Aside from the engine light being on the truck we rented was decent. Overall the staff and facilities we used in Burlington Ontario were good. Unfortunately the cost to rent a small 10’ cube van was much more than I had anticipated. We did a quick 6 hour round trip were we drove a bit less than 400km to pick-up some furniture. The stuck consumed $100 worth of gas. Aside from the gas the fee was $340. I had not imagined it would have cost me $440 to rent a vehicle for 6hrs. Next time we will definitely look at other options.

On the phone, a couple of employees did not know what products they sell and did not know what the policies or procedures are. Those that did serve me were helpful. What was really disappointing was the fact that I reserved a vehicle and was told it is not available. Had to drive further away to get what I had reserved. This led to mass confusion without any resolution by corporate 1-800 people. I can't recommend Uhaul until Uhaul sorts itself out.

Completely horrible experience right from the beginning. Staff uneducated on rates, overcharged even after dispute, 1 person ahead of me and only one person on, took over a half hour to check in, van was not cleaned and papers from previous renter left in truck including personal information, gas was lower than stated (went 2 kms without letting it run and dropped 1/8 of a tank). I will never use uhaul again. This location is always a joke. If you’re offering a product and service make sure you have employees that know what they are selling.

The pre pick up inspection was not completed. The vehicle needed oil and despite this I was told it was okay to drive it even though the add oil light was on. I refused the vehicle and was given another.

The attendant that received my vehicle seemed mad or annoyed and not willing to engage in any customer service. Good service coming in poor attitude coming out. Greeting a customer is as important as the send off once the service has reached to an end. Thanks

Younger kid working did absolutely nothing besides take my money and tell me what unit I had to rent. Good thing I know how to use your trailers if it was someone else I feel bad for them to figure it out.

Dear Uhaul cooperate  I want to make an official complete about your Uhaul branch, 419 Plains Rd E, Burlington, ON. L7T2C9 On Saturday I arrived at my appointment at 8.30 am on time only to take that the technician who fits the Hitch will not be able until 11 am. Usually, this would not be an issue. However, it started on the website if I arrived at this time I could have my hitch installed as I waited. Plus I live an hour drive (each way) in Waterloo, ON.  I, therefore, had to wait 2.5 hours in the local area for the technician to start work. Which meant I need to cancel an appointment back in waterloo. I'm very unsatisfied with the service I experienced with the shop teller, plus the miss-communication between the online systems and the branch. However, the technician did good, in the end. This was my first purchase with the haul, and it came because of the great help I received in the Uhaul waterloo branch. It a real shame as I don't think I'll be recommending the branch of U-haul again because of my experience.  RegardsArron

Fill up the tank of the vans/trucks. I put 5-10$ too much, if the tank had been full then it would be easy for customer to fill-up not lose 5-10$,

I reserved a dolly and it was not in the truck on pick up. I was reimbursed the cost of the dolly rental. The online process worked well for me. I would recommend this location to anyone inierested.

the unit was leaking and destroyed some of my stored files the unit became infested with mice and the place became littered with mice droppings the mice ate my clothes stored in a plastic bin
