There were part availability issues (not uhaul's fault, I understand) but also communication issues throughout the process of making this installation happen. I had to go way above and beyond to work for communication for 2 months and even switch from my original location to get the installation to happen. The friendly helpfulness of the employees who did eventually help me and get the hitch installed was noteworthy and much appreciated. But I felt that I had to take a far too active roll in hunting down communication than I should have had to and was not happy with the lack of communication efforts and updates through most of the process. It was extremely stressful, and hard to keep the ball rolling. Seems to be not so much a problem with the existing employees, who appeared to be doing all they could, but rather a problem of not enough employees. There doesn't seem to be anything specifically wrong with this facility, but will not be going out of my way to use uhaul in general for hitch installation in the future.Alice C.

Had issues with non renters gaining access after hours by trying to pull into 'garage' area, also, someone had been accessing my storages when I was not there, and guy with uhaul shirt went into a different unit one visit, he set off alarm and he shut and locked the door and boogied down hallway (not sure if just posing as employee?)-which does not give security a high rating. Great experience using U-Haul's Arrow Heart store. The team there are good people and the rental process was quick & efficient, not least because I pre-ordered via the website. However, there was one significant issue that needs attention.. Location appears to be understaffed, so callers â€” apparently, per some kind of STUPID corporate policy?? â€” regularly get a, 'The number you dialed is not in service' message....in other words, it sounds like they've gone out of business. This is the CRAZIEST example of silly, wrongheaded corporate governance I've ever seen or heard of and comes across even worse in direct experience. Look, I know this is a tough time for big companies to maintain adequate staffing (both due to the pandemic and a long-standing reliance on CHEAPSKATE HIRING PRACTICES), but it's a mess. FIX THIS. Again UHaul's apparent policy of sending customers miles from their location to pick up equipment, for UHaul's convenience, and with utter disregard of the customer outweighs anything positive about the drop-off or the quality of the trailer. I WILL NEVER DEAL WITH UHAUL AGAIN. Although, you didn't ask, I would also say that UHaul's on line system is AWFUL. I attempted to line everything up in advance on line. It apparently did not work. Without any explanation my reservation was cancelled moments before my trip. THE UHAUL EXPERIENCE ABSOLUTELY WAS THE MOST NERVE WRACKING, FRUSTRATING CONSUMER EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE ( AND I AM 65). Excellent experience with my rental. The only thing that I would suggest for the company to improve the after hours return process. I was not able to upload the photo of the trailer & it would not allow my to go past that point in the process. I finally gave up after 20 minutes of trying. Possibly a glitch in the system? Do other people have the same issue? But I called the location the next morning and they were more than helpful to correct it and they removed the $20 after hours charge that is applied if you don't use the website app for the return (I tried to) otherwise it was an excellent experience and I would definitely recommend this location to anyoneVELINDA E.

I understand this is a issue with the national uhaul system but the staff was not helpful in resolving this issue, causing hours long delays in my moving day plus extra expense. So many mix ups it was ridiculous. Three pieces of my furniture arrived wet and the furniture pads were stuck on them. The insurance company would not pick up or allow a voicemail. (Holiday weekend) I've spent two days cleaning the furniture so there's no sense in filing a claim now as the wet stuff would ruin the wood if left it on so I had to start the cleaning process without an adjuster seeing it.
