I reserved an 8' truck for 3pm mobile pickup. When I arrived the truck was stated as unavailable and I was that I had to go into the store to get a new reservation. I had to wait for an hour to get a cargo van when I should have been able to leave right away with what I initially reserved. Not sure what happened but do not expect timeliness or accuracy in your reservations.HOWARD C.

Marcos was the gentleman working when I came. I ordered my truck the day before for mobile pick up. I'll never understand why the keys aren't just put in the lockbox so I don't have to go in to retrieve key. Especially at this location where it seems there is never anyone inside every time I go. BUT this time. I did my check in, got out the car and the guy at the return station looked dead at me. He looked at me again as I walked in store thinking he was just someone returning their truck online and taking the pictures and stuff. He proceeds to clean the truck, the entire thing while I'm waiting, goes and parks it and then I realized he's the employee that's non existent in the store while a customer is waiting. He walks in and says â€œsorry bout that wait manâ€. No you're not. You saw me here waiting but proceeded to clean out an entire truck with me watching you and you never even acknowledged my presence and left me in the store by myself for over 5 minutes. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Marcos should just be a porter and that's it because he obviously lacks the meaning of customer service.SCOTT N.

My original reservation was cancelled at the location I chose and no one from this company decided it was a good idea to tell me they cancelled it for no reason, so I had to drive 30 miles away to get a truck. This location had no dolly's that I ordered with my original reservation. Next time I move I will not be choosing u-haul.WILLIAM L.

I checked the trailer in, the guy said I was good to go. 2 days later I get a call asking where the trailer is. I told them and said don't even think about charging me. Later that day I saw they had charged my card $30. I called, explained and they called the 11334 Bellaire location. After being on hold for an extremely long time agent came back and said â€œtheir mistakeâ€. Is that the way UHaul does business... before getting the clear, true facts, just charge the customer. Vehicle smelled of Febreze and cigarettes. Oil filter was loose and all engine oil leaked out after approx. 70 miles driving; luckily I noticed it when we stopped for coffee in Cleveland otherwise would have probably broken down on I-59. Service truck arrived very promptly, tightened up filter and replenished oil.John S.
I would recommend that Uhaul provide more staff to meet the needs of the customers. I had issues involving gaining access to my storage area after I paused my monthly fees. The Uhaul lock was on the storage unit and I called the staff at the office to have someone to come take the lock off of my storage unit. I waited for about 20-25 minutes at my storage unit for the staff to arrive but no one came while I waited at the storage unit. Another issue involving the rental truck that I leased for 1 day was giving me problems involving the ignition switch that would not turn on to start the truck so I returned the vehicle to Uhaul to get a replacement vehicle which Uhaul honored and the 2nd truck which was a newer vehicle worked perfectly afterwards. Also upon returning the vehicle at Uhaul that day at 6 p.m. I went again to the storage unit only to find again that no one removed the Uhaul lock off of my storage unit and again I asked the Uhaul staff to come out to my storage unit to remove the lock so that I could access my belongings. They never came to the storage unit during the nearly 30 minute wait. Hopefully these issues can be resolved so as not to have these inconvenience to occur.MARILYN P.

I supposed to pick up the UHAL at 7:15 at 11368 Westheimer Rd set B 77077, But they did not leave that key on the box for me to get the truck , so I have to drive far away to the one on Bellaire, and I'm very disappointed so much time lost and to make matters worst ,I have to dropped the UHAL Only on Bellaire, Location, again drive a long distance to return the truck while I was having one around the corner , very bad experience with the on on Westheimer Rd.CELIA D.

The only reason I am giving a 2 star because the young black guy who works there is the nicest person ever and was always very helpful. Other than that this is the worst U-Haul place I have ever been to. I have arrived after work before closing time twice and as soon as I pulled up the people inside closed the doors early. Once you call, they get combative, very rude and hang up. I also moved out on my scheduled move out date to avoid being charged and I was still charged and never moved out until a month later. I had no idea until I received an email to pay my bill. It is very unprofessional there. I'm sure there is a ton of vacant units that they are still charging people for.
