fumes alone was enough to give you a headache. Seems I've used Uhaul other times and each time something goes badly but this time it was costly and not customer friendly or thoughtful AT ALL> I'd rather of had my 1st estimate and a truck that was maintenancedJoann R.

Location is hard to access driving from west (west of 90th and Maple Street) to get into the entrance of parking lot/property due to no direct turn lane to the property. Only way to get there is make a U turn about a block east of the location.BRIAN B.

Check in took way too long. The person outside could not get the check in process to work, so I had to go inside and wait for 20 minutes because it was so busy, and only one person was working, and he was swamped. In the end, all that happened was I was asked if I paid via card, and since I did, I would get my final bill emailed to me. That's what should happen unless someone has a question or wants a printed copy. Otherwise there is no reason for me, or anyone else to wait, and in this case for over 20 minutes for 100% no reason at all.DONALD Z.
Location somewhat difficult to access, not much could be done to help, just navigating street controls and traffic. Did locate water leak on trailer due to traveling through rainy conditions. The pick up process was not as easy as it was presented. It wouldn't recognize my location even after following directions. I called but spent most of the time on hold. I did finally get it to work by using the app. Perhaps clearly list what will occur at check in as opposed to just saying you need a mobile device. Probably should be suggested up front. I purchased the 24 HR access to my storage unit, yet on two separate occasions I was not able to gain access. Not only that. I chose this location due to the fact it had an additional security fence around the perimeter. For over a month the gate to this fence was left wide open due to construction. I was never notified of this or that we wouldn’t have access due to construction/pouring concrete. I tried to reach the store by phone on multiple occasions, which is not possible due to the fact that I’m routed to a call center. After you wait on hold for 45 minutes the call center informs you that they know nothing about these units due to the fact that they are managed on the local level. Which it is impossible to reach them due to the fact all the calls are forwarded to a call center. In an effort to find answers I sent an email to the store with my questions about the security gate and not having access. My email was never responded to (over a 2 month period). I then receive an email and text notification from the store saying “there is an emergency with your storage unit, please contact us right away at 402-932-0440.” The number was incorrect. It’s is not the store number or any number for U-haul. Due to the message, I was concerned about the state of my items, especially since the number I called only ever ringed without answer. I took off work and drove to Omaha to find out what was wrong. Turns out nothing was wrong and my payment was just late. Upon arriving at the store and finding out that the store is apparently using emergency messages to trick people into coming into the store, I went over my issues. The response I received was that I must have not been doing it right because that was impossible for me to not have access. Even though the movers that I payed to move my items (for no reason since I couldn’t access to my unit) also tried multiple times. I closed my account and moved my items to another location. It is a shame to see U-haul having such poor business practices, especially when they used to have such high standards.SETH B. | Overall Experience

I needed to extend a one day rental to two days. I was told it would be an additional $19.95 plus the $10.00 insurance. Upon return of the van I was charged a $79.95 additional day charge. I was then told it was because I had driven more than 100 miles. I had indicated that I was would be driving 200+ miles at time of rental, and was not informed of any additional charges. I requested the additional charges on my billing to be reversed and was refused. I would not recommend anyone doing business here for these reasons.Michael G.

My reservation pick up location changed 3 times!! The last time was 30 minutes prior to pick up and we were already at a dif location which was 10 miles from where we made the original reservation. Not happy with this at all. The service was fine once we got to the right place but what is the point in confirming the day before if you change it literally as I'm standing at the location I confirmed with?Richard R.
