Never had a bad experience. Always courteous and helpful. Only issue is first 6x12 trailer we went to hook up had brand new tires with a big nail in the tread, Fortunately we found it on our walk around as I had 1500 km drive. Thanks for the great service.

It started off when I did a circle check of my truck. I noticed the driver side mirror, smashed. I proceeded to talk to the guy inside and he told me it doesn't matter it's insured. I had to insistent force him to come out and look at it. So as far as I'm concerned that truck was not up to safety standards for driving. Secondly, I had reserved a dolly, I was told that Dolly's are first come first serve. What is the point of a damn reservation if you guys are not gonna honour it. I was told that that location had “negative dollys” absolutely brutal. I had to go to Home Depot and rent one at a more expensive cost. I found all the staff, extremely unpleasant and rude. It is also a good thing that I took a picture of the fuel reading before I left. As the starting levels were higher on the receipt paperwork. Are you guys in the habit of bamboozling your customer and making him think that they've used at more gas than they really did? You guys are moving company, you supply the tools to move. How can you not have any functioning dollys, I even asked for the flat furniture roller on four wheels. I was told they have nothing to offer me. However, they would sell me all the tools that I would need. Between not honouring my reservations, having unsafe damaged vehicles, and artificially inflated the starting fuel gauge, to only try and charge me more at the end; I find to be dishonest, and I I am to assume you guys do this to everybody. Only I had pictures before hand and you couldn't get one passed me. I will be notifying the Better Business Bureau on your price gouging for the gasoline discrepancies. And I will also be notifying the MTO suggesting that they run an audit on your fleet for the damaged mirrors, and the lack of care, or urgency on providing me a vehicle that is roadworthy. I wish you the best of luck in screwing over your next customer, and maybe you'll get some old man who has no other options, and will fall for your tactics. You run a very dishonest business.

Pick up time was 8:30 AM. Had snowed the night before and when I asked if it was cleared of the snow the answer was yes. It was NOT. Had to wait until someone came out of the office to do so.

Key was not ready and counter staff was unpleasant on pick up and return. Equipment condition could not be verified upon rental as snow clearing had not been done at the branch dispite conditions being clear for 14 hours plus. I would choose to pay the extra mileage rather then rent from this branch again. The Hamilton Wellington branch sets a high standard and this was close geographically but a huge disappointment on service in comparison

please ensure when you give customers the equipment they rent that it is clean. when they are picking up their equipment make sure that they are aware of what they are picking up and that they know the proper way to use the equipment. finally, please make sure your customers are informed on the return process and that there is an efficient amount of space on your lot to properly park their equipment, especially returning after hours.

When returning the trailer the drop of location behind the building is not good. It wouldn't have mattered what driveway I went in there was a big car trailer right smack in the middle. Good thing I came in driveway the side of Plains Rd because if I came in off of Plains Rd I would have had to sleep in my truck because there was no way I could have backed it up.. I think there should be designated drop of spots!

Loved the newness of the Ford van. I would suggest smaller key tags that are attached to the key. With the key in the ignition and the steering wheel adjusted to the highest height , the key tag touched my right knee. At one point while driving, I repositioned myself in the drivers seat. My knee pushed the key tag against the key forcing the key to turn slightly to the off/aux position. I had to stop, turn the key completely off and restart the van. Other than that, a great experience. Well done!

The only thing that I'm very saddened by is that I used to rant very often from you guys because I deliver things to needy families because that's what I do I help families in need. The last time I helped together furniture for a family that finally got Ontario housing I did not get a discount because they claim head office will not allow them to give the discount. That's very sad since I've been renting from you guys since the eighties.. It's unfortunate that such a large company will not Grant discounts knowing that the person is out of pocket to help families in need.

Hello, I had a terrible experience. First of all, when I picked up my Uhaul, the lasy did not put my moving blankets. I got all the way home and noticed that I did not have any. I had to go back. Secondly, when I was driving to my new place, I noticed that people were honking me and flashing there lights. I stopped and made sure everything was okay. I didnt see anything so I kept driving. After I had driven 1 hour on many highways, I noticed when I was parking the Uhaul that there was NO LIGHTS. I then did a few test and noticed that the break lights, the turning light and the hazard light were NOT WORKING. This is such an unsafe mistake! I had to get my friend to follow me home because I was scared to drive without turning lights. My review is 0-10. I would never take UHAUL again.

