The only thing disappointing about the experience is the equipment wasn't in the location requested and I had to pay the extra mileage.MARDEE S.
When I showed up I gave my identifying information and the person helping me didn't say one word, he immediately got on the phone and was talking to someone about my reservation. After he finished the call, told me the truck I rented was at a different location. I explained that I was told this is a guaranteed reservation and that I would receive a $50 refund if this didn't happen. He did not believe me when I said this. So he again got on the phone and expressed the other person on the line that they should never have guaranteed a reservation. So I had to drive to the other end of town, pick up the truck and drive back to that location to pick up the trailer. Then I got on the road and when I stopped for gas I looked over the trailer tires and one tire had the cords showing. So then I had to get new tires put on. Very frustrating at best.bailey F.

While your service was excellent, this was my first time renting from you (but not my last) I did not know how to find the van. I thought the number on the key card was the license plate number. I did not know that each van has a code written on the back. It was dark and cold when I picked up the van and had to walk around the lot until I figured it out.Valorie S.
U-Haul gave me extra hours to return a haul trailer and for their lenience I can only say that I was very grateful. Where does one find that kind of attitude from a business anymore these days? I was scheduled at 8 at Rent A Wreck . When I got there my reservation had been moved to the UHaul in the heights. I was going to WALK to the first place and I am glad I drove. I did not receive an email of the change. If I had walked to the first place and had to walk back home and then drive to the heights this survey wouldn't be this nice! The equipment and place is so much nicer I will probably drive up there to get my rental for now on. But an email of the change of notification would of been niceKerri H.

I selected no dolly and blankets they were in the way with a green tag if you broke the tag you be charged. They got in the way. The vehicle did not drive well a lot of slop in the steering. The transmission did not shift properly excessive high RPM and when it did shift it whipped your neck. Then the check engine light came on. Also I was rushed to get the vehicle back so you would not charge me for a 2 ND day even though I only had it for 10.5 hrs.SCOTT S.

This one star review is for Uhaul as a whole company, not this specific location. My reservation was dropped 24 hrs in advance. For someone moving, 24 hrs notice is all I get??? This is completely unacceptable. I will NEVER utilize Uhaul again. On a local level, the store was very helpful and kind, but they have no control over how the company as a whole is operating.Margaret H.

The equipment was in great condition. The lack of cruise control made the long distance trip harder and engine governed below some posted speed limits made keeping up with traffic harder and was frankly a bit unsafe. Would use U-Haul again but would look at other companies offering those features.Susan A.
