I had a terrible experience at this location due to customer service. The employees did not walk me over to inspect the truck I rented and go over the issues/damages that were already there. And the truck's gas fuel was not full. Besides that I was charged three times: a holding fee of $41.62, the actual charge of $34.42 and then another charge of $34.42 which I'm still not sure why, but that's $145.28 in total for 1 fucking hour within 10 miles at most! The holding fee was suppose to drop off within 3-5 business days, which 3 weeks later still hasn't. I finally got the extra $34.42 dropped off but supposedly I'm not getting the holding fee of $41.62 back because half of it was extra â€˜taxes' and mileage and the other is for gas that I have to replace for myself and whoever else used it before me, even though I put gas in there before I dropped the truck back off! Fucking ridiculous. I've requested managers to contact me via phone and still no response. But when I call customer service, I'm told my requests of my holding pay were denied. So in total I've been charged $76.04 when I was told at the store it would be $34.42! Trifling! At this point, I don't want the damn phone call I want my fucking holding fee back!!Char M.

When we dropped it off they told us we drove 25 miles. We didn't, then they found keys & smokes between the seats in the truck that weren't ours. I'm assuming the truck wasn't even checked back in when we picked it up. So we paid extra in mileage for someone else's trip. Our bill was only supposed to be around 35, we ended up paying over 50. You need to check the gas more carefully. I was told that the "tank was full" but I drove 25 miles in the pickup and it took 4 gallons of gas. It might have taken more, but I stopped there. I'm sure I did not use more than a gallon to go 25 miles!Edith M.

The texted link to verify the condition stated link expired while still there. I assumed that meant they already completed it in the store? Then my email/phone number I rented the uhaul using wouldn't work to check the uhaul in after hours it told me that I had nothing rented. When I got the agreement number I was finally able to do it through that, but then even sitting in the parking lot it wouldn't confirm I was there using my gps so I couldn't check it in online myself. I left the truck there and put the keys in the drop box with the intent to return in the morning with my car and get help doing the check in and ended up getting a convenience charge.william R.
Originally I went to the Van Dorn U-haul but they didn't have the motorcycle trailer. However, they quickly referred me to the Vine Ave UHaul where I was hooked up and gone in a very short time! The box was pretty filthy. I had to sweep out a medium sized pile of dirt ( 6â€ across, half an inch deep.) There were metal washers and other hardware laying loose on the floor. Mom's kitchen had a good deal of dirt in it. The cab had dirt in it and the dash and instruments were dusty. My recommendation would be to insure that all of your trucks are thoroughly cleaned before releasing them,Charles M.

The cab was filthy and the driver window's knob was broken. Made it hard to roll down window. There was a heavy musky smell in cab, so had to go with windows as if you tried AC, the smell was worse. Then the transmission light came on half-way, making for a nervous trip.ALISHA S.

The first facility that I picked the truck up in Chicago Illinois I just dropped the truck off and the keys and the gentleman just ran out for a few seconds okay when I got the truck dolly that I request and we had the few of the truckaudrey o. | First Impressions
Get the proper mileage between users. I was charged for 126 miles. I only had the truck for two hours and moved in-between houses in Lincoln. Probably only put 20 miles on it. I don't even think its possible to drive 126 miles in two hours while in a U-Haul. It's partly on me for not double checking the mileage and just trusting you all.. But also kind of felt like a scam from U-Haul. Common sense would dictate clearly it was wrote down wrong and no way someone doing one trip from 16th ST to 70th ST in Lincoln could drive 126 miles in two hours. But I guess you got me. Enjoy the extra 130 dollars you scammed out of me. Won't be recommending U-Haul. Penske will be the way I got next time.Richard D.

Lincoln, Nebraska has a mask mandate for everyone inside a business that went into effect today, August 26th. I wore my mask into the Uhaul location and was surprised and disappointed to see the 2 women behind the counter were not wearing masks. I pointed out the mask mandate had gone into effect one of them she hadn't heard about it and neither one seemed to care. When I brought my truck back hours later they still weren't wearing masks. Only providing good ratings as I don’t want to impact anyone’s performance rating. The U-Haul truck wasn’t available, yet many were sitting in the same spot before I left and returned. The unit wasn’t cleaned out, needed to swipe and clean out before putting my product into the storage unit. No one in the location was wearing a mask, yet the city still hasn’t adjusted the mask mandate. How does a customer feel when we don’t know the status of everyone working at the location?