To be honest, Something I don't like about my Uhaul experience is the business model. the costs are not transparent and i believe are designed to be as such. Renting a tuck is always advertised at one price and then the final cost is always a multiple higher than that. Rent a truck for $29 bucks... expect to pay closer to 80 - 100. Additionally, The fuel tank is left at half.. why? It would serve your costumers better to have the tank at full. That way when they are done they could just fill up the tank and not have to guess how much they should put back in... either giving uhaul free gas or underfilling it and being charged a premium for the remainder. It doesn't feel good to do business with Uhaul. It doesn't feel transparent. It feels like Im getting nickled and dimed. and it doesn't feel as if you are putting your customers needs first. You're only saving grace is that people tend to move so in frequently that they'd rather just pay and move on without adding stress to their move. You make moving more stressful, not less.

The windshield washer did not work on the driver's side. It was an extremely unsafe situation since I had to drive on highway 401. I would suggest checking wipers and washer fluid function in the winter months.

-Truck parked in dark location for night pick up. Very difficult to see controls when first entering truck. Raining hard at the time with no assistance from staff. My helper tripped in a pot hole in the U-Haul lot and ended up with soaked shoes. This is dangerous with heavy rain and being dark (not able to see parking lot defects). -Returned truck and waited 5-10 minutes for a staff member to show up. No other customers there at the time.

The service was great and efficient. I rent here often, rather than store my own trailer for small jobs. It would be great if I could have an online account, roll up to a trailer, scan a QR code, hook up and drive away rather than enter my vehicle data and pull out my licence every time.

It was raining out the day I picked up my van. The two associates where not motivated at 8 am in the morning. I was a little shocked they just threw me the key and didn't even come out to escort me to the truck. Too busy on their cell phones must have been soccer....

A great experience with one small suggestion-When I returned the van the sales associate stated that he would check in the van later-after I was gone. Having been a world traveler for years and renting cars on my excursions this was a little bit of a red flag for me. Not to say that he would have done anything nefarious with the check in after I left, but considering I had to show him pictures of the line of the gas fill as to where it was when I picked it up, I would have been charged and no conversation would have ensued if we didn't do the check in at the time of the return. It was just weird in my opinion, when there were no other customers in line behind me. All in all it was a great experience for a van that worked well for my use. Cheers and thanks.

It would be much better to rent trucks that have a full tank of gas so the customer could refill to full. Every time I rent it seems the gas is at a quarter tank or less which sometimes means you have to get gas twice so you can return at same level. Another suggestion is to tell clients approximately how much gas to put in based on mileage.

I would love to be able to load my profile with vehicle, licence, credit card and pull in, scan, hook up, and go. Not a reflection on this location at all, but would be that much more convenient as this location is my go to when I need a trailer for a short project around the house. Excellent location to rent from, none the less.

My experience was great until I emptied my unit I called to get information and was told that I did not wait till the end of my pay period and my account would be adjusted and pro rated for the time I used. However when I tried to settle my account I was told that customers have been told that but it was not what was on his computer and he would look into it and get back to me As of today I have heard nothing and I have not received a credit Can you please rectify? Staff tried to lie and say or storage booking didn't exist and that all the storage units were occupied. After minutes of explaining we indeed did book, randomly there was a unit available for us... Storage also closes at 10pm so we couldn't bring stuff after rush hour.

I have been repeatedly overcharged for my storage unit from the beginning of my account use until after I moved out. The first month promotion from Uhaul was never honoured. I have made numerous attempts to contact the Aldershot location, by phone and email and my calls were never returned over the whole 5 month period. I even waited on hold for an hour to contact Uhaul central Customer Service, they tried to get in touch with the Aldershot location, and couldn’t get a reply by phone, then they sent an email to the location, and still the Aldershot location didn’t reply to the message from Head Office Customer Service. The Aldershot location continues to charge me even after I moved out, despite my numerous emails advising them that I’d be moving out, and to stop charging me. They placed a lock on my unit, and never removed it even after I paid excessive extra charges. The lock remained in my unit long after my account was fully paid, which prevented me from moving out earlier resulting in several additional months of unnecessary storage costs. When I had paid for and arranged a moving service to move out of my storage unit, I couldn’t access my storage unit for the moving company because the Aldershot still had a lock on my storage unit. This is the worst predatory business practices I have ever seen, especially during the pandemic, and with such a large International Company like Uhaul, this is completely unacceptable. Customers of Uhaul at the Aldershot location have been leaving very Negative Reviews of the terrible customer service and overcharges at Uhaul at Aldershot. I would like Uhaul Head Office to assist me with providing a refund for all of the amounts that have been Overcharged on my account by Uhaul Aldershot. Please have Uhaul Head Office contact me to resolve the unethical business practices of the Uhaul Aldershot location and their numerous overcharges on my account.
