When I ordered the truck online I had a different pick-up location. I was NEVER notified that it was going to be a different place. A huge waste of my time. I also had an 11 am pick-up time and when I was redirected to the other location the employee said I was supposed to be there at 9 am. She was wrong it was 11. Afaf and Richie were like angels on our path. I was helping my daughter move and was worried about how the move would go but they took away our worries. Our equipment was ready upon pick up, Rich showed me how simple driving a van is, and Afaf made sure we had all th supplies we needed. I would recommend this location wholeheartedly. I originally booked it at a different location, specifically because that location was easy for me to get to and opened early which was necessary for my plans. When I arrived at 7 am at the other location, I was informed (nonchalantly and not even remotely apoligetically) that the reservation was at a different location. I never received any contact to be told this and the only communication I did have was the email with the original location on it. I ended up wasting over an hour as well as roughly $50 in Ubers getting to the locationKathleem P.

The employees on the issuing end in Columbia were first rate - excellent. The lady on the drop off end is terrible. I called to discuss having already dropped off the trailer and was placed on hold. After 40 min, I got in the car while still on hold. Walked into the store with phone in hold and she was sitting in the office on her personnel cell (thumbing it up) with no customers in the building. Worst customer service ever.JOHNW H.

The staff was particularly helpful and friendly and handled questions and potential issues professionally, politely, and appropriately. The Saturday morning crush was pretty intense. The woman working the counter was doing a miraculous job moving fast, handling multiple customers, and still being pleasant and cordial but a second person at that position might be helpful.Lana P.
Improvement for the next customer: If a vehicle is returned with almost zero gas, you need to put some gas in it before letting it be rented out again. I was pretty upset that I was forced to get gas immediately at the nearest (most expensive) station before beginning my task. However, everything else about the experience was great, and the lady at the counter was apologetic. She made sure I was reimbursed for the quarter tank I left in the van (meaning I follow the 1/4 tank rule and don't leave the next person hanging), which wasn't there when I picked it up.Nanette B.

At the end of the return, after completing all the forms, a message showed up in the screen saying the process was complete, and instructions on how to drop the keys and lock, I think. I didn't have a chance to read it befor it disappeared and there was no way to go back to that screen. I kind of just figured I could drop the Leo's and lock in the box but the lock wouldn't fit so I put it back where I found it; I don't know if that's what I was supposed to do... that programming could improveJulio G.

Drop off issues: Had trouble with website during drop off so decided to do the â€œdrop offâ€ filing from back at home. Once home, The mobile site didn't allow me to continue without turning on location services. Then the website would not move forward-assuming because I was not near the drop off location. Tried website via PC and this also could not be done from home. Tried both mobile and via PC The following morning with no luck. I then tried calling in and the wait time was over an hour. Called Stafford location. They were very helpful, but explained they could not access the account. They called the Alexandria drop location and ran into the same one hour wait issue. Finally contacted u-haul via chat option and was told the local office would close out the ticket and send me a confirmation email once the rental was checked in. This was completed by local office about 12:30 pm. Suggest allowing customers to do the drop off â€œe-fileâ€ from any location. Note: home is back in Stafford, Near pick up location.
