Have the truck ready to go when I have a reserved pick up time. The truck was not ready and they still had to round up the dollies and such. Also have the truck full of fuel. They claimed it was at 7/8 but the truck was below 3/4 tank. It took over 17 gallons to fill up the truck right from pick up.Alexander W.

The unit was clean but there was a lock on the unit so I could not get in and there was not a lock inside was described. I had to go into the office and get an employee to open the unit and give me a lock. I didn't mind but it would have been nice if this was communicated so as to be expected. The locations are what you would expect. Your Ammon store is a much better looking unit. There for more appealing to your customers. Insisting that the Customer Must use your lock on the rented unit is ridiculous. Also the big push for insurance in ridiculous even after you say no it is pushed yet again. I went to pick up the appliance dolly I had reserved a week in advance, and the u-haul person could not find it. Instead, she wrote me another order. Later in the day, while I was using the dolly, another u-haul employee called me & wanted to know when I was going to pick up the reserved dolly. The u-haul employees I dealt with were so inept and unprofessional. They appeared to be untrained and did not even know how to pull up a reservation. I am very disappointed with how I was treated and the inabilities of the two u-haul employees I dealt with. I have another reservation next week with U-haul for a trailer rental. I am tempted to cancel the reservation and use someone else that can at least run their computer.DON C.

The manager was rude and quite nosey, some better customer service skills are definitely needed. Many times when I needed assistance, there was no employee present at the front desk, or anywhere in sight. The wait time for them to show up was ridiculous. NO doorbell so had to wait quite a while to find someone, they were in a truck cleaning. Otherwise great. I like the smaller carts, easier to move than other places. The night before we went online to reserve and found this new place had what we wanted. We then drove over there to confirm and were treated very well by that evening crew! The next morning when I showed up at 800am as I confirmed I would come the night before I was met with the guy behind the desk saying, "Thomas Moore...Oh, You're Late and I was just getting ready to call you" and I said "No I informed the young man last night that I would be there at 800am! Then he said "Oh, well I was just going to give you a courtesy call. While I appreciate the truth of that statement, it was the way that I was greeted, or NOT greeted in comparison to the previous evening! We then went outside to look at the trailer which he had me back up to and I went back there to help push the hitch over a little which he was very obviously struggling to move because it is heavy, and was again met with, "I don't want your help because of liability!! We then tested the lights, and again with the gruffness and quickness to be frustrated by the U-Haul person!! Again while I appreciate that too, policy wise, it was the disrespect in his tone and actions that I was not happy for. We went into the store to do the paperwork then he was done and I went back out to take pictures and a video of any damage for insurance purposes and liability purposes! We headed down the road and got about 4 miles down the road when we went over a railroad track and I was naturally watching the trailer when I saw the trailer jump up way more than normal when I realized that it was NOT screwed down onto the ball and had come off so I applied the brakes and slowly moved over to the side of the road letting the trailer hitch bump up against the back bumper until we came to a complete stop. When I went to investigate it was obvious that the hitch was never screwed down to the ball and it came off when the road conditions were right for it to happen over the railroad tracks! I called in to the store to explain that no damage was done but that the electrical plug had been pulled out and it was damaged. The same person came out to make the repairs and to help re-hitch the trailer when this time he did let me help until he was finished. He did apologize for the missed hitch-up and we went on our merry way until later when we returned the trailer> Would I go there again??? Maybe, but having gone to several U-Haul places, this experience was not a good one for me or us!! Thomas MooreThomas M.

We we charged for equipment that we did not receive. Calling to correct this was a huge hassle. Virtually impossible to get someone on the phone. Was promised a call back, never received one. Was told by one person (finally) that we would be credited, but our statement showed no such credit. When I finally was able to talk with someone actually at the local dealership, I was told I had to physically return to the store with my paperwork to receive credit. Totally inconvenient.Brent C.

Friendly service had to walk out to the street from the store quite a ways and I am also in a knee brace. Did not have the right dolly that I had asked for had to go back and get it. Then went to put my stuff in the locker could not get in. They gave me the wrong card would not work tried several times alarms go off no one comes call on the phone from the unit area put on hold no one came again I had to walk into the store they finally fixed it.I feel it could've been a lot better I've been to one of your other facilities and never had this problem.Jeanne K.

The employees were friendly and helpful. I have no issue with their customer service. But this location was particularly adamant about returning the vehicle to the same location (a one way). To leverage their motive, they wanted to charge $120.00 for me to drop the van off at a different Uhaul location, which was only 25 miles away. This policy is a big "F-You" to your customers. So instead of paying $20 or $30 and having the option to drop it off in a convenient way, I had to pay over $50 to pay for up to 50 miles in mileage, and return the vehicle after driving for almost two hours to make a trip that should only have taken 35-40 minutes.Tyler M.

The service representative was very kind and helpful. BUT, I reserved a 12x6 trailer. I had to change the date and time and called that location and was on hold for 50 minutes before I hung up! I called a different location to change the date and time. When I got to the location to pick up the trailer, I only had two hours to use it. That was not enough time! We got a smaller one instead. The service representative blamed trafficking. Apparently the location I called to change the date and time failed to inform me that it was reserved to someone else after I had it. I'm not quite sure who helped us. He acted like a manager? Short blondish brown hair.... height was short. But he was awfully RUDE to us and his co-workers. After standing in there for 10 min with no help and no one to be seen he walked in and asked us â€œwhat do you needâ€ and I replied with â€œI just need to return my uhaul. Not sure if I need to sign anything or what I need to doâ€ he just stood there. Blinked his eyes and said â€œokay?????â€ Then he said â€œfollow me so I can get you out of the wayâ€ ....EXCUSE ME? I made light of the situation and laughed, said â€œhahah yeah get us on our way?â€ There we're two other guys one had blonde facial hair. He was very kind. The other wasn't of white ethnicity. He was looking at our truck. The guy I was following got after the guy looking at our truck. Said â€œare you checking it in.â€ He replied with â€œyesâ€ the rude guy said â€œwell you didn't let me know you started it. Get out of the way and I'll do itâ€ He looked at us and I knew he was embarrassed. Idk what the rules are for checking in trucks but common courtesy interaction with other humans isn't hard and he lacks it 100% even with customers. My husband had to walk away because it irritated him so much. I just felt bad for the guy. I really wish I would have got his name. But I wouldn't recommend him to ANYONE!!!!! Awful!Baylie C.

Hailie was great. She was very informative. This will be the second time I used Uhual in Ammon. I'm not sure why other review would insinuate the use of drugs. I know for a fact they drug test. I rented the truck on May 15th at 730 am I suggest you drug test Hailey. She was definately on something (I mean like drugs or something) and carried on and on about everything I ask a question about. I won't go back to that Uhaul center in Ammon again. Would never want to have her wait on me again. I rent a lot of equipment through out the year and that won't be one I will go back to because of my experience with her.
