Got charged an extra day on a appliance dolly, was told it would be reversed. It has not been reversed. When I asked about it, I was told I would have to take to the manager but he was busy. I am still waiting.

Advertising 19.95 per day, I used this truck for just 3 hours with 28 miles, so totally I have paid $65.86, included gasoline $7.26. That’s around $74. Too expensive.

The guys were almost on time today - opened up at 7:03 am - the last time I needed a truck, they arrived at 7:14 am. Of course, I would have not had to wait if the truck pickup app would work correctly. I tried to list the number for a contact to call and when i hit the submit button to go to the next step, the app just opened the contact phone # again but would not submit, or go to the next step. There was no error message - I just had to wait for someone to arrive to get my truck. This was very frustrating - why do we need to list a contact (who could be anyone) when we already send a real-time photo and our drivers license?

Did not contact me to let me know that my equipment was at their location. No call, no email, no text. I was supposed to pick up equipment at 11 am at another preferred location. Husband went to the preferred location and the spot is shut down! The Bellaire location did not contact me to let me know that it will not be at the preferred location but at their store. I was sent a text after I called multiple stores to inquiry at 1120 am that my reservation is ready at 1130 am. My original reservation was at 11 am. 30 minutes late and 30 minutes out of the way. Called uhaul and the manager has yet to call me. No sorry received or any compensation for my loss of time or poor communication on their part.

I returned the truck with 1/2 tank of gas which is what it had when I rented it. I was charged over $6 for fuel. Its not the amount that bothers me..its the principle. I should not have been charged for more fuel and I have been a loyal customer. Disappointed. Very diappointed.

My experience wasn’t so good. I made a reservation for an one-way 15” truck but when I arrived Bissonnet location he told me there is only one needs return for same location. Then he sent me to Bellaire location and told me he talked with them. But when I get there, they don’t have one-way truck either

They have a process when you show up that you have to give them a phone number of someone to call to verify your identity. While I understand extreme measures, this caught me off guard. It was a weird process and it was hard to get in touch with someone during the work day. I wouldn't rent from them again because of the process.

I was quoted an incorrect price for a one-way trailer rental from Houston to College Station. The printer was allegedly broken, so I did not have the opportunity to review the "contract". Additionally, the contract was not emailed to me either, so I could not verify what had been quoted to me verbally. When I arrived at my destination, the receiving location said that they would only take the trailer for a massive "wrong destination" charge. Ultimately, I had to change plans and return the trailer to the renting location due to this error. Not sure if this is an intentional/common scam by U-Haul, or just an error by one of the employees. U-Haul customer service in College Station and on the phone was the worst I have experienced in the last 5 years. Both locations accused me of changing my intentions at the last minute, and wouldn't even consider the possibility that the renting location made a mistake. I would highly discourage anyone from renting from this location, or from U-Haul in general. I have filed a formal complaint.
