The security keypads were confusing at first. Having to enter the security code on two different keypads is a bit inconvenient. If this is something that has to be done, the same setup that is on the outside also needs to be in the bay area. I do like that you guys have carts to help move stuff around and that you provide a bathroom.

I was under the impression that the $200 I paid for the movers to load up the boxes also paid for the unloading. It wasn't until the movers had come to unload and had completely finished that they informed me that I owed them another $200 for unloading the boxes. Was definitely not nice.

There was no handicapped parking. Parking spots for trailers was not marked so I ended up having to move my car even further from the door. This made walking to first park my car and go in, only to find I had walk back out to move my car further away and walk back extremely difficult. I thought having handicap parking was a federal requirement for a business.

It took 3 hours just get checked into the storage unit, causing my uhaul track to have to be checked out another day. The extra day was reimbursed, but not the extra miles it caused me to have to drive. Since it took so long to check in I had to come back the next day to check in. When I came back the next day, they did not even show me how to check in and out each time I need to enter the unit.

I arrived the day before my equipment was due. I had been packing all day, on the road driving, and trying to get everything set up. I did arrive 10 minutes to close (which in know can be annoying for an employee) I called no answer, I parked in the reservation drop off location and when I went to the door they shut off the lights. The next day the employee admitted to seeing me but “had to” close early. Also side note I think you should be allowed to turn in an auto transport before the truck. I have to disconnect the AT in order to unpack the truck. So would it not make sense to unload my vehicle and disconnect the AT and return it to the uhaul before moving? Otherwise I would have to unload my car, disconnect the AT from the truck, unpack, and then reconnect the AT in order to return everything all at once. Why not eliminate a step. I returned the AT 15 hours before it was due but I was still charged an extra day because they are under the same reservation number.

Good experience in all particulars. *** Suggestion for improvement : I think that the concept of returning the truck with the "same (or greater") fuel gage reading as when picked up is low-brow. Why not have the customer top off the fuel in the tank after each rental ? ***

Have the truck ready to go when I have a reserved pick up time. The truck was not ready and they still had to round up the dollies and such. Also have the truck full of fuel. They claimed it was at 7/8 but the truck was below 3/4 tank. It took over 17 gallons to fill up the truck right from pick up.

The unit was clean but there was a lock on the unit so I could not get in and there was not a lock inside was described. I had to go into the office and get an employee to open the unit and give me a lock. I didn't mind but it would have been nice if this was communicated so as to be expected. Also the process for using the code was not explained until I talked with the employee.

The locations are what you would expect. Your Ammon store is a much better looking unit. There for more appealing to your customers. Insisting that the Customer Must use your lock on the rented unit is ridiculous. Also the big push for insurance in ridiculous even after you say no it is pushed yet again. It becomes quite annoying.

Taking the time to explain how to hook up a car to the tow dolly

I went to pick up the appliance dolly I had reserved a week in advance, and the u-haul person could not find it. Instead, she wrote me another order. Later in the day, while I was using the dolly, another u-haul employee called me & wanted to know when I was going to pick up the reserved dolly. The u-haul employees I dealt with were so inept and unprofessional. They appeared to be untrained and did not even know how to pull up a reservation. I am very disappointed with how I was treated and the inabilities of the two u-haul employees I dealt with. I have another reservation next week with U-haul for a trailer rental. I am tempted to cancel the reservation and use someone else that can at least run their computer.

The manager was rude and quite nosey, some better customer service skills are definitely needed. Many times when I needed assistance, there was no employee present at the front desk, or anywhere in sight. The wait time for them to show up was ridiculous. Wouldn't recommend renting a unit from the Idaho falls store, on 17th Street.

NO doorbell so had to wait quite a while to find someone, they were in a truck cleaning. Otherwise great. I like the smaller carts, easier to move than other places. One employee was very helpful, unloaded my car and took to room and unloaded. Very friendly, big black guy (sorry, wish I got his name) but at least I could describe him.

Had to walk across the parking lot. I’m in a knee brace. Then wrong dolly. Had to go back and pick up the one I was supposed to have. (Flat furniture dolly). Then went to put things in Unit. Wrong name on key. Had to again walk into store to get right one. So inconvenient. I feel I shouldn’t have any charges for fuel also free second month

Reserved unit online for $39.95/Mo. 3 totes and a printer box 5X5 unit. Sent student to wrong size unit and now charging $54.95/Mo. and Student is in another state now and can't fix it.
