Take Perfect Time Right Time On Time off the list of moving help companies. They did not show up at the confirmed time -not perfect, not right time, no show. No one answered the numerous calls we made to see why they had not shown up. Later after we had to return our rental truck, they Blamed U Haul for the problem. Said U Haul over books and books last minute. We reserved their services 2 weeks prior to moving date. They confirmed and on the day before they sent a reminder text to confirm day and time.

I ordered a trailer to take my daughter back home. They charged me for taking a trailer out of town when I told the agent that I was going to return the trailer in Fairhope Alabama

Tell the truth!!! I rented a car dolley at 6:45pm one afternoon for a local vehical move and specifically asked the CSR if there was an option to bring it back later that night after hours. I was told that would be no problem at all and it would actually cost less if less than 4 hours on the rental. You can tell on the contract that this was discussed because they listed the return time at 11pm that same night, not 24 hrs later. I used the dolly and returned it that night at 9:38pm.... less than 3 hr use. When I checked my account the next morning they still charged me the full 24hr rental rate. I stopped by the office and tried to discuss the issue with a guy that said he was the assistant manager. This CSR quickly stated that there was no such thing as reduced rates on any U-Haul rentals and that there's nothing he could do. I didn't care as much that they did not honor the stated rate reduction as much as they lied about... I would not have brought it back at 10 o'clock at night in the rain if I had known I was not going to get a discounted rate for the early return. I've used U-Haul many times over the years for moves and equipment but I will be looking at other options in the future. It's more about principles that money at this point.

People very rude. We got our truck 3 hours after the scheduled pickup time. They insisted they informed us that it wouldn’t be ready but I checked my email and texts multiple times, they didn’t say it wouldn’t be ready until an hour after the scheduled time. Extremely disappointed and won’t be using Uhaul for my next move.

We had difficulty both picking up and dropping off the trailer we rented. Equipment was fine. The pickup took almost an hour due to slow customer service, and during the drop off we were accosted by a man eagerly awaiting the trailer (although we were dropping off within the correct time frame), whom I can only assume wasn't communicated well with since he was angry at us for not dropping it off earlier. We will be using other UHaul service providers in the future.

Truck had a damaged front bumper when received. Uhaul Representative advised this damage was noted in the files which was not true as there was no documentation nor the standard sticker was applied as I was advised at drop off location Truck was not clean and had bad odor (leftover fast food type) which made the 11 hour drive very miserable even with air fresheners

Rented a auto transporter the agent put in the information to make it work for him. I towed the transporter with my 2015 chevy tahoe, I was going to tow a 1995 suburban, it fit onto the transporter but it was to much to tow it was all over the road I could have wrecked my vehicle or worsted so I tried to switch vehicle and my tires on the 2015 tahoe was too wide to fit so I was unable to use the transporter when I informed the agent he said that you signed the agreement and that's it. So I waited time and money and got nothing for but a bad experience.

The original reservation was scheduled incorrectly in the store by an employee and cancelled without notification. Tyler did find a trailer for me to rent. The side marker lights were out on the trailer. Why does u-haul think it makes sense to rent a trailer to someone and not inform them that a jack will be needed and is not provided with the rental?

Improve the markings to indicate traffic flow at this location and improve education of customers regarding the flow of traffic at this location. A customer tried to exit the facility through the equipment drop-off lane, temporarily preventing me from dropping off my equipment.

I did after hours drop off. Could have been a sign for instructions. Relatively easy though. I did need to find some blocks to prevent the trailer from rolling. that could have been easier. The app did crash which was frustrating.

Trailer had not been inspected or cleaned out from last use. 7-8 dirty broken-down boxes, 4-5 pads and lots of rope bits all over the trailer. Floor was absolutely flithy.

I was promised a 26 foot truck 3 different times and ended up with a 20 foot truck. My initial reservation location was cancelled and move to another location. My second reservation was an after hour pickup and it wasn’t complete so I wasn’t able to pick it up. My reservation was then moved to the next day saying a 26 ft truck would be available and the only truck available was the 20 ft. Finally got a truck so it wasn’t the worst experience by default. But overall very poor

I have 2 different price quotes on this rental. One from the day I picked it up and then my final receipt on the return. Why did the mileage, safe move and rental rate price all changed prices on the final receipt? I will follow up with this.

Helpful staff takes the experience from average to Excellent. There is no substitute for good customer service. Now, the app-based truck rental without humans is so annoying I probably won't use Uhaul for truck rental again. But the storage facility with staff was great.

Sunday hours would be helpful - even if limited. Megan (the manager) was AMAZING! She was helpful, informed, efficient, patient, and accommodating. I sure hope she is there when I bring my business back next summer - and I hope she is amply recognized and rewarded for the work she does. She is the reason I will come back.

Scheduled a storage unit and cargo van. PU at 10 am Drove 3.5 hrs , No storage unit, and was told PU van at 5pm...had to find another storage unit across town, was able to get van early.
