First I had a reservation for 3:30 the van didn't get there till after 3:30 the van smelled like cigarette smoke and the front window was so filthy it looked like some was poured all over it. The guy who checked me in disappeared to go smoke which caused me later in leaving and an extra hour on movers

When I was returning my rental. the first young man was nice and polite to me. Their was a second employee that came out to help. The first employee said to the second employee look. The second employee said yea the customer that was returning a truck he was a Douche bag. I guess he said that because of how the customer parked the truck.

Mouse poop, fallen insulation that appears moldy, and more spiders than anyone is comfortable with inside my unit. I visited my unit several times a year for nearly two years and there was always more mouse poop, fallen insulation, and spiders than my last visit. These units are filthy and disgusting and cost $15-$25 more than any non-Uhual nearby storage facility. A ludicrous five dollar price increase to “maintain superior cleanliness standards.” Military discount advertised on the website but I was told uhual doesn’t do military discount. I stayed there so long because it would cost more to move everything than to leave it be but with the very clear money grab from uhaul I decided moving elsewhere to be worth it.

My only complaint I would have is with the Uhaul customer service center. The first person I spoke too when trying to arrange the return did not know where i was at and sent me to the wrong drop off location. Second CS person passed me off to someone else who wasn't right either. Finally the 3rd person helped me and if that first person had listened I would have been sent to where the 3rd person sent me (only 5 minutes from where I originally was at) and saved me half an hour. I had a 6 hour drive ahead of me and really could have used that extra time.

got there and no one was in store. Waitied 10 minutes and other people came in. Finally someone came in. I was told to wait and he would wait on the people behind me first. Themn he told me he was to busy toi chek me in just leave it and they wouyld email me receipt. I said no I wanted someone to actiually check the truck first. , said okay and then was told would email me receipt. because they were to bisy to print one off.. Peple wer just stANDING OUTSIDE DOING NOTHING.

Firstly I was very disappointed to find out that Uhaul doesn't offer discounts one in particular is a military discount. I never understand why company especially of this stature who doesn't offer this courtesy to men and women who sacrifice for the freedom of this country. No only that, but it is a tax write off, so why wouldn't you?? Also it is very expensive. I recently had to move 90 miles round trip. Had to spend 140 to make that happen. I rented a cargo van from Hertz from VA to TN and it only costed me 400.00 . Round trip was roughly 1400 miles. I'm glad that I didn't have to use Uhaul for that move, because it would have been ridiculously expensive. I also didn't understand why renting a truck would have been .69 a mile, as opposed to the cargo van which is a lot smaller is .79 a miles. It seems excessive to require gas replenish and charge for mileage and on top of all of that, offer no discounts. I will never use Uhaul again when there are so many other competitors that have much better prices and discounts.

The ramp did not lock and sprayed sparks all over my wife's car almost causing a fire and then the brake lights threw sparks and shorted out twice. The truck we rented from UHaul for this move broke down twice and when you finally sent a tow truck to pick up the first truck they were unable to take the car dolly and it sat in my front yard for over a week. This experience with UHaul was horrible. We were told there were no repair companies in our area and they would need to come from OKC. This is ridiculous given Lawton is home to Ft Sill and there are many other military families like us who relocate often.

I got a 20 ft truck because its cheap. I stayed in town and moved, didnt go to another town or state. When I dropped truck off my ticket was somehow $53 yet truck I got was only $30. Guy told me about mi rate which Ive never been charged any of the other times ive used Uhaul. Thought you got charged mi rate if you left state or town. I used a smaller truck for a couple hurs and stayed in town for $53 is rip off! If I would have known about rate I wouldnt have gassed truck up for return. Yall were once good now yall some greedy bastards and during a time when Americas are struggling. Ill try to avoid you service from now on and tell others about mine.

The only issue I had was when I got the truck It only had a 1/4 of a tank of gas in it. I had to go put gas in it before I could do anything with it. I understand I only had to return it with the amount of gas I got it with but I don't understand how it had so low of gas in it. I felt like this was unexpected

Very knowledgeable individual when picking up trailer. He was very polite and courteous. We were to drop off at 441 Storage but they would not take the turn in due to no place to accept it. Had to take to another site Alcoa and was able to drop off. The individual was courteous and accepted the rental. I will use the establishment in the near future. Great service...

I recieved a truck with the engine light on. The truck was in despair and actually broke down while in transit. I then waited 3 hours to have someone come out and tow this vehicle with all my stuff inside.

The insulation inside the storage unit is falling down. The computer system needs an update and service by IT. It takes way to long to load. EJ and Randy (I think is his name) were extremely good with Customer service and ensuring my needs were met. I sincerely appreciate that!

The truck we had would lock on you when you got out due to button placement on the door. The key fob had a big plastic attachment that is awkward in your pocket . We were hauling brush to the dump and got locked out of the vehicle had no phone and the contract papers were in the vehicle. Was not able to receive any help from the Uhaul store I got it from, they have no extra key, and had no help to give me at all. I could not reach roadside assistance either once a worker had let me borrow a phone. I tried online and got nowhere there also. Uhaul was completely absent when it came to service and I do not intend to use them again.

the employee I spoke to was efficient, polite and knowledgeable. So your company gained a little respect back. He assisted me with parking the trailer, and took care of the appliance dolly fee. Not that it was this specific location but general about the process. I rented the trailer for a one way trip on a Thursday, and was authorized to keep it until Saturday, but was not given a credit for returning it on Friday. It seems like the fee would have been less by returning it a day early.

The staff was amazing friendly and fast. My problem was they sent me on a long distance cross country drive without verifying my lights worked on the trailer. I had the hitch installed and the electrical parts weren't working I had gotten pulled over the first night of my drive and after that was not able to drive at night so it took way longer to cross th country than I had planned for. Extremely frustrating and costly because I had to spend extra money on food and hotels.

You can make sure your site works on the weekends. We were unable to get the original truck we reserved because your site was worthless for check in. And don't get me started on your customer service line! We waited on hold 45 minutes and finally just gave up. If you're going to have online check in it needs to work. And you need to learn how to answer your phones. I'll be looking elsewhere for my next rental.

On the website it does not specify that a pick up truck and a van are NOT one way vehicles for this location. I even called before my pick up date to make sure it was okay to drop the van off at a different location. I was told this wouldn't be a problem. When I arrived I was then told that I had to bring the van back. Moving an hour away did not make this feasible. The other u haul locations nearby were closed so that limited my options. I had to upgrade to a bigger vehicle. The one with the same price was not available, so I had to upgrade to a vehicle two sizes bigger than what I needed. Not only did this process delay my moving time by 30 minutes, I spent twice as much money. I will need another moving truck in the next month. I will be looking at other moving providers.

"air-conditioned controlled" unit is not supposed 2get above 85degrees, but always was. Insulation falling down on my stuff inside the unit. "Access card" never opened the door
