There are nails and screws in the parking lot. A screw was in my tire then had to wait til the following morning to go to discount tires to get it repaired

Andrea B.The location I booked and not have a trailer at the time of rental. The second location I was sent, had a trailer but was for a rental 30 minutes later. My reservation was for 9 o'clock and the other trailer was for 930am. The third location opened at 11 AM. They finally found a location 30 minutes away where I was able to get the trailer. Dealing with U-Haul is always a terrible experience!

Travon W.Trailer looked old and had rusting on connections. This location does have a lot of trucks so am usually sent here. A good washi g on inside between rentals would be good. The trailer wobbled terribly above 50 mph. They forgot to put electrical connection on trailer so we had no brake lights and had to stop at Tractor Supply to purchase one.

They should have picked up and brought it to the location where I made the reservation. Poorly run company!

mitchell b. | First ImpressionsWe were given a vehicle with no gas, in which we broke down in on a busy highway not even a minute away, causing me to be nearly 2 hours late for my scheduled movers. The trailer had claim stickers all over it, in which the cover of the tire flipped over on a busy interstate causing us to pull over once again on a highway to fix ourselves. The right side mirror was glued on so we were unable to utilize that mirror for the entire trip. When we called uhaul customer service on the side of the road I was prompted to call back because they were experiencing issues. Leading us to have to fix all of these issues we were given ourselves.

EVELYN E.My complaint is not with the location, but with the return process. Since moving to an automated, app-based system, it requires less man-power but the oversight does not match. I reported my fuel level as accurately as I could, but it still triggered a fuel charge. I returned the truck with almost a gallon more gas! I reached out to customer service and still have gotten zero response. I'm very disappointed with the lack of customer service. If I had known, I would have insisted on in-person reporting and return instead of the app.

Oluwole Y.The man who received the truck back was very dishonest. He charged me around $70 per gas because according to him, I had left the truck with less gas than I had received it.. It was not true. When I see this immediately went back to that store and asked to review the level of gas in the thank. This guy reluctanty did that and accepted that He made a mistake, so the managet said, they will returned to me that amount $ charged with no reason... So lesson learned...Always stay there when you return your equipment to U_haul so you are aware of what they want to charge you $.. or better stay away from this location....

Clifford U. | First ImpressionsThe lady who checked me out was super nice and helpful. That was the only good part of the experience. There was about an hour wait and more than one customer said they were there for the second day in a row because of the wait.
Cory H.I got a auto transport, and asked them to help me with securing my vehicle. However, both of the straps came off after driving for less than an hour, and one of the straps was so badly knotted that it took over 20 minutes to get the strap out of the knot.
Yen H.Female employee only helps customers that she can while sitting on her butt. My trailer was returned 4 days early, but she still charged me an extra day's fee. When confronted about this, she REFUSED to stop charges or refund charges even though the trailer was turned in 4 days early.

jose R.My car wasn't strapped in properly and I almost lost my car off the back. One strap was completely off and one strap was almost off. I'm a single female so Uhaul had to do it for me. I mine as well have guessed on my own. If it weren't for strangers my car would have been totaled and probably killed a lot of people. They have one job, if they can't do things properly then that's ridiculous!

As far as my interactions on property, he was completely awesome and took care of everything in a timely and concise manner. The other gentleman wearing a US Army hat with the gray beard was very informative and was great as well. Just in passing, we briefly talked about apartments in the area and places to visit. All in all, this location gave outstanding customer service, was conveniently open on Sunday afternoon, and was very clean and exceeded any expectations that I arrived with. Thank you to the entire Alief Saigon staff.

Other than that this is the worst U-Haul place I have ever been to. I have arrived after work before closing time twice and as soon as I pulled up the people inside closed the doors early. Once you call, they get combative, very rude and hang up. I also moved out on my scheduled move out date to avoid being charged and I was still charged and never moved out until a month later. I had no idea until I received an email to pay my bill. It is very unprofessional there. I'm sure there is a ton of vacant units that they are still charging people for. I called the main customer service line and was apologized to but never got reimbursed for the extra money I paid. Everyone sucks there except that one guy
