Staff left us to manage and hook up the trailer on our own, had to move another trailer out of the way ourselves to access the booked trailer, returned the trailer ahead of schedule and the staff did not close the rental contract leading to an email a day later claiming the trailer was not returned - had to return to the rental location again to get staff to close off the rental. I am waiting to review my credit card charges because I assume that the knuckleheads who didn't process the return properly will probably lead to additional unwarranted charges and further headache.

I have rented through uhaul many times.before without any issues however this time I was not happy with and did not appreciate the following 1. The booking process was not as I wished and was not corrected. 2. The urgency (saying it was stolen) to return the vehicle after stating it was needed for a longer period due to a extended office move 3. The rudeness of some staff members To be honest I have tried another company to rent from for the next 2 scheduled bookings.

Customer service was horrible. I tried to explain where I wanted to drop it off she never listened. No help hooking up the trailer. Trailer still had wood trash in it.

I booked online, which was fine, pick up was fine. I returned it, the guy said to leave the key and they will email my receipt. 5 hours later I get a call from uhaul, asking why my return was late, I said I returned on time and was told to leave my keys and my receipt was gonna be emailed, and I left. She said she would call them and see. I did not here back from her, and recieved an email a while later as my receipt. This is a very poor return system! They need to handle this better!

This location was very under-staffed, only one person there while 3 customers waited to pick up their van and when I returned there were 5 of us for her to handle. The side view mirrors and side windows were very dirty and normally not a problem but today was very sunny and driving eastbound made using the mirrors impossible - I had to pull into a gas station to clean the windows and mirrors. I used the “Express On-Line Check-in” to “save time at the counter” but still had to confirm drivers licence, phone number and was almost charged the insurance twice until I pointed out that I have included it in my initial reservation.

The trailer I rented didn’t have a plate on it. I got stopped but didn’t get a ticket. Lucky I told the guy at the desk and he said they would have paid the ticket but not the point. I had two guys come out to check it. I didn’t realize the plate wasn’t there myself. The counter guy shrugged his shoulders and blew it off cause I didn’t get a ticket. I’m in customer service myself so I would have thought they would have offered me something for my inconvenience. But I was wrong. I will rent again because the trailer is a good value and easy to use just not happy with the service

Rented 6x12 trailer with ramp to move some golf carts. Perfect for that purpose. Bed did have some concrete debris left from prior renter but did not affect use. Was surprised that only one person was working at the location when I picked up the trailer on a Friday a 10am. Nice woman checked me in but had to leave next customer at the counter while she helped me attach trailer to the hitch and get me going. Return was very efficient with gentleman in the yard. All was good and I didn't need to go inside. Loved that part! One complaint I have is the on-line check in (to save time) doesn't seem to retain scanned Driver's License and info from previous rentals (time consuming to do). Not sure why unless data is only kept location specific? Something to fix to make me an even happier regular U-Haul customer.

In my case, I ordered a covered trailer in advance. I was moving furniture to a location 400 km away. Unfortunately the day before I needed it I got a call that it would not be available (possibly someone did not return it?) I rented an open trailer to move some big furniture and boxes into storage, but it was raining so I didn't load up for long haul. U-Haul was very apologetic, and the bill I received reflected that. I will rent another enclosed trailer, but will do it mid-month. LOTS of people move at the end of the month.
