Overall, I had a good experience. However, there was a problem with rodents getting into the unit and damaging several items. The units need to be upgraded because the insulation falls into the contents of whatever is stored inside. Although returning the uhaul in the early evening was a breeze and the associates were courteous. Picking up the uhaul was a hassle. I had a late morning pickup were I thought I had till after 11 to pick up the uhaul. The associate called me while I was waiting in line to pick up my reservation and I did not here my phone ring and he canceled the reservation because they set it for 10:30. So we proceed to redo the reservation and the dolly I reserved was no longer available. I got upset and walked out then came back in a few minutes later and decided to take the uhaul the associate acted like he didn't want to help me when they were the ones that initially messed up my reservation. They then proceed to help me and tell me I have to have it back by close now because they reserved it for someone first thing in the morning. The reserving the uhaul for someone else should not have been made known to me more should it have been my problem when they canceled my reservation with me standing in the lobby to pick it within the initial time I reserved it for. Also the uhaul I got had bugs all over the window and broken windshield. The cup holders were dirty and filled with animal hair.brondon S.

This was a very smooth operation. I pulled in, was greeted immediately by an outdoor worker, and dropped off the trailer. He then just scanned the trailer and I was on my way. My issue was when I returned the vehicle the evening prior to the returned date. We put gas back in the tuck before returning. We parked & gave the keys to the agent. I asked if there was anything further that needed to be done and was told no. The next morning I received a call asking when we would be returning the vehicle, I explained the above. A few minutes later I received a invoice and we were charged for gas?? I called and explained, the rep also indicated that with the miles used which was little it did not even match the gas we were charged. I was told to send over a copy showing gas purchased. The facility where I dropped my truck and trailer off was great. But I will more than likely receive a cleaning fee due to the negligence of the facility where I picked the truck up from. I found it unacceptable that y'all disconnect the Tow/Haul function and I personally KNOW that it makes the vehicle's use more gas! I have used UHAUL many times before, and NEVER had any issues with ANYTHINGâ€¦ but the way this truck drove (gear or transmission issues) could change my next rental. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The storage unit was horrible. My entire home was in a large unit and 75% of everything I owned was rat-infested. I have had to throw away anything that was fabric. It literally had dead baby mice bodies in my children's box strings and clothing. I choose this unit thinking cause it was on Wilma in a busy part of town it would at least be pest and mice-free. IT WAS NOT!! I have left 2 messages for Management to call me back and have not yet heard from anyone. Were the rats traveled on the ceiling beams the insulation was coated in all my belongings 2in thick. I am out a very large amount of funds replacing all my mattresses lien, and clothing. I would recommend using only plastic totes to store anything here. The rats ate through all the boxes I had. Mouse poop, fallen insulation that appears moldy, and more spiders than anyone is comfortable with inside my unit. I visited my unit several times a year for nearly two years and there was always more mouse poop, fallen insulation, and spiders than my last visit. These units are filthy and disgusting and cost $15-$25 more than any non-Uhual nearby storage facility. A ludicrous five dollar price increase to “maintain superior cleanliness standards.” Military discount advertised on the website but I was told uhual doesn’t do military discount.
