CHRISTOPHER DI'm not very happy about the storage and auto pay, I guess it's my fault for not shutting it down but I was rushing to make my move and not thinking about it. Anyway it was difficult for me to get everything lined up to move, it was the day before I was to get charged for the storage, I swept it out and all was good, until early morning next day and I was charged. I'm lucky, I'm not broke but not doing really well, anyway I have the money to cover it not coming back to my account for like a week, that could have put some ppl in a problem. You should fix this problem.

BARBARA K | Overall ExperienceThe battery died I called this location, and Larry said "what do you want me to do about it, call the numbers on your envelope. I could not find it, he then put me on hold for 9:00 minutes to get the number. They sent out a guy he did not have the right tools. I called again and Larry was not very helpful he could have cared less. I had to wait 4 hours til I could move. The ramifications were... 1. Buyer of my house had to reschedule their move. I have to reschedule my movers coming for the big stuff. I also had to cancel all my deliveries. I will never use them again. They charged 82.00 instead of the 248.00. They should have credited me all the money because they cost me so much more than 248.00. It has ruined my move I won't have a bed or any furniture for another week. I even filled the gas back up because I do the right thing. I also returned it a day early. We live in a world where no one cares. I will say that Paul was very nice when I rented it. I will never refer them either.

LOYD IThe local UHaul was fabulous. The moving company that sent two guys to help unload the van was terrible. The gentlemen that unloaded the truck were pleasant and friendly. They finished the work and said they needed a code that was emailed or texted to me at the time of booking. I looked through my text messages and emails and couldn’t find them. I was still trying to put together my fathers bed at the memory care facility when the movers boss called me to say I needed to drop what I was doing and get the code so that they can be paid the $292.00 I owed them. He said the gentleman who unloaded the van would stay at the facility until I got the code. The moving company manager on the phone threatened legal action against me if I failed to comply. I offered to pay the guys $300 cash for unloading the van but that I was too busy caring for my dad to get a code. Once the moving company understood that there was no way in hell that I was going to call someone else the two gentlemen called me and said his boss told them they would accept the cash. Needless to say this was an unacceptable way to treat a customer and UHaul brand suffers for contracting with such fools.
BORO RThe building itself was ok. I closed my account because it was getting very expensive to store items there, they raise their prices every year. When I closed my account, they messed that up and didn’t actually do it and I received a phone call a few days later saying my account was still active. So that means the employees need training. I was told it has been closed now. There were also lots of problems with their online billing system in which it charged me multiple times for the same storage unit. When I called them about it I was told they couldn’t help me and I had to call the billing department to get the problem fixed.

Reserving the truck on-line was a simple process and the truck was ready to go at the time it was reserved for. The check-in manager was extra nice and made us feel like we were welcomed customers. I also discovered they provide services that I did no know about previously. I will definitely use them again for my next moving job.

NOLAN DMy “No” recommendation comes from my recent experience. I rented a truck and drove it only 2 miles. When I returned it, their employee tried to charge me $9 for the equivalent of 3 gallons of gas that I didn’t use. I told them I wasn’t paying the $9. The charge was immediately reversed and that tells me that they knew the $9 charge was wrong.

Facilities are always clean, and they make a real effort to ensure that my stuff is safe. My only issue, if you can call that, would be that I had reserved a large 21‘ x 37‘ (something like that) unit. Through a glitch, the unit was rented to someone else I thought initially that I could get a 10 x 10, and 10 x 15, which are approximately equivalent in size, for the same price. However, I was told that only exact matches in square footage would qualify. as a result, I’m paying almost double the original coded price. Other than that, everything has been awesome.

I called the U-Haul customer service number and they connected me with the local manager who gave me instructions on which gate to enter. It was fantastic they were able to assist me! Upon arrival at Anthem Arizona was there are no units available and the reservation was not a reservation at all but a request only. I got a unit only because someone vacated unexpectedly and the manager told me the free months storage promotion ended months ago and never pertained to the size of unit I thought I reserved. Nothing your reservation agent told me was true. Last thing you want after driving two days with all your stuff is to have to make all new arrangements at the last minute to find a place for your stuff. I wasted money on the help I had hired to help me unload when the unit was not immediately available and you cheated me out of one months rent @ $208. I will use another rental service next month in the second leg of my trip if you do not make this right.

Michele T | Online Move InI have a picture of the thermometers in the hallways, and none of them are as promised and all are over the promised 85 degrees ... in the dark hallway nearest it says 90 degrees and my unit is in front of south and east facing wall of windows and it is even hotter there. I don’t think it’s right that the thermostat is not regulated as promised. Also, my wall is made up of multiple roll up doors, rather than normal walls, is this going to expose my unit to critters with all these openings I can see vertically on the wall? The sun exposure was not revealed prior to renting.

I had a 10' x 10' climate-controlled unit and was very satisfied with it. I decided that I didn't require the off-site storage, so closed the account for that reason. I still store my RV at the same facility.

If it's due on the 28th of the month, I have until the 3Ist. to pay. They only gave me until the 30th and then charged the late fee.

He was so polite and helpful and personable. I was happy with my experience for that day. But overall I would not recommend this facility nor would I use it in the future.

I ask them why didn't they keep my reservation and start charging my credit card, which is what they said they would do and all they could say was "I don't know". 't know.

We have spent over $20,000 during that time and NEVER ONCE did we get a call from ANYONE at U-Haul saying thank you, your a piece of s--- or anything. Just a BILL that in the last several years has steadily gone up almost 10% a year when inflation has been around 2%. When I did call twice to bring this up I was told that is not our decision and basically if you do not like it, politely pound sand! We have also rented U-Hauls and got no special consideration for having a storage facility, etc. Good luck with your future business as we will not ever be renting with you again because YOU ALL DO NOT CARE! I reserved a unit in which the website clearly states that it will fit a two-bedroom 1200 square foot home. When I got there to check in yesterday the customer service agent asked me to please look at the size of the unit to make sure that it was going to be big enough for what I needed. When I did I was shockingly surprised. There is no way that 1200 ft² of home would fit into that unit it was the size of a walk-in closet but 10 ft tall. She also informed me that I am not the only one that has said that. Apparently it happens all the time. So I was technically forced to go up to the next size which is an extra $50 a month. At that point in time I had no other choice but to go with that. If I had had more time I would have taken my business elsewhere.
