1. The truck was new and in great condition; 2. I used uhaul.com to check in in advance, but it didn't seem to save any time (especially for me uploading drivers license, entering credit card). When I picked up the keys, they still asked for driver's license, credit card etc...what was the point of me checking in online?; 3. Getting the truck and having to leave it with a 1/4 tank is a major inconvenience. When I filled, I put in $15, $7 and $5 to get it to the right mark. Very poor customer experience. Why not just have it full at pick-up and leave it full at drop-off. Next time I need a truck I will be trying other options.

Due to our age it would have been nice if the desk attendant had come out to help load or unload the equipment. The desk attendant was very courteous we would certainly recommend this location.

Check in computer very slow and took longer to pick up then usually. The car trailer was in the best shape of any I have rented before

I was required to fill up to 1/2 a tank. At $1.04 per litre it took $28 after driving 20 km round trip. I rented a similar truck a few summers ago and travelled further and paid less for gas at a higher price. I’m doubting the accuracy of the gas gauge or the maintenance on this vehicle

Reservation was to drop off at Burlington Walkers and Mainway. We’re told after pick up in hamilton by text to drop off at Plains Road. Very inconvenient

Four-way flashers didn’t not work on the truck. It was dark by the time we were unloading and it was not very safe to have the truck parked on the road without the flashers.

This is my third time renting from U Haul and each time was pleasant. The only thing I recommend is throw a bit of grease on the sliding doors. I’ll definitely rent from this location again

Truck only had 34 miles till empty at pickup, no vehicle walk around at pickup, rear ramp was stuck and couldn’t be used, vehicle was returned with exactly quarter tank but I was charged $57 extra for fuel and fill up fee after I left. Had to return to location for a bill correction. Very unprofessional

The first two trucks I was offered were filthy inside and not acceptable to move personal belongings. The third was OK but difficult to get int due to the ice the night before. Large scratch damage on drivers side bumper and headlight, been there a while but no damage sticker on it. It was only noticed by the time I got to my residence and the ice melted off. I took a picture prior to setting off. The young store person who served me was really polite and personable.

Had a reservation at the location and the attendant left early and forgot to stage the keys to the truck we had rented.... when we picked it up, there was no keys or anyone to help us. Had to return the next day to pick up the keys. Since the app dispatched the truck before checking if the keys were there, we could not even return the truck to cancel.

1. I got the van with the tank at 1/4 full; I had to fill it up to get my job done. When I returned the van, it was at 1/2 full. No credit was considered. I prefer to received the vehicle full and return it full. 2. Tires (rear ones) were at low pressure and the warring sign for low pressure was on all the time. 3. The windshield wiper on the drive side was not good. When I used it during my drive, the windshield was almost blurry and very dangerous.

Language barrier with new owners/employees. Told them i wanted a 2 day rental while there in person and they tell me “we will put 1 day and if u choose to extend it, its just 40 a day” i said , “but im 100% sure i want it for 2 days so just put 2 days” They still didnt and when i left, i felt like they were unknowledgeable about their own processes and procedures. i phoned in 3 weeks before my rental pick up date to confirm and be super safe, since they had me totally unconfident of their competence . And she tells me she cant find the reservation 3 day Then she says she found it (pulling up the acct is the easiest part) and ends up taking 10 min of my time to simply find an acct And then tells me that its only for 1 day!!!!! So i get her to make it 2. And she can barely understand what i mean. Long pauses between words ect. Moving day comes, i show up, and she says again that they need it back the next day. I said r u kidding me?!?! I initially asked for 2 days, then weeks later phoned to make sure you clowns didn't screw it up, and you did, so you correct it, and then moving day i show up and AGAIN you screw it up!!! Incompetence is an under statement. I had to guide the whole rental process from start to finish and the whole time i felt like I was going to lose the truck to lack of competence and them renting it to someone else by mistake. Last time i had a bad experience with uhaul too, because they charged me for extra fuel when i filled it. They corrected it, but still, i was uneasy this time around, and this new ownership at this specific location was a bad move for uhaul in my opinion.

Staff left us to manage and hook up the trailer on our own, had to move another trailer out of the way ourselves to access the booked trailer, returned the trailer ahead of schedule and the staff did not close the rental contract leading to an email a day later claiming the trailer was not returned - had to return to the rental location again to get staff to close off the rental. I am waiting to review my credit card charges because I assume that the knuckleheads who didn't process the return properly will probably lead to additional unwarranted charges and further headache.

I have rented through uhaul many times.before without any issues however this time I was not happy with and did not appreciate the following 1. The booking process was not as I wished and was not corrected. 2. The urgency (saying it was stolen) to return the vehicle after stating it was needed for a longer period due to a extended office move 3. The rudeness of some staff members To be honest I have tried another company to rent from for the next 2 scheduled bookings.

Customer service was horrible. I tried to explain where I wanted to drop it off she never listened. No help hooking up the trailer. Trailer still had wood trash in it.

I booked online, which was fine, pick up was fine. I returned it, the guy said to leave the key and they will email my receipt. 5 hours later I get a call from uhaul, asking why my return was late, I said I returned on time and was told to leave my keys and my receipt was gonna be emailed, and I left. She said she would call them and see. I did not here back from her, and recieved an email a while later as my receipt. This is a very poor return system! They need to handle this better!

This location was very under-staffed, only one person there while 3 customers waited to pick up their van and when I returned there were 5 of us for her to handle. The side view mirrors and side windows were very dirty and normally not a problem but today was very sunny and driving eastbound made using the mirrors impossible - I had to pull into a gas station to clean the windows and mirrors. I used the “Express On-Line Check-in” to “save time at the counter” but still had to confirm drivers licence, phone number and was almost charged the insurance twice until I pointed out that I have included it in my initial reservation.

The trailer I rented didn’t have a plate on it. I got stopped but didn’t get a ticket. Lucky I told the guy at the desk and he said they would have paid the ticket but not the point. I had two guys come out to check it. I didn’t realize the plate wasn’t there myself. The counter guy shrugged his shoulders and blew it off cause I didn’t get a ticket. I’m in customer service myself so I would have thought they would have offered me something for my inconvenience. But I was wrong. I will rent again because the trailer is a good value and easy to use just not happy with the service
