fix the vehicle so it is road worthy. the miirrors were broken so it poses a danger to the driver and others on the road. this truck should not be on the road.David O.
I didn't mind the wait on May 1 and the staff were very pleasant considering the system response delays they were having on such a busy day slow but I suggest UHaul increases the system speed for the stores so they can better serve the customer and avoid staff frustration. Again, the staff were excellent and only acknowledged the slowness but did not complain. ThanksPaul R.

I only needed the truck for an hour to pick up a large purchase from Cdn Tire. The truck was filthy inside. Mud and covered in dust and some kind of animal hair. My clothes were filthy from sitting on the seats. I've rented from that location before and didn't have a problem but this time was definitely poorKelly H.

The panel van was in great condition and the perfect size to move a Queen size bed set and frame, linens, pillows, and several bins of clothes and other miscellaneous items. I reserved an appliance dolly with my truck. I went to pickup my truck and dolly 7am (opening time). Rep said the dollies were "first come first serve" My move was much more difficult with that dolly. What's the point of reserving something that may not be available? Everything from pick-up to drop-off went pretty much as planned. The only thing was a bit of confusion on the return as I was expecting to upload pictures and the site didn't ask for any, just kept dropping me back on the return screen. Otherwise, no issues. Reliable as always. RichardRichard E.

Had a horrible experience with the manager Michael Holder. He spoke rudely to an elderly couple who were concerned about being delayed. When I tried to intervene , he threatened me that he would undo the work done on my car (installing a hitch power) and asked me to go to Canadian tire or anywhere else. He raised his voice to the elderly couple and asked them to get out of the uhaul establishment. We were horrified with this man and I felt threatened by his behaviour and attitude. The rest of the staff were absolutely amazing until Michael intervened although he wasn't not being spoken to. I hope I never ever have to deal with him or anyone like him. Was terrified at his behaviour and have a small video clip to prove his rude attitude.Dwayne D.
The gas tank of the first vehicle assigned and declined to take was less than one third full, I took the second offered van with the same low volume of fuel realizing if they had a vehicle with a full tank they would have offered it. Gauging the fuel level was approximate based on a photo of the dashboard, I ended up filling more than I should. ( The back of the van had some debris left from a previous rental.Gregor B.

This is the â€œbestâ€ uhaul location yet is still dog shit. Customer service was awful and the truck was not well maintained. The cab was gross and nearing the end of my trip (which was max ~100km) the battery died and roadside assistance didn't call me back for 45 minutes. What kind of business are you guys running? Get your shit together and start caring about your customers for once.ANDREW H.

Commit on your guarantee. When reserving the truck I wanted, the site stated if my truck I reserved was not there, as it wasn't, and I had no alternative but to take a smaller truck, I would receive $50 off and all they did was give me a few cents of on the mileage cost. Terrible to promise something and then when it happens don't follow through on the promise. Terrible Customer Service.Terence R.

Credit machine not operating properly. Never have I had to retrieve a rental on my own, especially on a snowy day with a very full parking lot of rentals. Well, unfortunately I did not realize that reserving an appliance dolly (so I could easily move appliances up and down the stairs I knew I needed to navigate) didn't actually mean that I would get to rent the appliance dolly that I'd booked ahead of time, so THAT was unfortunate. Thankfully no one was injured with the extra lifting I'd tried to avoid having to do. Maybe the website could be adjusted so that customers can know what is actually available to them, so people can plan accordingly? This was a bit of a frustrating glitch in my day but whatever we made it work. The truck also wasn't suuuuper clean. Maybe they don't get cleaned out between customers? Crumbs from someone's snack inside, and the bed of the pickup had salt and brush and garbage in it- obviously previous renter was doing some landscaping. I was not as impressed with this experience as I was hoping to be, but maybe my expectations were too high?Justine L.

My experience was great until I emptied my unit I called to get information and was told that I did not wait till the end of my pay period and my account would be adjusted and pro rated for the time I used. However when I tried to settle my account I was told that customers have been told that but it was not what was on his computer and he would look into it and get back to me As of today I have heard nothing and I have not received a credit Can you please rectify? Staff tried to lie and say or storage booking didn't exist and that all the storage units were occupied. After minutes of explaining we indeed did book, randomly there was a unit available for us... I have been repeatedly overcharged for my storage unit from the beginning of my account use until after I moved out. The first month promotion from Uhaul was never honoured. I have made numerous attempts to contact the Aldershot location, by phone and email and my calls were never returned over the whole 5 month period. I even waited on hold for an hour to contact Uhaul central Customer Service, they tried to get in touch with the Aldershot location, and couldn’t get a reply by phone, then they sent an email to the location, and still the Aldershot location didn’t reply to the message from Head Office Customer Service. The Aldershot location continues to charge me even after I moved out, despite my numerous emails advising them that I’d be moving out, and to stop charging me. They placed a lock on my unit, and never removed it even after I paid excessive extra charges. The lock remained in my unit long after my account was fully paid, which prevented me from moving out earlier resulting in several additional months of unnecessary storage costs. When I had paid for and arranged a moving service to move out of my storage unit, I couldn’t access my storage unit for the moving company because the Aldershot still had a lock on my storage unit. This is the worst predatory business practices I have ever seen, especially during the pandemic, and with such a large International Company like Uhaul, this is completely unacceptable. Customers of Uhaul at the Aldershot location have been leaving very Negative Reviews of the terrible customer service and overcharges at Uhaul at Aldershot. I would like Uhaul Head Office to assist me with providing a refund for all of the amounts that have been Overcharged on my account by Uhaul Aldershot. Please have Uhaul Head Office contact me to resolve the unethical business practices of the Uhaul Aldershot location and their numerous overcharges on my account.
