Your usurious late fees are despicable and your National call center seems hamstrung to do anything about them oh, so you haul as a corporation is shameful, however this location and its Personnel including general manager Kevin Chambers was excellent and a pleasure to deal with

The door lock was broken and took significant effort to open every time. Also, my belongings were filled with sunflower seeds and other nuts by rodents during the winter. Everything else was good.

This is my second time using the facility in a year. My furniture had rat feces on it and the boxes had feces and ruin on them. My kids mattresses had insulation on them. Field mouse was dead on rug.

Superb customer service! This place is well-run and easy to maneuver in/out of. They have plenty of folks working there so all flows smoothly despite periods of high traffic. I will return. Best one in Clarksville for sure. Providence one also v.good.

Make sure the trucks are ready and clean!! Trucks need to be updated as most people have phones they use for navigation - no USB ports to charge phone.

I hate how you say you can rent a truck for $30 a day. That's not even close to true. Truck rentals are usually about 70 to $80 a day. This is a course after you add and the cost per mile, fees, gas, insurance and miscellaneous costs like dolly rentals and blanket rentals.

I reserved my vehicle online to save time. Check in still took over 20 minutes. I had already downloaded copies of my driver’s license and entered all my personal information, including credit card payment. They re-entered all the information I had already provided and explained their internet was slow. Furthermore, I rented a cargo van because I was transporting food and supplies to a catered event about an hour away. It was VERY important that several items remain at room temperature because the outdoor temperature was 95 degrees. I was very frustrated when I arrived at U-haul and was informed they could NOT rent me the cargo van I had reserved (a week in advance) because it had been recalled. They offered me a choice of a pick-up truck or 10 foot truck for the same price. Well, that wasn’t helpful because I really needed a vehicle where I could haul items at room temperature. Ie: fresh flowers, candles, food etc I was stuck, my event was starting in two hours and I didn’t have time to find a cargo van from another company. I definitely think they should have contacted me prior to checking in so I could make other arrangements. I needed a van - not a truck! I also believe I should have received some form of compensation because they did not honor their online contract. I can’t even describe the anxiety I experienced as a result of not getting the vehicle I reserved. In the very least, I think they should have given me a lower rate. My return was very quick and easy. All the employees I encountered were professional.

The young guys running the customer service counter are NOT helpful, polite, or knowledgeable! All they know is what comes up on a computer screen. They couldn’t explain to me all the charges on my bill. They couldn’t explain why I was told I would get a $75 insurance deductible refunded upon turn in, but I only got $60 in a $20 and a $40 payment, but they couldn’t explain what those refunds were for. I CAN READ THE RECEIPT FOR MYSELF! But please explain what these refunds were for and why it wasn’t the $75 I was promised at pick up? Also, I had rented a smaller trailer, two weeks earlier to haul my motorcycle to NY state. I needed a larger, covered trailer to bring my bike, and other household goods back. The rental on the trailer, coming BACK from NY, came to nearly $700 with fees, taxes, insurance, and the OUTRAGEOUS nearly $600 rental fee! If these guys at the U-haul store in TN had been KNOWLEDGEABLE, HELPFUL, and POLITE, they could have advised me to rent the larger trailer for round trip, sat on it during my two week stay in NY, and return it back to them, SAVING ME OVER $300! And, by the way, I made my reservation for the smaller trailer, at this TN location, a week in advance of my trip. On the day I went in to pick it up, they had no reservation and no trailer available! Apparently, the customer service guy, who made my reservation didn’t COMPLETE the reservation! I had to scramble at the last minute to find a trailer available at another location! I would use this Clarksville, TN location again, because they are a corporate store. But! I learned a lot on this trip! I won’t TRUST anything they say, or do for me! I’ll verify, verify, verify, and RECHECK EVERYTHING, from pricing to reservations! I’m NOT a happy U-haul customer!

It smelled horrible when I walked in the facility. There was no service with a smile. The guy had to redo the whole storage transaction and set up. The process took almost 1.5hr.

Had a climate control unit that was often hotter than the outside units. The system was broken for a while. The manager is very unprofessional. He was hard to reach whenever and never returned calls.
