Rental was nice but we drove 20 hours on the word of an employee that the rental was 55$ and some change. Sounds great. Anyway we get there to be told we must pay for the rental for 6 days. 420$ dollars. Was told 55$ was for in town. That wouldve been fine if the employee we talked to told us insead of lying to us. . The GM said he would listen to the calls. If that was the case we would've just rented a trailer local to us and returned it local. We are really unhappy that we drove 20 hours just to be charged almost triple what we were quoted over the phone. How many other people has this happenedto?. A man and company is only as good as their word!!

Great location. The only downside, if any, is that we waited a while outside for someone to come assist us. I think they just didn't know we were there. Once we were identified, they were out and helping us.

In cab labeling included vehicle height and how to turn off the default 'tow haul mode' which was very useful. The readily available truck with a ramp and additional appliance dolly made moving the appliances much easier. The cost was very reasonable and about 1/10 what a local moving company would have charged - the labor? That's what friends and Dunkin Donuts are for, right?

Dan and his crew in Brunswick are great. They were thorough in explaining the facility and access. Access hours were clearly explained. Dan also found a moving crew for us to move my mother’s furnishings. The crew worked hard and did an excellent job of packing and loading/unloading. Overall, an excellent experience.

My original contract from Oxford me got canceled then moved to auburn me. I called the day before I needed truck. To see make sure I was all set. The guy told me that I got moved to brunswick. So I picked trk up in brunswick on the 21st. Later that day. Auburn rep. Called me to see if I still needed trk. Not happy with experience. Will never use uhaul again.

The initial reservation that was taken by a clerk at the Brunswick location was horribly wrong. If I had not followed up with the central dispatcher for the state my move would have been seriously affected.

Had a reservation scheduled a few days in advance and it still took over 40 minutes to get the truck and equipment. I was sent to the parking lot across the street to find the rental and was told in would be in the front of the line. It was actually tucked away in between several other vans and fortunately I was able to maneuver it out. I was also told the vans tank would be full and it wasn't. I filled it to its original level upon return, and was still charged for fuel. As far as staff, most acted as if they had never worked there before and were not super helpful. Overall, not a great experience.

I'm a very short woman; the truck I rented required that the seat was so far forward to enable me to reach the gas and brake pedals, that using the rearview mirror required stretching way to my left in order to see traffic to my left. The seat was very uncomfortable: I dove a bit over 60 miles and got a back ache. When I spoke to the manager about my concerns when I returned the truck. his attitude was not consistent with his caring at all that I has had a poor experience. Should I need to rent a truck in the future, it will certainly not be with that U-Haul store.

Everything was better than I expected. They even had a place to donate unwanted items. Or, if you found a donated item you could take it. Staff was friendly and helpful and the place was clean and well lit. I will definitely use this location again if I need storage.

I had ordered an appliance dolly for my move and it was not provided in the truck. The employee who checked the truck back, Ronnie, did do a great job rectifying that when I brought back the truck and did make what was originally a frustrating issue better.

The storage rental process was easy and seamless. Communication with the site was excellent. The storage unit was clean and ready for move in as agreed to in the storage agreement. Checkout was straight forward.

I totally understand that workforce is difficult to find; & keep these days; U-Haul perk-benefit incentives might help find the best fit for U-Haul and its employees and customers. Wait time in lines longer than 30 minutes to sign up and then utilize facilities is difficult for many folks. These days it’s not just young people needing to move. I have used U-Haul all my life… my go-to community!

Even though everyone I talked to was friendly and helpful, the U-Box I rented took a full 30 days to be delivered. That’s was 18 days late. I’m afraid my U-Box was simply forgotten. Nobody could actually tell me where it was! Luckily, I put an apple tracking device in the box so I could see where it was. There is a whole bunch of improvement needed here.

Pickup via app sucked. Was very slow. Would age been 10 mins after to do at desk with an actual person. We had to call U-Haul to get help. Agent was rude and although she helped was non descriptive and a poor Cs person to be the contact for your company.

Owner/Manager was a total asshole. He spoke to me like I was an idiot who was wasting his time despite the fact that I was giving him business. I was already nervous about renting a vehicle—he made it worse.

The location allowed me to reserve a self pick up at 8am and they did not have a truck assigned when I arrived so I had to wait until 9am for them to open. Our moving day was all planned out and the extra hour waiting was stressful. We also ordered a dolly which was not in the truck (unfortunately I didn’t check until we got to our location).

The construction made my Unit Extremely far from any access points. I choose Uhaul because the previous summer for ease of access because I knew everything was ground floor and generally lots of entrances so most units are no more than a couple hundred feet from the nearest door. It was like a 2 minute walk each way to the unit which adds up when you are moving a lot of stuff.

The computer security system did not always work the door would be propped open. When we opened out storage unit the alarm would sound. It was very loud. This occurred for 2-4 months. No one ever came to confirm I’m the owner. When I inquired about this the staff said it’s been going on a long time and didn’t expect it to be fixed any time soon. Also I emptied out my units about two weeks prior to my anniversary date. When I came in to close my account. They informed me my account was closed when I emptied the unit. I was never notified this was happening.

I could have done without the chip my nails sexist comments The beeping thing at the doors 30-80 times while unloading is so unnerving I can’t even think while it’s happening Not having access all nite is not what I expected and the jokes vs answers I never should have rented at all Also the lights never turned on when I went in my aisle or unit being in the unit moving objects in the dark was ridiculous so overall I would not be back

Very impressed with the cleanliness of this 5 star 1st rate facility. Mr. Dan is a great leader and when I complimented the efficiency and quality of his U-Haul facility- He was very swift in crediting his team. He said he has a good team- and I agree. The bathrooms are as clean as my own at home. Far better experience than even some other U hauls offer. Let’s hope this continues. Wonderful Wünderbar!

U haul needs a representative to show you how to use both key pads for check in and out, very confusing. The maps inside the building are old and incorrect so the unit doesn’t even show on the map. Hard to find the garage door due to all the construction and blocked off exits. No a fun experience at all!

My access code did not work on the exterior key pad to open the uhaul truck unloading zone. My unit was very clean and ready for moving in. Easy with moving things within the unit and lock was left in unit for our arrival.

The facilty is nice… above average. The customer service is a big problem. Workers need training. I do understand that the whole world is short staffed but it was more than that. It made the experience very difficult. Extra long wait to speak to staff with no acknowledgement, poor verbal instruction, key card repeatedly did not work and workers clueless to help or even effectively communicate. When I vacated i told them before, talked to them during, and waited to speak directly to someone afterward to assure i was following requirements. Still i was called about a late payment the next month and no one seemed to know i had gone.

I had my stuff here for over two years, very clean and well run facility. The staff is excellent, I’ve used their propane fill service, awesome. I used their trucks, their storage, off hours, middle of the day, at night…always safe and secure. We’ll managed place. Thanks.

My moving team, Midcoast Moving Solutions, did all the moving. Dan assisted them with the storage unit. I’ve yet to see the climate controlled unit. I know Midcoast Moving Solutions from Topsham do a lot of business at this facility and are very pleased with the management and maintenance.

High moisture in the building caused molding and mildew on a lot of my wooden items. Also random bird feathers were in my unit regularly. The few times I met the staff, Dan stood there and stared at me loading my items as if I was sealing them or living in the storage unit. Very odd interactions but at least the place was always lit and warm. The janitorial staff were always nice

There was issues with the access to the building. The drive up to make the doors work wasn’t clear and there were no carts at the door nearest my unit so I had to park at the other end to have access to carts. Someone was there to help me get in and Otherwise everything was great.
