Everyone in house was great but your website is glitchy--I couldn't update the reservation online and when I created an account after reserving it I couldn't add the reservation to the account (it just kept putting my in loop and was very frustrating)

Overall good experience. I would definitely use this service again. Seats were just slightly dirty, but it is a truck, not a fancy car, so I'm ok with it. For a truly contactless experience during Covid, I suggest having person come out and putting key on ignition, so we don't have to go inside. Overall great though.

My Rental Truck battery died just as i was leaving w a full load. The process of getting roadside was rudiculous. Not necessarily the fault of the indivudual location, just uhaul at large. My phone was dying, i had to wait unconnected attempts at speaking to anyone. Even the wait call back put me back on hold for long periods without ever connecting me. And a snow blizzard started, so there i sat in a fully loaded truck, without head, phone dead from waiting so long on hold, for over an hour. Just unacceptable. Absolutely unacceptable.

Have a large broom and Squeegee on hand in each truck during winter. Not all of us have large industrial mops to clean Uhauls during the winter months when snow and slush accumulate.

I just needed a truck to move a sofa from a store to my home. I made an easy, Quick reservation, picked up the truck and delivered my sofa in an hour. So much easier than dealing with a delivery company!! The staff were friendly and made getting out the door fast and returning the truck super fast! 10 out of 10!

I was so impressed with the communications from the drivers. They made sure to call ahead of time. The pick up of the empty u box was at a storage unit, the place did not want the u box there overnight. The driver came back same day to pick up after I unloaded. She went out of her way. I was so thankful for her.

Your IT is terrible. It doesn't make a whole lot of sense to even use your website. After loading all kinds of information, it's required at the counter again. Compare to renting cars (which are worth far more than your equipment); your rental experience is a hassle.

I was running ~90 minutes late and was told, "i think we still have a van available" after I had a reservation for over a week. Van window was pretty dirty and windshield washer didn't do much in cleaning it. Lots of dents/scratches on outside, was hoping I wouldn't get charged.

Checkin process was slow. The customer service center is very difficult to get ahold of. They transferred me to the local Ann Arbor facility, I left a message, never received a return phone call.

Have trucks that actually run. My truck the engine light came on. Had to Call a mechanic was hour late showed up at midnight and worked on engine for 4.5 hours running and revving up engine disturbing several of my neighbors all night not to mention keeping me up all night when I needed to get going that morning. Truck was AWEFUL! Didn't run very well at all guzzled gas like crazy struggled through mountains of Kentucky and Tennessee. Stalled out going up a driveway into a gas station. Thought it was going to blow up more than once on the highway. Engine stuck on high rev even when my foot was off the gas. Terrible truck and AWEFUL trip. And I was alone.

Please prevent Mother Nature from pouring down rain/sleet when I'm trying to return my van. :-P Actually, everything was great, but I would recommend that the guys inside the store wear masks, at least when customers come in. I have an immune compromised family member I'm trying to protect.

Truck had engine issues and I had to return to the store. However they quickly replaced the truck and also issued a $100 credit for my inconvenience. I have used this store multiple times. Most excellent store! Great people.

We got stuck in a snow storm and it delayed our move, I called to alert this location of the delay (that was completely out of our control) and they were rude about it and had no sympathy, I was really shocked how they handled it. I was then charged for gas even though we filled it up, had to call and they said it was something one of their employees did. I'm glad I caught the mistake but was concerned over how often this happens.

I had 2 pods on rent. I took both units off a few days after both were returned to the Madison, TN location on 10/10. Called in spoke with someone. They took 1 unit off rent. Chatted online with someone a week later cause the 2nd pod was still showing on rent. They said they would send an email to the manager. Couple weeks go by and it's still on rent. Chatted with someone again , they said they would send another email. A week ago I received an email about monthly charges. Replied back that this was supposed to have been taken off rent back in October. He replied back that everything was taken care of

- Ask staff to wear a mask around masked customers. - Definitive confirmation at trailer yard drop off that the reservation is complete/closed (dropped on Wednesday at 5:15, still no charge/confirmation on Saturday)…yard attendant said “you should be good” - I've rented at this location many times, hours and availability are usually the best…

I arrived as soon as this site opened and the manager was not only very friendly but VERY helpful. He was also very patient when we discovered that my trailer hitch electronics did not work. He quickly helped me secure a van for my moving needs. Rental return was equally efficient. Great experience. Will be back for sure!

Charged me 30.00 service charge just to put 6 gallons of fuel in the truck. Seems a little excessive but overall I would always choose uhaul and this location for my trucking needs. The prices are considerably more affordable then anyone elses

Mobile check-in was redundant and clunky, there was no indication of where in the lot the truck was, and after it all I still had to go up to the counter to pick up the key rather than it being ready in the truck. I don't understand the point of a “speedy” mobile check in if I have to re-enter information already provided and still go up to the counter.

Guy who checked the truck back in barely talked to me and didn't tell me he charged my card an extra $63. He just checked the truck and told me I was all set. I would've liked to be told what I was being charged for and why.

The staff was very precessional and helpful. The storage unit was clean and very accessible. Trying to close my unit online was a challenge but emailed Reid, the General Manager, and he got it done. I appreciated that. I’ve had a good experience with UHaul on my move to Ann Arbor from Billings, Montana. UHaul made the move go easily.

Our unit was not available and Veronica jumped on getting us room for our stuff at 4:20 on a Sunday! Aaron was helpful as well. Gary went the extra mile and took us personally back to the units. We were on a very tight schedule and we got unloaded (had to go with indoor units, plural) in a very short time and on our way. Customer service at its best. You may want to check the 15ft truck tie rods, etc. as the handling seemed little loose. Keep these people though!! If I could give more stars, I would.

Coordination failed miserably on the national side. I was told a unit was available by national and I booked it to be told locally No unit was! You must update your national website to be in REAL time! Shame on national U Haul computer system management

When I arrived my unit had a zip-tie on it and no lock inside, which was the only thing I needed to actually get started. I had to go in the office and ask for one, which makes the online no-contact reservation idea pointless. I was able to figure it out, but the system of arming and disarming alarms at one panel, and opening the building doors at a different panel, was very confusing. I heard one alarm go off while I was moving in, and I'm sure that happens all the time. The unit numbering is also very confusing, and it took me a while to find the correct building (I'm in the 1600s). Going from the 1400s to the 2000s, and having the 1600s out front, makes no sense. Finally, the stairs to the upstairs units have a lip on them that makes it much harder to pull a dolly up them.

The 1-800 needs to give better directions on costs. I experienced additional fees for the truck and storage. Also they had me pick up the truck in Ypsilanti and provided storage in Ann Arbor. I could have picked the truck in Ann Arbor where the storage was.
